In the 1930s her designed private residence (1969) Viennese apartment was designed by the Austrian showcasing items from Ross architect Ernst Plischke (1903–1992). Fleeing the Morrison’s private collection. onset of WWII Plischke arrived in New Zealand in 1939. His influence in the development of modernist architecture in New Zealand was decisive and like so many of the architects of the period he did not limit himself to the built form. Hvordan kan vi se møbelarkitekten Poul M. Volthers virke i dag, og tilskrive ham en plads i den danske møbelhistorie? Opgaven vil se på Volther som møbelarkitekt med baggrund i håndværket, og betragte Volthers refleksioner om ordet design ud fra en sproglig analyse. Den vil fortage læsninger mhp. at se formgivningsprocessen som en dialektisk proces og på tre af Volthers mest kendte stole - pindestolen J46, Pyramidestolen og Coronastolen. Et sigte på målet med møbler - humanisme. En prikken til den herskende fremstilling om, at ledere af FDB-tegnestuen, som kom efter den første (Børge Mogensen), fremstilles og omtales som efterfølgere til Mogensens tanker og idéer ved læsninger, diskussioner, refleksioner og designhistoriografisk kritik.
