Steps away from the hotel you’ll find Edmonton’s Art District where you’ll find the renowned Winspear Centre one of the finest performance spaces in North America and home of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, The Citadel Theater, recognized as a leader in Canadian theatre with five performing spaces, and Canada’s newest gallery, The Art Gallery of , a stunning structure and gallery that boasts more that 4000 historical and contemporary paintings, sculptures, prints and photographs. For day excursions, plan to visit The , featuring a world of exotic plants and flower and Park, Canada’s largest living history museum. Venture into Edmonton’s River Valley, a 160 kilometer of multi use trail system that winds through the heart of Edmonton and you will find 22 beautiful parks, numerous golf courses, trails for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing, picnic sites and nature hikes. If you are spending time in the river valley, plan to tour North America’s longest, most continuous urban park system on the Edmonton Queen river boat, several cruises are offered daily (weather permitting).
