Introduction 1. Soumis en application de la résolution 1244 (1999) du Conseil de sécurité, par laquelle le Conseil a décidé de créer la Mission d’administration intérimaire des Nations Unies au Kosovo (MINUK) et prié le Secrétaire général de lui rendre compte, à intervalles réguliers, de l’exécution du mandat de la Mission, le présent rapport fait le point des activités menées par la MINUK et de l’évolution de la situation entre le 19 octobre 2010 et le 15 janvier 2011. II. Priorités de la Mission et situation politique 2. L’objectif de la MINUK est la promotion de la sécurité, de la stabilité et du respect des droits de l’homme au Kosovo, grâce au dialogue qu’elle entretient avec toutes les communautés au Kosovo, ainsi qu’avec les équipes dirigeantes à Pristina et à Belgrade et les acteurs régionaux et internationaux. L’Organisation pour la sécurité et la coopération en Europe (OSCE), la Mission État de droit menée par l’Union européenne au Kosovo (EULEX) et la Force de paix au Kosovo (KFOR) ont continué à jouer un rôle important dans le cadre de la résolution 1244 (1999) du Conseil de sécurité et ont poursuivi la coopération et la coordination avec la MINUK aux niveaux opérationnel et stratégique. Les organismes, fonds et programmes des Nations Unies continuent également de coopérer étroitement avec la MINUK. 3. -

There are too many of them to mention by name here but everyone who personally contributed during interviews is included in the list of names annexed to this report. Special mention must be made of the representatives of the Government of Serbia and the representatives of municipalities and local communities, as well as all other people, who shared their opinions by trying to answer every question asked and discuss points at every opportunity. The Final Evaluation Consultant highly appreciates the inputs of professionals from the UNDP Country Office, and particularly, from the Senior Management and the Disaster Risk Reduction team. Special thanks are herein expressed to the UNDP Serbia Resilient Development Portfolio Manager, Mr. Zarko Petrović and Project team members Ms. Nina Topić and Ms. Katarina Krstić, who worked extensively with the Final Evaluation Consultant during the entire Final Evaluation process, and who helped to get in contact with relevant stakeholders, provided access to all documents requested and supported the stakeholders in openly expressing their opinions and ideas on the Project.
