Née d'un père originaire d'Europe de l'Est et d'une mère méditerranéenne, elle s'est construite tout en contraste et dans le respect de la différence. Cela se traduit dans ses réalisations où s'entremêlent à la fois rigueur et convivialité. Née dans une famille de tanneurs oeuvrant pour l'industrie du luxe, crocodiles rouge Hermès ou pythons bleu Klein, elle a toujours côtoyé les belles matières. Mais ses voyages à travers le monde l'ont incontestablement influencée. Du Yémen, dont elle garde en mémoire les tours de pierre et de terre, les rouges, les beiges et les ocres qui s'offrent aux yeux éblouis de tant de beauté à Tokyo, summum du luxe, de la modernité, du futurisme, elle aime aujourd'hui marier les contrastes, les matériaux bruts et précieux, le moderne à l'intemporel dans une grande harmonie. Osons même le mot de simplicité, mais jamais tristement minimaliste et toujours sobrement raffinée, au sens que lui donne Léonard de Vinci, une "sophistication ultime". Ne lui parlez pas de mode en matière d'architecture d'intérieur mais d'espaces, de volumes, de lumières. C'est ce qu'elle voit en premier lorsqu'elle arrive quelque part avec l'oeil d'un véritable metteur en scène. Trouver le détail, rendre visible le beau insoupçonné, accrocher une histoire au lieu, voilà ce qui préside chez cette architecte d'intérieur pour optimiser, sublimer un espace. Ce regard toujours en éveil, elle le doit à l'éminent architecte et designer Sylvain Dubuisson qui fut son professeur à Camondo, son directeur de jeu, son mentor. A sa sortie de l'Ecole en 1998, elle intègre d'abord l'Agence Bodin et participe pleinement au projet de restructuration du Centre Pompidou, puis rejoint son maître Sylvain Dubuisson dans son agence et s'investit dans la rénovation du Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris et dans la conception des bureaux du Ministère de l'Education Nationale. Depuis qu'elle a créé sa propre agence en 2003, les projets qu'on lui confie, (restaurants, bureaux, magasins, maisons, appartements...) portent sa signature : une optimisation de l'espace, une recherche de volumes, une lumière naturelle, faire intervenir la couleurs par les veines d'un marbre ou la teinte d'un bois brut, bref, le beau surgissant en douceur: un penthouse à Tel-Aviv, un hôtel à Saint Cloud pour le groupe Accor, ou un hôtel particulier sur la Butte Montmartre. : © claude weber : © claude Photo SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN 01 01 .
