In the Al-quran there are many verses that explain the animals that exist in this universe, one of which is about Insect. The research on Insect diversity around the Surabaya Undaan Park aims to describe the diversity of Insects and compare the number of members of each order in the Insect class around the Surabaya Undaan Park and look for their relevance to the Qur'anic proposition about the creation of Insects. The method used in this research assignment was observation, which was to go directly to the field to catch Insects in 5 plots in the vicinity of Surabaya Undakan Park with 4 repetitions in each plot, then collect data to be identified. Based on the results of observations, collection and identification, it can be found that there are various Insects in the area. This was evidenced by the discovery of various orders from Insectas, among others: Order Lepidoptera, Order Odonata, Order Hymenoptera, Order Diptera, and Order Orthoptera. Comparison of the number of species from each order is different. The most dominant number of species is in the order of Lepidoptera which was then followed by the order Hymenoptera.

G. Talbot. Original from and digitized by National University of Singapore Libraries CATALOGUE OF THE TYPE SPECIMENS OF LEPIDOPTERA RHOPALOCERA IN THE HILL MUSEUM. By A. G. GABRIEL, F.E.S. INTRODUCTION BY G. TALBOT. It is important to know exactly where type specimens are to be found. The British Museum set an example by publishing catalogues of some of their Rhopalocera types, and we hope this will be continued. Mr. Gabriel, who was responsible for that work, has been asked by Mr. Joicey to prepare a catalogue for the Hill Museum. The original description of almost every name in this catalogue has been examined for the correct reference, and where the sex or habitat was wrongly quoted, the necessary correction has been made.

A single individual was found on the Thay- awthadangyi Island Group in the Myeik Archipelago, Tanintharyi Region. Morphological features and a maximum likelihood analysis of the 16S mitochondrial gene confirm its identity. This specimen represents the first record of D. subannulatus north of the Isthmus of Kra. • Genetic Assemblage of Sarcocystis Spp. in Malaysian Snakes
Lau et al. Parasites & Vectors 2013, 6:257 http://www.parasitesandvectors.com/content/6/1/257 RESEARCH Open Access Genetic assemblage of Sarcocystis spp. in Malaysian snakes Yee Ling Lau1*†, Phooi Yee Chang1†, Vellayan Subramaniam2, Yit Han Ng1, Rohela Mahmud1, Arine Fadzlun Ahmad1 and Mun Yik Fong1 Abstract Background: Sarcocystis species are protozoan parasites with a wide host range including snakes. Although there were several reports of Sarcocytis species in snakes, their distribution and prevalence are still not fully explored. Methods: In this study, fecal specimens of several snake species in Malaysia were examined for the presence of Sarcocystis by PCR of 18S rDNA sequence. Microscopy examination of the fecal specimens for sporocysts was not carried as it was difficult to determine the species of the infecting Sarcocystis. Results: Of the 28 snake fecal specimens, 7 were positive by PCR. BLASTn and phylogenetic analyses of the amplified 18S rDNA sequences revealed the snakes were infected with either S. nesbitti, S. singaporensis, S. zuoi or undefined Sarcocystis species. Conclusion: This study is the first to report Sarcocystis infection in a cobra, and S. nesbitti in a reticulated python. Keywords: Definitive host, Sarcocystis, Snake, 18S rDNA, Phylogenetic analysis Background cases, humans can be infected through food or drinks Sarcocystis is an intracellular protozoan belonging to the that are contaminated with feces containing sporocyst family Sarcocystidae and is closely related to medically from infected animals. In fact, a study identified sarco- important protozoa, such as Toxoplasma gondii and cystosis antibodies in 20% of Malaysians [3], and tissue Neospora caninum. Its life cycle involves intermediate autopsies showed 21 out of 100 individuals contained and definitive hosts and is based on predator–prey rela- sarcocysts [4].

High biodiversity and a variety of unique and endemic species in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park can make this area become important for intensively managed. Inventory of butterflies in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park held in two locations, on 24th February until 1st March in 2011 at Panaikang district and 8th until 12 March in 2011 at Kampoang district. The method that used is time-search. Total number of butterflies that observed is 80 species with index of diversity value is high. This is because the Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park has a lot of vegetation feed for butterflies and lots of water. Besides nectar from flowers, butterflies also need the minerals from sides of the river especially in the coral of river. Keywords: Biodiversity, butterfly, Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park. We will be happy to assist you in any way with filling out the your PPQ526 Thank You Kraig and Ken There is a distinction between import and interstate permits. The two functions/activities can not be on one permit. You are working with an import permit, thus all of the interstate functions are blocked. If you have only a permit to import you will need to apply for an interstate transport permit to get the very same species from a domestic distributor. If you have an import permit (or any other permit), you can go into your ePermits account and go to my applications, copy the application that was originally submitted, thus a Duplicate application is produced. Then go into the "Origination Point" screen, select the "Change Movement Type" button.

The conservation area is divided into three natural reserve areas (nature reserves and wildlife sanctuaries), natural conservation areas (national parks, natural tourist parks and forest parks) and new parks. Mount Tunak natural tourism park is a conservation area in West Nusa Tenggara that has a coastal forest ecosystem. Mount Tunak Natural Tourism Park has a variety of potential butterflies. butterflies are animals that have a function as pollinators in the process of flowering both flora and fauna, one of is the potential of butterflies. Butterflies are animals that have a function as pollinators in the process of flowering. Natural Resources Conservation Center West Nusa Tenggara as the manager of Mount Tunak Natural Tourism Park currently makes butterflies as one of the tourist attraction in Mount Tunak Natural Tourism Park. This study aims to determine the diversity of butterfly species and analyze the level of species diversity, species richness, evenness of species, dominance of species and similarity of species of butterflies in Mount Tunak Natural taourism Park. The data collection method used in this study is a combination of Time Search method and point transect method.
