HOW TO USE THE LOCAL DIRECTORY OF AIDS RELATED SERVICES The Local AIDS Related Services National Directory is a listing of organizations providing AIDS-related services, including: local health departments, community-based AIDS service organizations, state health departments, public and private hospices, hospitals, home health care agencies, public social service agencies, federal AIDS treatment programs, select veterans administration hospitals, social security AIDS coordinators, HIV testing sites, and others. The Directory was jointly prepared by The United States Conference of Mayors and The Fund for Human Dignity, Inc. The document was prepared through responses to nationwide questionnaires sent to local health departments and AIDS service organizations on their AIDS-related activities.
