RESEARCH INTERESTS:

1. Determine the role of altered gene expression in brain regions that regulate mood and relate to psychiatry disease. 2. Determine the underlying mechanisms by which stress and endocrine challenges influence brain function. 3. Determine the roles of small non-coding RNAs in the adult brain and in psychiatric disease.
