From this arises an OM syllable and many skull cups appear.

3. Preparing the Portions

From here there is the cutting up of the Tsok. Then the first portion of the torma that is cut is laid out. The Master prostrates at the mandala gates and sets out the torma on the table in the traditional manner.

3.1. Offering the Best ortionP to the Buddhas

NGÖ SU JOR DANG YID KYI TRUL PA DANG | CHOK DU KUN GYI CHOD DZI ZANG GU NAM | LA MA GYAL WA SI DANG JI LA BUL | KHA KHYAP DRO WI DON DU ZHI SU SOL

Real wealth and that emanated by mind, all good offering substances in all the directions and times, I offer to the Lamas and the victorious ones together with their children. I supplicate to you for the benefit of all beings that pervade space.

9 3.2. Accumulating Merit

Then the Karma master holds in the left hand a skull cup of nectar. In their right hand they hold a kapala with the trident mudra. They are held joined bottom to top. If the accumulations are being gathered, from here, gather what accumulations you can and chant the root downfall confession. Repeat the following prayer as much as you like:

OM AH HUNG | JE TSUN LA MA KYAP DAK DOR JE CHING | YI DAM KHAN DRO CHÖ KYONG TSOK JI LA | TSOK CHOD BUL LO GYI SHING NYAM CHAK SHAK | DRO KUN DE KYED NGÖ DRUP CHOK TSOL SHOK

OM AH HUNG. To the exalted , all pervading lord, , together with the host of yidams, dakinis and dharmapalas, we offer this offering feast. May we enjoy it and confess all violations. May all beings strive for comfort, happiness and the supreme siddhi.

GURU DEWA DAKINI SARVA GANACHAKRA PUDZA KAHI

3.3. Confession of Downfalls

KYAP DAK DOR JE SEM PA DAK LA GONG | MI SHI MA GU NYON MONG MANG WA YI | PAL DEN LA MI THUK TRUK KA LI DI | DOR JE PUN LA TRÖ PA THOL LO SHAK | JAM PI SEM TANG JANG SEM NYAM PA DANG | DRUP THA ME JING MA MIN SANG WA DRAK | PUNG PO NYI MÖ CHÖ LA SOM NYI SHI | YO GYU JAM PA SHE PA THOL LO SHAK

I realize the universal lord in myself. Due to many afflictions of ignorance and disrespect, I have disturbed the mind of the glorious Lama and broken his commands. I openly confess getting angry at my Vajra Brothers and Sisters. Letting go the attitude of kindness, I have damaged Bodhicitta. I proclaim my unripened secret faults of disparaging the doctrine, I openly confess having degraded my body, doubted the Dharma, and performed hypocritical kindness.

ZAP MÜ NI LA RANG ZÜ TOK CHOD DANG | DAK PI GANG ZAK KYON MI DAM DZI PANG | WU ME YONG SU MÜ PA LA SOK PA | TSA TUNG CHU ZHI TUNG WA NONG WI SHAK | LA MI KU SUNG THUK KYI DAM TSHIK DANG | RIK NGA SHI DANG SHE DRAK DAM TSIK SOK | DOR JE THEK PI TSA WA YEN LAK GI | DAM TSIK NYAM CHAK THAM CHED NYING NI SHAK

In the abode of profundity, the conceptualization and analysis of personal fabrication, saying that pure individuals have faults and abandoning samaya substances, completely disparaging women and so forth, because of feeling remorse for the fourteen root downfalls, confessing them. The samaya of the Lama's body, speech, and mind and all degenerations of Samaya confessing from the heart.

10 NYI TUNG DRI MA THAM CHED YONG DAK NI | DOR JI LAM CHOK ZAP MO NYUR TROD DE | KHA JOR DUN DEN DOR JE CHANG CHEN PO | TSE DI NYI LA NYUR DU THOP PAR SHOK

Having completely purified all defilements of faults and downfalls, quickly treading the profound, excellent Vajra Path, the one possessing the seven aspects of union, may I quickly attain the state of great Vajradhara within this very life.

Purify all downfalls by reciting the long Vajrasattva as many times as a you can:

OM SHRI VAJRA SAMAYA MANUPALAYA | VAJRA HERUKA TENOPA TISHTHA | DRIDHO ME | SUTOKAYO ME BHAVA | ANURAKTO ME BHAVA | SUPOKAYO ME BHAVA | SARVA SIDDHI MAME PRAYATSA | SARVA KARMA SU TSA ME | CHITAM SHRIYANG KURU HUNG | HA HA HA HA HO | VAJRA HERUKA MAME MUNTSA | HERUKO BHAVA MAHA SAMAYA SATTVA AH HUM PHET

3.4. Distributing the Feast

You will now distribute the feast starting to the honoured guests. The Karma Master holds up a tray with a portion of select offerings and melodiously chants:

KYE! DIR NI CHÖ NAM ZANG PÜ TÜ | DU PA NAM LA THE TSOM ME | DRAM JE KYI DANG DOL PA NAM | RANG ZHIN CHIK PA NYI DU ROL

As these are excellent, behold them, for those that are gathered be without doubt, Brahmins, dogs, and outcasts, manifest as being of one nature.

Beginning with the Master of the feast, pass the substances around. As the Master shows the substances a second time, the practitioners say:

DE SHEK CHÖ LA RIN THANG ME | DOD CHAK LA SOK DRI MA DRAL | ZUNG DANG DZIN PA DANG DRAL WA | DE ZHIN NYI LA DAK CHAK TSHAL

The Sugata’s Dharma is priceless, free from defilements of passion and so forth, free from grasper and grasped. I prostrate to suchness itself.

With that receive the tsok. That handful is mixed with other feast substances. Also the single select portion that was cut is mixed with the first half portion. The remaining half portion is put aside to be mixed with what is thrown away. For the present practice, the torma is arranged according to that procedure. When it is completed, after the individual feast substances have been brought, again, after the individual portions of leftovers have been collected, they are offered. Then make offerings to everyone else:

ZHAL ZI RO GYA DEN PI YID TROK PA | LEK JAR DI NI GYAL WA SI JI LA | DE PI PHUL WI DRO WA DI DAK GI | JOR DEN TING DZIN ZI LA CHOD PAR SHOK

11 This food possessing a hundred tastes, ravishing the mind, well arranged, with the Victorious Ones and their children, by having faith and offering it, may these beings, enjoy the good fortune of the food of meditative absorption.

3.5. Torma Offerings

For the assembly of the sixty guardians of Kālacakra, the great Dharmapālas, the Dākinīs, spirits in general, the deity of the city, and the deity of the ground, say the torma mantra occurring in the torma offering. While reciting these mantras, portions of offerings can be distributed to each participant:

3.8. Recalling the Bliss of Inner Fire

Before eating the offerings it is important to be very mindful of their tasteand to not simply gobble them up out of attachment. Recite the following verse to remind you that these offerings are the basis for experiencing profound inner realisations:

TE WAR TUM MO WAR WA YI | DE ZHIN SHEK PA NGA SEK SHING | JEN MA MIK LA SOK PA DAK | SEK PI RI WONG CHEN HANG DZAK

By tummo blazing at the navel, as the five athagatasT are burned and Lochana, the eyes and so forth, by their burning the moon HANG syllable in the head drips.

Everyone can eat some of the offerings.

4. Offering the Leftovers

A portion of each person’s offerings should be collected as leftovers to be offered to the spirits and unseen beings who could not attend the feast. To bless the leftovers, purify with:

OM AH HUNG HRAH PHAT

Purify the ground with:

OM SVABHAVA SHUDDHA SARVA DHARMA SVABHAVA SHUDDHO HANG

TONG PI NGANG LI LHAK MI TOR MA ZANG ZHING GYA CHE WA DOD GU GYA MA TSHOK CHEN PO GYUR

From the expanse of emptiness the leftovers torma excellent and vast becomes a great ocean of all that is desired.

Say:

OM AH HUNG HA HOH HRIH (x3)

15 OM A KARO MUKHAM SARVA DHARMANAM ADYANUTPANNATVAT OM AH HUM PHAT SOHA | OM KHA KHA KHAHI KHAHI UCCHISHTA BALIM UCCHISTA BHAKSHA BHAKSHA SOHA (x3)

At the same time, with the sound of music, throw the leftovers outside. Then while playing wrathful music with the URCHEN SUM DUNG rhythm recite the wrathful mantras:

OM AH HUNG HOH HANG KSHA HRAH HRAH HRAH HRAH RA RA RA RA BENZA ANALA | SARVA ABARANA DHARMA PRALAYA SVABHAWA | SARVA MARA KAYIKA | BIGHANAM | BINAYA KA ADINAM | DASHA DIK GATANAM | KAYA VAK CHITTA NI | DAHA DAHA | PATSA PATSA | BHASMI KURU KURU HUNG HUNG PHAT PHAT

By saying that three times set the boundaries. Doing this according to the practice where the torma for worldly spirits and the leftovers torma are thrown out together is also suitable.
