The Adorabyssal Oracle
THE ADORABYSSAL ORACLE The Adorabyssal Oracle is an oracle deck featuring the cutest versions of mythological, supernatural, and cryptozoological creatures from around the world! Thirty-six spooky cuties come with associated elements and themes to help bring some introspection to your day-to-day divinations and meditations. If you’re looking for something a bit more playful, The Adorabyssal Oracle deck doubles as a card game featuring those same cute and spooky creatures. It is meant for 2-4 players and games typically take 5-10 minutes. If you’re interested mainly in the card game rules, you can skip past the next couple of sections. However you choose to use your Adorabyssal Deck, it is my hope that these darkly delightful creatures will bring some fun to your day! WHAT IS AN ORACLE DECK? An Oracle deck is similar to, but different from, a Tarot deck. Where a Tarot deck has specific symbolism, number of cards, and a distinct way of interpreting card meanings, Oracle decks are a bit more free-form and their structures are dependent on their creators. The Adorabyssal Oracle, like many oracle decks, provides general themes accompanying the artwork. The basic and most prominent structure for this deck is the grouping of cards based on elemental associations. My hope is that this deck can provide a simple way to read for new readers and grow in complexity from there. My previous Tarot decks have seen very specific interpretation and symbolism. This Oracle deck opens things up a bit. It can be used for more general or free-form readings, and it makes a delightful addition to your existing decks. -

I looked at the buildings, and I could see some shadows of students and sometimes their heads through the windows. I thought to myself: “This is a place I will never be able to reach”. Back then, I had to work 44 hours a week to help my family. Before that, I had studied my entire life in a public school where sometimes I was sent home after lunch or the snack break because teachers used to be absent. Things have changed, however, and I had the opportunity to leave my job and go back to studying. In March of 2008, I was having my first class at UFSC. I was living a dream. Four years later, I proved to myself that I could go all the way through by graduating college. I was thrilled! After graduating college, I thought that it was the furthest I could go. I was wrong again. I just needed some time to take it all in. Four years later, I was a master’s student. -

20-30+ Min Ages 14+ 5-10 Players RULES OF PLAY Setu COMONENTS: Each player gets a random face-down role card, and a random face-up guild card. • 10 Guild Cards • 10 Role Cards • Face-up guild card: Use Ravnica Allegiance™ • 5 Targeting Cards guilds (Azorius, Rakdos, Gruul, Simic, Orzhov) • 5 Color Leader Cards before adding others. • 1 Ablaze Card • Face-down role cards: For 5-6 player game, • 1 Ultimate Price Card use 2 Agents of Bolas role cards. For 7-9 player • 1 Rulebook game, use 3 Agents of Bolas role cards. For 10 • 1 Notepad player game, use 4 Agents of Bolas role cards. • 1 Pencil The rest of the role cards are Guildpact Loyalists. The Gatewatch Loyalists win if at least 2 Agents of Bolas die. Otherwise, the Agents of Bolas win! Statin te ame: 1. Choose a narrator. 2. Everyone closes their eyes. 3. The narrator says, “Agents of Bolas open your eyes, acknowledge each other, then close your eyes.” The Agents of Bolas do as instructed while the Guildpact Loyalists keep their eyes closed. After a few moments the narrator says, “Everyone, open your eyes.” 4. Everyone opens their eyes, then the fi rst color round begins. Color Rounds – For 5 rounds, do the following: 1. Start a 2-minute timer for this color. 2. Turn a face down leader card face up. This is the current color. Leave this card face up. 3. All players use this time to discuss their plans. Lying is allowed! 4. All players vote on one player of the current color to be that color’s leader.
