Saturday 10:00Am Saturday 10:00am Dear Parents, Dancers, Family and Friends, We are so glad that you have joined us for our 10th annual Spring Recital! It’s amazing to look back and see how far GDU has come over the past 10 years. We began with Gwinnett Parks and Recreation offering classes at 2 locations, with 2 teachers and 30 dancers in the recital. We have grown to a studio location with 3 dance rooms and 4 park locations and this year is our biggest recital yet! This weekend over 300 dancers will step on the stage for an experience that will last them a lifetime. Thank you to all of the volunteers that make this show possible! Recital day is a very important day for our dancers. We appreciate all you do to make it special. Thank you parents for sharing your dancers with us and entrusting us to instill a love of dance in them every week. Thank you dancers for dancing your hearts out on stage. We hope that you have the most amazing time! All of us at GDU look forward to seeing you soon! Happy Dancing! Madonna University 73rd Annual Commencement List of Graduates 2020 Madonna University Graduates | 2020 1 Madonna University 2020 Graduates Congratulations to all of the graduates. In recognition of this milestone event in your life, and given that current circumstances prevent me from addressing you in person, I am writing to extend my heartfelt congratu- lations on completing all of the requirements for your degree at Madonna University. As I’ve said before, the decision to close the campus pained me deeply. And, one of the most difficult of those decisions was to postpone our Commencement ceremony. This is a very sad result of the Coronavirus outbreak. I want you to know how much celebrat- ing commencement means to all of us. The administration, your professors, and our staff members share in your loss. With that in mind, I assure you that we will have an appropriate ceremony as soon as I can arrange it within our state restrictions. While I can’t say for certain what this will look like, I want you to know what I envision. We may have several smaller ceremonies, with flexible dates, making sure you and your family members can attend while practicing social distancing. I am committed to handing you your degree in person with all of the pomp and circumstance that make academic ceremonies like this special. We are planning that every graduate will have an opportunity to be personally recognized. For Madonna, Michael A.
