Phebe Newall the daughter of John and Martha Newall was baptised at Great Budworth Church on 31st May 1812.
James married Phoebe Newall at Davenham on 20th September 1830. (MF87/2 no.103).
They were listed as both of this parish. The signature of James and a cross by Phoebe were witnessed by Peter Hindley and John Whitlow.
By 1841 James was a bricklayer and at a later date he was a cattle dealer.
It is very likely there were no children from the marriage as in father George’s Will of 1849 they were “without issue”.
James and Phoebe are buried together in Lostock Gralam Churchyard, Northwich.
