James Beaman (Lord Evelyn Oakleigh) most recently starred Off- Broadway in The Road to Qatar! (Original Cast/Cast Album). Other recent: Annie Get Your Gun and How to Succeed... for Goodspeed Musicals, and Sir Robin in the First National Tour of Monty Python’s Spamalot. Beaman has appeared regionally at such theatres as The Kennedy Center, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Huntington Theatre Company, Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis, and Ogunquit Playhouse, where he starred as Albin opposite Maxwell Caulfield in La Cage Aux Folles. Kelly Buck (Angel #2-Chastity/Ensemble) is originally from Boston, Massachusetts and is thrilled to join the company of Anything Goes at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse this summer. Regional Theatre credits include: High School Musical, Fame, and A Christmas Carol all at North Shore Music Theatre. She is also a dancer for NYC based contemporary dance company, dre.dance, co-founded by Taye Diggs and Andrew Palermo. Kelly just graduated with her BFA in Dance from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts. Love to Mom and Eric!

Kimberly Burns (Erma) is thrilled to return to MGR! Past credits: Esther Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis (S.A.L.T. Award Nomination), Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie (S.A.L.T. Award Nomination), and Rusty in Footloose. Most recently, she was seen as Guenevere in Camelot at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre (directed by Ted Pappas). Other favorites: National Tour of Grease starring Frankie Avalon (Sandy u/s-performed), White Christmas (Judy Haynes), The Last Five Years (Cathy), The Pirates of Penzance (Mabel), Joseph...Dreamcoat (Narrator u/s), and Tokyo Disney Resort. Proud BFA graduate of . “Thank you, Ed for yet another amazing opportunity!” www.kimburns.com Show History The original idea for Anything Goes came from producer Vinton Freedley, who was living on a boat to avoid creditors in the United States. He assembled a writing team as well as the original production’s star, Ethel Merman, not telling each who he had hired. The first draft was titledCrazy Week and later called Hard to Get and finally Anything Goes. Three versions of the libretto exist. The original written in 1934 followed by a revival in 1962 then 1987. In 1936, Paramount Pictures turned Anything Goes into a movie musical starring Ethel Merman with Bing Crosby. In 1956, Paramount made drastic rewrites for a second film version also starring Bing Crosby. The musical is currently in revival on Broadway starring Sutton Foster and Joel Grey.

Award/Best Actress in No, No Nanette. Nominated for a Kevin Kline award for “Adelaide” in Guys and Dolls at STAGES St. Louis, Julie will be returning there to play Martha in Secret Garden. Julie toured nationally with Annie as Lily St. Regis, playing Madison Square Garden. Regionally, Julie’s worked lots: Sacramento Music Circus, TUTS, Ogunquit Playhouse, Kansas City Starlight, Pittsburg CLO and Westchester Broadway to name a few. ENJOY! Elish Marie Conlon (Ensemble) is extremely excited to be at MGR this summer in Anything Goes. Past regional credits: Zangler’s Follies - Crazy for You (Mt. Washington Valley Theatre), Rosalia - West Side Story (New Candlelight). Past college productions: Harem girl - Side Show and Nickie - Sweet Charity. Brittany Rose Hammond (Ensemble/US Hope) is stoked to make her east coast debut at MGR Playhouse! This Orange County, California native is stoked to make NY her permanent home in September. Recent favorite roles include Lola - Damn Yankees, Peggy Sawyer - 42nd Street, Kathy Seldon - Singin’/Rain, Liza/ indian/mermaid/Jane - Peter Pan, and Sally Bowles - Cabaret in concert w/ OCC Symphony. “Bitty” is a dance instructor/ choreographer in LA/OC, and also enjoys snowboarding, beatboxing, arranging music, and doing an awesome ‘window-wiping’ impression. Geoffrey Howard (Ship’s Captain/US Whitney) is very honored to be on stage at Merry-Go-Round after working backstage in various run crews and surviving bracing New York winters as the MGR Youth Theatre Technical Director. A native Texan, Geoff received his MFA Directing/Acting from Texas Tech. His roles have included Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Sydney Bruhl in Deathtrap and most recently; two summers as Abraham Lincoln’s fa- ther in the premiere of Lincoln: On the Altar of Freedom at the Lincoln Amphi- theatre, Indiana. Geoff is married to Tiffany, the most awesome woman ever! Tom Hoey (Henry T. Dobson) returned to Auburn as a well-known DJ, Promoter and Nightclub Manager. During the 70’s he Directed “The Jewel Box Revue.” He and his business partner, Marcus Brumberger run Carnytown Productions, and are firm supporters of the, much anticipated, Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. His most recent effort, under the direction of Samuel V. Kennedy III was the role of Hannibal in The Curious Savage. Tom is proud to be on the Board of Directors of the Auburn Players now in its 50th year. Megan Kelley (Angel #1-Purity/Ensemble) is a recent graduate from Wagner College. Wagner performance credits include, Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Neighborhood/ “Spanish Harlem” Pas de Deux), Cinderella (Ensemble), Beauty and the Beast (Broom/ Dance Captain), The Dance Project (featured Ensemble) Brigadoon (Ensemble/Dance Captain), The Dance Concert (Ensemble) and On the Town (Ensemble/ “Lonely Town” Pas de Deux). Last summer she was Peggy Sawyer in a production of 42nd Street. She most recently was Assistant to the Choreographer for Wagner’s Seussical, directed by Michele Pawk and choreographed by Scott Rink. Todd Lattimore (Billy Crocker) started his career here at MGR when he was eight as one of the children in The King and I. He had one line, “How is possible hard water?” And at that time the theater didn’t even have running water or an orchestra pit or wings or a fly system or a lot of things for that matter. But for me to have these experiences and this kind of exposure to theater in my own backyard would prove to be priceless! I have Ed Sayles to thank and you the patrons for supporting this important theater that I have seen grow over the past 26 years and that I call home. I have to thank my husband Brian without you I wouldn’t be grounded. I would also like to thank my parents Peggy and Tim my grand father Ted Tennant. My siblings Tim, Judd and Kelly. Yoav is a dance faculty member at AMDA NYC. Follow your dreams! Jenny Long (Hope Harcourt/USReno) is ELATED to be playing Hope in Anything Goes at MGR! She was last seen on this stage as Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone, and in past years in A Chorus Line, No, No Nanette, Thoroughly Modern Millie, My Way, and Gigi. Jenny has also been seen in regional theatre productions or tours of Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, and My One and Only, etc.. John McAvaney (Ship’s Purser) is very excited to be returning to MGR after appearing in Promises, Promises as Kirkeby, Meet Me in St. Louis, and Man of La Mancha as the Barber last season. Sebastiani Romagnolo (Fred/Ensemble/US Billy) returns to MGR after a hiatus traveling Europe where he learned he loves Shakespeare. He is incredibly grateful to Ed and Lori. Thanks for continuing to have me back. He’s been in High School Musical, No, No, Nanette, and The Producers at MGR. He recently graduated college! He attended NYU where he studied drama. Brian Runbeck (Elisha Whitney) is excited to finally return to MGR where he appeared in the 1988, 1989 and 1990 seasons. Recently he has starred in GOLF: The Musical (Off-Broadway), Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde (Cortland Rep – 2010 SALT Award Best Actor), How the Other Half Loves (Phoenix Theatre 2009 AriZoni Award Best Actor), and a 10-week tour of Japan, singing Disney music with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also appeared at Geva Theatre, Tennessee Rep, Arkansas Rep, Barter Theatre, and many others. Jonalyn Saxer (Ensemble) is excited to be working for the first time with MGR! Originally from LA, California, she is excited to make her New York debut! Past shows include White Christmas, 42nd Street, Singin’ in the Rain (Cabrillo Music Theatre), Sweeney Todd, West Side Story (Young Artists Ensemble). Daniel Scullin (Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to Merry-Go-Round Playhouse this summer. He recently danced in the Long Island City Repertory Theater’s spring concert with Directions Dance ensemble and has toured with The Wedding Singer Second National Tour. Jake will be appearing in the International Tour of A Chorus Line as Mark later this summer. Jane Willingham (Evangeline Harcourt) is so excited to be back at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. She performed here previously as Amanda in and Ethel in Footloose. Her most recent roles were Mrs. Barker in The American Dream and Mrs. Foster in Tuck Everlasting both in Dallas theaters. Other favorite roles include Mrs. Banks in Barefoot in the Park, Mrs. Curtain in Man of No Importance, and the Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show. She can also be seen in numerous independent films and can currently be seen in AMC Movie Theaters ads. Lori Leshner (Choreographer) has choreographed and performed in regional theatres all over the country (West Side Story, Cabaret, Brigadoon, A Chorus Line, 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, Sound of Music and many more). She is on the faculty of CAP21 and NYU Tisch School of the Arts. At CAP21 choreographed Into the Woods, Wild Party, Cabaret, Hair, and State Fair; for the Tisch mainstage Carousel, Company, and 4 by 4 by Richard. She is happy to return to Merry-Go-Round this season, having choreographed The Drowsy Chaperone, Promises, Promises, Man of La Mancha, The Full Monty, High School Musical, The Producers, Brigadoon, The King and I and The Music Man. Czerton Lim (Scenic Designer) is spending the summer at the Playhouse with his lovely wife and a bouncing baby boy after having previously de- signed Man of La Mancha, Promises, Promises, The Full Monty, Little Shop of Horrors, Smokey Joe’s Café, and Forever Plaid. He lives in NYC where he recently designed A Number for NAATCO, The Grapes of Wrath for Montclair State University, Chaos for Theater Mitu/NYU-Abu Dhabi, and I Got Fired for NY Musical Theatre Festival. Companies include: Syracuse Stage, The Hangar Theatre, The Kitchen Theatre, Vermont Stage, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, TACT-NYC, Big Art Group NYC, Tacoma Opera, Syracuse Opera, The Minnesota Opera, Tri-Cities Opera and The Herson Group. Recent Merry- Go-Round credits include Les Miserables, Ain’t Misbehavin and Beauty and the Beast. Steve teaches lighting design at Ithaca College and received his MFA from the University of Washington in Seattle. Garth Dunbar (Costume/Hair Designer) is excited to be designing again at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. He is the current Craft Shop Supervisor for The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and works with the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, were he is also a graduate. For the St. Louis REP designs include Crime and Punishment, Rabbit Hole, Edward Albee’s The Goat or Who is Sylvia? and Shakespeare’s R&J. Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre’s Productions include Peter Pan, Into the Woods, Hello Dolly!, West Side Story, Little Women, and CATS. Others: The Belle of Amherst, The Shape of Things, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In his remaining copious spare time, Garth enjoys building puppets and the art of millinery. Jeff Theiss (Assistant Musical Director) is excited to return to MGR for his fourth season as assistant music director. Originally from Houston, Jeff is an active musical director, conductor, coach, and pianist in regional theatres across the country. Mark Anderson (Trombone/Tuba) In addition to being an active freelance Trombonist in CNY, Mark is the Band Director at Auburn Junior High School. He has played in everything from the Symphony to the Circus and has had the privilege to perform with artists including Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Frank Sinatra Jr., The Temptations, etc... Mark performs over 200 shows a year including National Tours of: Chicago, The Produc- ers, and The Rat Pack. Please support your School Music program!!!

Michael J. Cirmo (Percussion) is an active performer, conductor and teacher in the Central New York area. He is the principal percussionist of the Utica Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with Glimmerglass Opera Orchestra, Skaneateles Festival, Catskill Symphony, Syracuse Symphony and Colgate University Orchestras. He is the principal conduc- tor of the Rome (NY) Concert Band, an adult professional ensemble. Currently, he is an instrumental music teacher at Marcellus High School and Lecturer in Percussion at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.

Gregory Evans (Drums) Gregory Evans studied at Ithaca College (ʼ11 MM) and Manhattan School of Music ( ʼ09 BM). Evansʼ playing can be heard on multiple recordings with Remington (Blue Collar Music), Turkuaz (GalaxySmith) and the Danny Rivera Big Band. Evans has also shared the stage with artists such as, Jonathan Batiste, Terence Blanchard, Chick Corea, Joey DeFrancesco, Kurt Elling, Robin Eubanks, Jimmy Heath, Joe Magnarelli, Eric Marienthal, Branford Marsalis, John Pizzarelli, Dave Samules, and Allen Vizzutti. He is also a co-owner/founder of Blue Collar Music LLC. John Jeanneret (Reeds) is an active performer, composer and private teacher. A graduate of the Crane School of Music and the University of North Texas, John has performed with numerous jazz artists and groups, ranging from Phil Woods to Robert Goulet. His compositions and arrangements have been performed by various university groups and professionals. John currently serves as director of the CNY Jazz Arts Institute.

James Spadafore (Reeds) is thrilled to be back at MGR playing in the pit with such accomplished musicians and conductors. As a freelance musician James has performed with the likes of Tony Bennett and The Temptations. Mr. Spadafore has performed with the national touring companies of The King and I, A Chorus Line, The Producers, Hairspray, Spamalot, and Wicked. James wishes to thank his parents Pat and Fran, his children Joel, Christa, and Samantha and his significant other Betsey who inspires him each and every day.

Terry Squires (Bass) is a life-long resident of the Auburn area. He holds a B.S. in Music Ed. from Ithaca College & Master of Music from Potsdam College. He has performed with the Utica Symphony, Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of Northern New York, and the New Orleans Philharmonic. Terry was Assistant Principal Bass of the Syracuse Sym- phony for 27 years. He retired in 1996 to teach elementary strings in the Skaneateles CSD. This marks his 10th season in the pit with the MGR Playhouse orchestra.

Daniel Wright (Trumpet 1) trumpeter, brass teacher, and clinician has a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. He is a very active member of the music scene in the Greater-Philadelphia region. Currently the founder/leader of The Swagg Quartet and is a member of the “Don’t Call Me Francis” Band. Daniel also performs regularly at various theatres in Philadelphia such as The Academy of Music, The Forrest Theatre, and The Arden Theatre. When he is not performing he teaches out of his own studio, the DWMusic Brass Studio, in Bristol PA. He also teaches at a number of music schools in the region including five branches of Settlement Music School and Nelly Berman Music School.
