Our brand, once more in the role of raid organiser, followed some stages of the legendary South American race. A great adventure, lived to the full by 11 contestants riding 11 GIVI-accessorised motorbikes. 2,000 kilometres from sea level to 4,820 metres of altitude, camping next to the start of the Special Stages, a lot of off-road, fascinating encounters, breath-taking scenery… Among the contestants were also Lucio Cecchinello, Team IN CHILE Manager of MotoGP and journalist Mario Ciacca, who wrote the following article for the monthly magazine Motociclismo. In order to strengthen the ties with DAKAR RALLY 2015, GIVI FOLLOWING sponsored Chilean Jeremias Israel, famous rider of the official Honda HRC team. In almost 20 pages we will try to make you experience through THE DAKAR photos and words the adventure lived by the riders.

Givi Magazine May 15 - tourism 29 THE CIBUSFEDERALIMENTARE PAVILION

Inside the Pavilion – focused particularly on a few regions of the North of Italy – you go along a path where you learn about and taste products from the Veneto region to Emilia Romagna. The concept is to unite the best food products with the brands and companies that make them every day, in a themed itinerary that talks of culture, history and tradition, as well as of innovation and competitiveness. The first stop on this trip is in Bassano del Grappa where you meet Bortolo Nar- dini, the world’s foremost representative of “grappa culture”. In Asiago there’s the Consortium for the protection of Asiago DOP cheese, and also Rigoni, the queen of high-quality organic jams. In Brusche (in the province of Belluno) we find the Consortium for the protection of Piave DOP, a typical cheese from the Veneto region produced in the Dolomites of Belluno. In Scorzè instead (in the provin- ce of Venice) there is San Benedetto, which bottles water. The tour continues in the Piedmont region: in Novara there is the Consortium for the protection of one of the most famous cheeses in the world: Gorgonzola. From Novara we mo- ve to Lombardy, to meet the Consortium for the protection of Provolone Valpada- na cheese in Cremona. There’s also the National Authority for Rice in Milan and Ferrari Formaggi from Lodi, with a quick detour to Bedonia (near Parma) to have a look at their new cheese factory. Still in Parma we can find the Parma Ham Con- sortium and one of the three branches of Agugiaro&Figna Molini. Finally we reach Modena, home of the Consortium for the protection of Modena IGP balsamic vine- gar, and last leg of this virtual trip amongst Italy’s delicacies.

30 tourism FELICE LIMOSANI TRASFORMS THE FEDERALIMENTARE PAVILION INTO ARTWALL

“Cibus in Fabula” is the artistic project designed by digital storyteller Felice Limosani, a project that through a live exhibition, puts on the stage 13 gra iti, realised by international street artists, which will then be “remixed” in a video installation with digital animations. The result is a live performance, visible on the outer façade of the Pavilion called “Cibus è Italia – Federalimentare Expo 2015”, which engages the viewers in the main issues of the Universal Exhibition. Food, nourishment and the Planet are recounted through two di erent modern languages that take shape in a single live performance with 13 artists from all over the world (from Japan, Ireland, Spain, France, the UK to mention a few) who work with very di erent techniques. Each individual gra iti will come to life thanks to Video Art, the language used by Fe- lice Limosani. Urban and poor art are associated with technology in order to amaze, provoke and reflect, through creativity, on the excesses, paradoxes and flaws of our Planet. The imposing art installation is made up of, at the centre, an LED wall of great visual impact (7x10 metres), while along the two side wings there are two gra iti realised on monumental canvasses of 70 squared metres each: two di erent me- dia to represent 13 site specific stories using spray cans and pixels. During Expo, the artists and Felice Limosani will alternate every two weeks, continually “remodelling” the exhibition space.
