Foun- ded in 1962, Brest Business School is a fully accredited institution by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Brest Business School pro- vides management education to some 800 students and has a long-standing tra- dition of cooperation with European and international institutions. Brest Business School is a member of the French Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE) and also belongs to many international associations or pro- grams such as : the ERASMUS + EU program, AACSB international (As- sociation to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), CLADEA (Consejo Latino Americano de Escuelas de Administracion), EAIE (European Asso- ciation for International Education), etc. Being open to the world is one of the fundamental values of Brest Business School and we are very proud to welcome international students from all over the world to our school and its two campuses in Brest and Vannes ! School facilities All students, including international students, will be given a personal e-mail address upon arrival which they may use du- ring their period of study at Brest Business School. Please check our website. 7 BREST BUSINESS SCHOOL INTERNATIONAL OFFICE Exchange students, are selected by their home university. The selection criteria are decided upon by the university of origin. In general, it is the coordinator from the university of origin who nominates their outgoing students to Brest Business School International Office. This information should be sent as soon as possible so as to give Brest Business School International Office time to register resquests for places and to answer accordingly depending on how many places are available. Registration at Brest Business School is only considered complete when the ex- change students have arrived in Brest and supplied the International Office with all the necessary documents required. Timetable and courses are organized on a semester basis. French classes for be- ginners are available for exchange students throughout the year. Internship : Should international exchange students wish to carry out an internship in France, they should contact their home university which remains the legal entity likely to issue a placement contract (« convention de stage ») to them. Brest Business School operates within the Euro Credit Transfer System (ECTS). European Union Citizens Do not require a visa to enter France. A valid ID card or passport is sufficient. 2. If you are from one of the countries listed above, it is mandatory to register online on www.campusfrance.org in order to begin the visa procedure. You are required to pay for this re- gistration. On the website, you will be required to create your own personal file and then tick Brest Business School as your chosen school. Then, you will have a mandatory appointment with CAMPUS FRANCE who will review your application. If your application is accepted, you will then be able to proceed to apply for the visa at the French Consulate. Students from other non-European countries Must apply for the visa directly with the French Consulate in their country of origin.
