When are volunteers needed?

The CAC accepts volunteer assistance anytime during office hours (Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm) and on weeknights (Tuesday-Thursday) from 5:30-7:00pm. Although our office is not typically open on weekends, there are a number of fundraising events throughout the year that require weekend help. Who can volunteer?

All volunteers must be over the age of 18 and be able to pass a criminal background check. Our goal in every service provided is Christ Centered. Clients seeking assistance from The Salvation Army receive more than a bag of groceries or a warm bed.
