CRIME DETAILS

After last week’s 10 Crime Incidents we have 10 again this week. This week 5 where committed in our towns and 5 in our rural areas. We had 4 “Contained Domestic In- cidents” which is high for our area and for the current trend.

We are under a lot of scrutiny by the Police on how we report “Contained Domestic Incidents” and are very careful on how much information we can pass on to you to safeguard ourselves. We put a lot of time and effort into these reports and are keen to pass on as much information has possible.

The crime rate is low and shows the good work our police are doing to keep us all safe in a low crime area. We are fast approaching the Christmas and New Year period when crime usually rises.

We must all be extra careful and make sure we secure our buildings, vehicles and per- sonal items, so we can remain safe and not let the criminals win. Please look after your elderly family members and neighbours.
