Scandinavian Modern Danish Rosewood Dining Dining Experience Extraordinaire!!! What a GORGEOUS Scandinavian Modern style dining set of 6 by Art Furn of Denmark!! We have 4 side and 2 armchairs to offer you. They are comprised of solid stunning slender rosewood frames with a classic Danish design, and they wear a lovely nubby off-white fabric upholstery which we think may have been applied at some point in their life over a black vinyl fabric under the seats and an orange and yellow tweed-like fabric on the backs. We would have loved to try to expose the original, but the backs of the chair backs have been adhered with an adhesive and we were unable to see what was underneath. They are sturdy and comfortable. They would be absolutely beautiful at your Scandinavian modern style dining table, but they have a prevalent Danish tone that will blend in beautifully with any design style. We are in LOVE with this magnificent set of six dining chairs by Art Furn…you must be too? Now, just make them yours!! Price: $5,995 Triple Terrific-ness!! This is a stunning set of three Scandinavian Modern counter stools by Gangso Mobler! The frames are comprised of gorgeous teak and the seats are covered in a wonderful linen-look/tweed fabric upholstery composed of black and cream speckles that at a distance visually create a grey tone. It’s just lovely. The back rests are a unique rounded or crescent shaped double bar design, and the legs are long, slender, and straight and connected with an x stretcher and a slender black bar for your feet. This is the perfect trio to place alongside your bar or if you have a tall pub style table, these stools will accent it nicely. They are of superior quality, in wonderful vintage condition, and constructed in a classic Scandinavian Modern design. We adore them and surely you do too…you MUST make them yours! Price: $2,695 Did you already set the table for four only to find out the in- laws are coming for dinner? No worries! This gorgeous expanding teak dining table can go from serving four to eight in a matter of seconds! In the style of the iconic Dyrlund, this table is comprised of a distinctive Danish style trestle base and amazing teak oval top. There is a bit of “bubbling” on the veneer surface of the tabletop and the leaf, but we don’t think it distracts from its beauty. Just something to be expected from a vintage piece. When not in use, the integral leaf is hidden under the top surface. When you need it, simply pull the table on both ends and fold it out…very convenient. The edges of the top have a softened bullnose profile which shows off the interesting joinery. The smooth clean lines of this Scandinavian mid-century table will beautifully blend with many interior design styles from Danish Modern to modern country or a mountain rustic house, and from mid-century modern to industrial or a home with a western flair. It is perfect for a growing family or someone who loves to entertain. And chair options are limitless! You need to make it yours!! Price: $2,495 WOW!! JUST…. WOW!! This mid-century modern Scandinavian teak side table with an amazing tile insert by Poul H. Poulsen for Gangso Mobler is absolutely stunning! Unique designs on each tile with squares and grey lines that create a diamond pattern inset perfectly in the center of this square teak end table. It’s gorgeous! Just what you need in your home for a notable first impression or whether in your living room or another space needing a lovely side table for magazines or that perfect table lamp. Covid have you spending more time at home? That’s ok, this little Danish side table will give you something beautiful to admire and a perch for your laptop so you can finish that zoom meeting from your sofa, in your p.j.’s! Hint…with its tile insert it also makes the perfect spot to set a cocktail, glass of wine, or cup of coffee! We LOVE this Scandinavian side table and are sure you must too…just make it yours!! Price: $2,295 Breathtaking and Beautiful!! This incredible lighted Scandinavian mid-century modern Danish display cabinet (or you could use it as a bookcase or dry bar) is comprised of two separate pieces. We have not been able to determine a maker, but it is marked Made in Denmark and we believe in the style of Dyrlund. It features a bottom buffet and a top china hutch. The top is easily removed to leave you with a smaller sized buffet or server if you so desire. There are three tall single opening doors with glass fronts on the top china hutch and three single opening doors with teak veneer fronts on the bottom buffet. The two left doors are right opening, and the one right door is left opening for both the top and bottom sets of doors. There is no surface hardware to interfere with the stunning sleek natural teak surfaces. The “handles” are created by grooved edges on the inside edge of each door. There are two glass shelves in each upper section to display your fine china; art glass or pottery collection; barware; or books and one teak shelf in each lower section allowing for tons of storage space. This is a beautifully crafted, highly functional piece of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern furniture, you need to make it yours! Price: $3,995 This is absolutely every females dream come true! A personal make-up vanity with matching bench. It is even on casters so will easily move from here to there. Scandinavian Modern in style and comprised of gorgeous teak its top lifts open to reveal a mirror on its underside and ample storage beneath. It has a sliding surface or shelf as well in the interior and even a hole cut in the back for power cords to accommodate those much-needed curling irons, flat irons, and hair dryers! The bench stores neatly underneath so it takes up minimal space. The perfect addition to any bedroom, dressing room, or bath. You need to make it yours! Price: $1,495 Quick! I know you need this large expanding dining table with room for social distancing! But seriously this gorgeous teak Scandinavian Modern oval dining table which is attributed to the renowned Dyrlund furniture makers goes from a usable 59 inches long to a generous 79 inches long with one leaf installed, and an enormous 99 inches long with both leaves installed. Perfect for a growing family or someone who loves to entertain. It is comprised of a distinctive Danish style trestle base and amazing solid teak oval top. The top, including the two leaves, is made up of narrow strips of solid teak that are glued together and connected at each end with beautiful finger joints. The edges of the top have a softened bullnose profile which shows off the interesting joinery. When not in use the leaves store under the top surface. The smooth clean lines of this Scandinavian mid- century table will beautifully blend with many interior design styles from Danish Modern to modern country or a mountain rustic house, and from mid-century modern to industrial or a home with a western flair. Plus, the chair combinations are limitless. You just need to make it yours! Price: $2,995 Holy cow! This Scandinavian Modern cabinet attributed to Dyrlund is gorgeous. And I am trying my darnedest to figure out the best way to describe its beauty. So here goes…the buffet base has an outer frame that creates a bowed side rectangular recess for two sliding solid doors on either side of a bank of six drawers. And the curves do not stop there. The drawer fronts have an upper and a lower arc which cause the fronts to have a bowtie effect and a spear-shape recess where the drawers border one another for the handles. The three top drawers are felt lined for silver. This buffet credenza is simply outstanding. It is topped by a china hutch display cabinet (or bookcase in my house!) with two double opening sets of glass fronted doors which are framed by that same bowed frame as the buffet creating a soft look to the glass. Inside this lighted display are four glass adjustable shelves, two in either compartment. This awesome display cabinet (or maybe it’s a dry bar?) will look amazing wherever you place it whether in the dining room, living room, study, or even the kitchen. And will look like it fits right in whether your design style leans to mid-century modern, Scandinavian Modern, industrial, southwestern, or modern country. Just do it. Make it yours. Price: $3,995 Oh, my goodness this is a marvelous iconic Scandinavian Modern dining chair! And to get them as a set of eight, not to mention in rosewood, is unthinkable. Plus, they are in fantastic condition. They were designed by Poul M. Volther circa 1960s and produced by Frem Røjle in Denmark. They are comprised of four round tapered legs with the front two stopping at the seat top and the back two continuing up as the back-support posts. The back is a simple bowed band of rosewood between the two posts. The seat is comprised of a beautiful basket weave paper cord. Four of the chairs have the original cord and four have just been re-done.
