908 folders This series consists largely of letters written to Webster during his first appointment as Secretary of State, from 1840 to 1843. Thirty four letters written by Daniel Webster include letters written to Peter Isaac Davis, Peter Harvey and John Taylor. A few of the letters are written to family members: Caroline, Edward and Fletcher. The series is contained in boxes numbered 1 to 8. Letters written by Daniel Webster are contained in box number eight.
