Dear Teachers… What a fun song to use for practicing group work in your classroom choreography!

Keep it simple by assigning a word, so kids can associate their group with the lyrics. They will find this simpler than worrying about counts. While the choreography has been kept simple, by getting creative with how you group kids, it can be an audience pleaser no matter the age of your students.

The jazz square shows up in this piece. It may be helpful to teach this basic movement before working on the entire piece. This way, when the jazz square comes up, it’s easy for the kids to insert the step.
