We understand that weddings are a wonderful opportunity to bring friends and family together from afar. For this reason we have brought together the best local accommodation, including our own Garden Cottage which has been recently redecorated to the highest standards.
Garden Cottage is included free of charge for two nights as part of your venue hire!
We have also partnered with five other outstanding local providers: The Ollerod Hotel in Beaminster, Laverstock Farm near Stoke Abbott North End Farm near Chideock, The Seaside Boarding House in Burton Bradstock and Symondsbury Manor near Bridport.
Together with our partners we can accommodate over 130 people (though some of these venues may require a minimum two night stay). We can also arrange transport to make everyone’s travel arrangements as smooth and safe as possible.

Garden Cottage
The Garden Cottage is a luxury three bedroom cottage located 100m from Mapperton House, with unrivalled views over the gardens and tumbling countryside beyond. The cottage has a bridal suite, with an en suite bathroom; a second double room with super king or twin beds, and a single room. There is also an upstairs shower room, fully equipped kitchen and utility room. The house can sleep six, including a pull-out bed in the single room.
The cottage has been completely redecorated, and is furnished with a mixture of carefully selected antiques, as well as tasteful & comfortable modern furniture. Garden Cottage is only 100m from Mapperton House & Gardens.

Dating from 13th Century The Ollerod is a magical Dorset country house hotel full of character – the product of generations of history passing through its doors. Originally a clergy house, it now has its own unique style. ‘Ollerod’ is the old Dorset dialect, from the times of Thomas Hardy, for the Cowslip.
The Ollerod offers 13 individually styled hotel bedrooms from cool modern to classic English, all with ensuite bathrooms, organic toiletries and the finest Italian Frette bed linen. It can accommodate a total of 26 people. The Ollerod welcomes children, and has 2 dog friendly bedrooms.

Laverstock Farm
Laverstock Farm can be found at the end of long drive, located deep in a lost coombe in breath-taking West Dorset. It comprises six holiday cottages of different sizes and two modern shepherd’s huts all set on a working farm near Bridport. Depending on the season you will enjoy watching the chickens, ducks, pigs, goats and sheep.
Wonderfully remote and tranquil, Laverstock Farm has outstanding views over the Hardy countryside, and is perfectly located to explore the Jurassic Coastline and visit the bustling market towns of Bridport and Lyme Regis.
Laverstock Farm itself has accommodation to sleep up to a total of 30 people. There are an additional six cottages in the nearby villages of Netherbury, Broadoak and Charmouth. With these cottages this extends to a total of around 50 people.

North End Farm
North End Farm is situated in the spectacular Dorset countryside, yet only a couple of miles from the Jurassic Coast, with its spectacular beaches, pubs, restaurants. It consists of a farmhouse and surrounding buildings which together create a fantastic location for wedding groups of around 20 people, with outstanding views over the hills and valleys beyond.
The farmhouse dates from before 1600 with some parts reconstructed after a fire in 1640. Features such as an Inglenook fireplace, old bread oven and mullion windows combined with plenty of outdoor space. All properties include modern comforts such as large flat screen TVs and wifi.
North End Farmhouse provides accommodation for up to 14 people in 6 bedrooms. There is also a converted Cricket Pavilion which sleeps two plus two on the sofa bed. It has the finest views. The converted Dairy also sleeps two plus two on a sofa bed and has a large open plan kitchen, plus a living area with a marvellous woodburner.
North End Farm has a games area as well as a large downstairs room which would be perfect for pre or post wedding celebrations.

The Seaside Boarding House
A celebrated and distinct hotel, restaurant & bar nestled on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, overlooking the sweep of Lyme Bay in the beautiful and unspoilt county of Dorset.
Inspired by a mixture of classic British Edwardian hotels and the Cape Cod paintings of Edward Hopper, The Seaside Boarding House Restaurant & Bar is a unique collaboration of old and new; lovingly renovated furniture and fittings from the 1920’s to 1980’s, marine salvage, nautical paintings and then touches like a fabulous collection of Peter Blake prints on loan from art dealer Paul Stolper, that fit perfectly with the ageless decor.

Symondsbury Manor
Behind Symondsbury Manor’s mellow stone walls and mullioned windows lies a surprising discovery: a fresh, creative interior full of colour and playful charm. The atmosphere of this special place always makes for a great house party.
Up to 22 friends and family can spread across 11 bedrooms, sleeping in plump beds under white linen. Light streams into the huge open-plan living space where everyone can gather comfortably together to eat, drink and generally celebrate.
Throughout the house, there are interesting pictures, books, vintage furniture and hand printed wallpapers at every turn. Outside, there’s a couple of acres or more of gardens and orchard to explore, with chandeliers in trees and a croquet set to unpack. Beyond the old stone garden walls is the picture perfect thatched village of Symondsbury, with welcoming pub, shop and café.
