Since 2015, The Soul Jazz Rebels have already performed over 100 times in both festivals and clubs. They are going from stage to stage to share their love for music. They compose their own music faithfully to the blues and jazz roots. They keep tradition of the authentic soul jazz sound.

A frst album Chitlin' Circuit is released in 2016 (Black Stamp Music). It includes 8 originals with each member's personal style. It has been recorded totally live on a vintage tape recorder without any editing or digital trick, thus creating a very natural result. The tune Inner City Street has been chosen for a live video performance. This video reaches over 40.000 views on YouTube. JEAN VERNHERES saxophone/composer A new album is released in 2019 under the eponymous name Soul Jazz Rebels (Black Stamp Music). The 9 new originals are based on timeless tradition: blues, CYRIL AMOURETTE gospel, jazz, afro-jazz... The musicians assume their passion for a melodic jazz, with guitar/composer a great groove and a bluesy feeling. On stage as in the studio, they play frankly and spontaneously.
