He died on 28 Nov 1793 in Prince Edward Co., Va.. served as a private in Captain Joseph Smith's company in a detachment of 2nd Virginia Brigade commanded by Col. Fediger, formerly the 6th Virginia Regiment commanded by Col. William Russell, known also as the 10th Virginia Regiment commanded by Col. Stevens. He enlisted Sept. 6, 1776 and served three years. His name is borne on the rolls to March 1780 with remark "Expiration of service March 31, 1779. AMONETTE, John: (1756-1833) applied for pension, 1832, for service as private in Captain Franklin's company, 10th Virginia regiment. He was born in Virginia; died in Madison County, Alabama.-- D.A.R. Lineage Book, Vol. 68, p. 315. AARON, William: Born 1751, died 1841, he served in the 10th Virginia Regiment, listed as a pensioner on the 1840 Franklin County, Georgia Census. BRUMMETT, Thomas: Thomas Brummett born in Virginia 1754, died November 11, 1842 in Anderson County, TN. He married Mary BURRIS 17 Apr 1792 in Knox Co., TN. Mary Brummett, his widow, applied for a widows pension July 1838 in Rockcastle County, Ky and died November 6, 1847 In Anderson Co., TN. Thomas Brummett applied for a pension in Anderson County on October 16, 1818, aged 64 years. Thomas Brummett was a Private in the Virginia Continental line. His application (R-1368) for a pension in Knox Co, TN as a resident of Anderson Co.
