Kirsten Harvey (Director of Dance), holds an MFA and BA in Dance from the University of , Irvine, studied at the School of Amer- ican Ballet and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, as well as at many prestigious dance schools in Southern CA. Mrs. Harvey danced professionally with the Marla Bingham Contemporary Ballet Company and was signed by Clear Talent Dance Agency, performing in commercials, music videos, industrials, stage shows, and movies for over ten years. As a professional choreographer, her work has been performed at the Ailey Citi Group Theatre in NY, Dance Festival, Pasadena Dance Festival, American College Dance Association, and with Toronto Rock Dance. She was selected as the winner of the Inaside Chicago Dance Choreography Sponsorship Event 2014, and was commissioned by the company to create a new choreo- graphic work. Salve Regina University, recently commissioned Mrs. Harvey for her dance piece Slit Red and was selected to perform at the ACDA New England Conference. As an educator, she has worked in higher education including at Western Michigan Univer- sity, CSULB, IVC, Saddleback, and many more. She directed the National Championship Winning Dance Team at Tustin High School as well as taught/adjudicated competitions and conventions nationally. Mrs. Harvey continues to edit for multiple professional dance journals, proceedings, and textbooks. After many years working in all venues of dance, she is thrilled to be working with the amazing dancers, faculty, staff, and families at St. Marga- ret’s Episcopal School.

Holly Mehling (Director of Dance Conservatory) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from California State University, Chico and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of California, Irvine. She has been dancing since 1975 and has taught all levels of ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, social dance, and Pilates for over 25 years at many schools and conservatories including: University of California, Irvine, Chapman University, Irvine Valley College, Mira Costa College, Focus Dance Center, Ballet Pacifica, and Orange County High School of the Arts. As a graduate fellow at UCI, Holly taught three levels of Ballet, Social Dance, and Undergraduate Dance Philosophy, Aesthetics and Criticism. Upon graduation, she returned to UCI to teach all levels of tap. Recently, she has been a guest lecturer in Dance Pedagogy at Orange Coast College. For seven years, Mrs. Mehling performed professionally with the -based rhythm tap company, Rhapsody in Taps, which tours nationally and abroad. Some of her other professional performing credits include Fox’s MadTV, Ballet Pacifica’s Nutcracker, and Chico City Light Opera (performer and choreographer). In 2013, Mrs. Mehling completed a RYT-200 Yoga Certification at Yoga Shakti. Additionally, Mrs. Mehling is an ABT® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. She has directed and taught in the Dance Program and Conservatory at St. Margaret’s since 2001. Holly is a proud mom of two wonderful sons, Tedd and Miles.
