The music was released of this upcoming Punjabi ﬁlm on Saturday along with a mobile application with which users can create their own ‘Double Di Trouble’

Whenever a film is about to release, people ask who the director is! But imagine you are on the director’s seat yourself! An option like this is available for you on this mobile app specially designed for Punjabi film ‘Double Di Trouble’. Slated for a release on 29th August, the film has been produced under the banner of Mukta Arts. Showman Subhash Ghai’s brother Ashok Ghai has produced the film and it has been directed by Smeep Kang. Legend actor Dharmendra is doing a Punjabi film and Gippy Grewal is playing his son. Both are in a double role and that’s how the film has been titled ‘Double Di Trouble’. Saturday was a special day for the whole team as it not only witnessed film’s music release but also the special mobile application at Hotel Park Plaza, Sector-17. The app has been created by region’s leading public relations company ‘Prinday’. Along with Dharmendra and Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Ashok Ghai, co-producer Kenny Chhabra and director of Speed Records Dinesh Aulakh were also present. The album consists of a total of nine songs and the music has been composed by Jatinder Shah, Meet Brothers, Anjaan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Popsy and Pav Dharia. Among the lyricists, names like Kumaar, MS Sadiq, Jagdev Mann, Happy Raikoti and Veet Baljit are there. Gippy Grewal, Jazzy B, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ranjit Bawa, Kenny Chhabra and Khushboo Grewal have lend their voices for playback. On this occasion, Dharmendra said that music is one of the major ingredients of Punjabiyat. Music of this film will make you laugh and dance. I am happy to see such great musical talent in Pollywood. Gippy Grewal told that I worked with different music directors for this film so that the music could get better. These composers were selected according to the lyrics and style of the song. Also one of my songs which was shot has not been featured in the film because Rahat sahab’s song was more important to feature. I specially talked to Ghai sir for this. Speaking on behalf of Speed Records, Dinesh Aulakh said that the music of this film is way different from previous films. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s music and songs are getting wonderful response in the digital market space. Producer Ashok Ghai said that the best team of Punjabi film industry has made this film and now this mobile application will connect us directly to the audience. I thank the whole team of Prinday for this special promotional initiative. Coming to the mobile application, it is totally different and new from the existing ones. The user will get the movie info from this app and at the same time, he/she can use the movie stills and add dialogues and text to create a film of his own. Also users can share their creativity through Facebook with family and friends.Gurpreet Ghuggi said that “It is my privileged that I got a chance to work with the legend and very talented actor of Bollywood “Dharmendra Ji” and I am also very grateful to Mukta Arts, a banner of Shubhash Ghai who has given me a chance to portray this character. The head of Wealth Doctor, Vishal Kaushal was also present at the venue and he adds that “the double Jodi of Dharmendra Ji and Gippy Grewal will surely attract the audience.”
