The first stage in writing this thesis was the research proposal. After the research proposal was approved, I started my research into the obstacles and opportunities for Dutch companies in the Polish bioenergy sector. As I am currently doing an internship at The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Warsaw, the embassy came with the question of whether there were any opportunities for Dutch companies in the (rural) Polish bioenergy sector.

It analyses issues around valuation, accounting and allocation of value, as well as trading of tokens.
