Its founder, Benoit Sapiro, is fascinated by Russian and Central European artists of the fi rst half of the twentieth century. The intense and passionate action leads by Benoit Sapiro, for over 20 years, is undeniably part of the booming of the Russian art market and of the rediscovery of artists coming from Russia and Eastern Europe at the beginning of the twentieth century.
