HIGHLIGHTS .

 Floods hit large parts of Bandung regency after the water level had dropped.  Dayeuhkolot, Baleendah, and Bojongsoang, surrounded by floods and the water level reaches 30-250 cm.  Flooding widespread in the district of Rancaengkek and cutting off the - Bandung route. 13 thousand residents affected by flooding still survive in refugee camps.  2 People Died and 3 people missing, 13,000 people displaced. A total of 5,900 families / 24,000 inhabitants affected by the floods.

SITUATION OVERVIEW I..

Floods hit large parts of Bandung regency. Flooding caused by the Citarum River that passes through the region is overflow after heavy rains in an upstream and downstream parts of the river.

As a result, three districts in Bandung regency, namely Dayeuhkolot, Baleendah, and Bojongsoang, surrounded by flood and the water level reaches 30-250 centimeters. In addition to the districts, floods also hit the District Rancaekek. Flooding had cut off the highway of Garut and Bandung. More than 13 thousand people affected by the floods, and they still survive in refugee camps.

According to data from BPBDs Bandung regency, until now there are 68 evacuation shelter that spread over three districts. Subdistrict Dayeuhkolot is the most affected region by the floods with the number of refugees reached 7671 people. While in Baleendah recorded 4,698 refugees. As in Bojongsoang there were 820 inhabitants displaced.

Floods hit half of the Bandung district since Saturday (12/3). 24 thousand people become victims affected by floods in 15 districts, such as Cicalengka, Rancaekek, Cileunyi, Solokan Jeruk, Majalaya, Ciparay, Baleendah, Dayeuhkolot, Bojongsoang, Pameungpeuk, Banjaran, Arjasri, Cangkuang, Katapang and Kutawaringin. The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) said the number of people displaced by floods due to the overflowing of the Citarum River reached 10.344 inhabitants and there are 701 infants, 489 elderly people, 38 pregnant women and 290 lactating mothers. The refugees is displaced in 28 refugee camps.

BPBDs Bandung regency, BPBDs Province, TRC BNPB together with military, police, Basarnas, Tagana, PMI, SKPD, some community activists disaster like Dompet Dhuafa , Rumah Zakat, Tabara, BPBD's Preventing Unit, volunteers and communities make the handling of the emergency together.

BPBDs Bandung Regency also build shelters in the flooded areas in cooperation with the Department of Social Welfare and the military in West Java province.

.  The public kitchen is build in the Inkanas Building Baleendah District.  Distribute snacks and 1000 packages infant foods such as porridge, milk and bread.  Distribute 50 packages of school supplies (school kits) for children in refugee camp at Inkanas Building.

Psychological Support

 Mobilizing rescue personnel and volunteers to help the recovery of the psychology of children through play activities in camps.

Evcuation

 Mobilizing 6 rescue personnel and one rubber boats to evacuate residents in the district and sub-district Baleendah Pamengpeuk.
