Dorset County Council Temporary Closure of Haye Lane, Lyme Regis DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffi c Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HAYE LANE, LYME REGIS from its junction with St Georges Hill to its junction with Haye Gardens, a distance of approximately 35 metres. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along WEST SWILLETS FARM LANE, SEABOROUGH 15 metres south from the junction with West Swilletts Road to 120 metres south east from the junction to West Swillets Road, a distance of approximately 120 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 15th January 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months.
