INTRODUCTIONS M. Simmons welcomed everyone to the Storengy Local Liaison Committee (LLC). A. Leadbetter described the LLC meeting agenda. 2. PROGRESS AT STUBLACH AND WHAT IS HAPPENING ON SITE OVER THE NEXT 3 MONTHS J. O’Donnell presented an overview of the progress of the Stublach Phase 2 development together with a description of the planned work for the next three months. In Quarter 2 2018 all the main equipment has been delivered to site (compressors and dehydration units). There is now a team of close to 100 workers assembling the equipment and installing all the interconnecting pipework, and cabling. The pipeline and cables connecting the final five caverns has been laid and will the tested at the end of September. This completes all the work installing underground pipelines across the site. For the last few weeks a snubbing rig has been on site to remove equipment from inside the cavern to enable the cavern to become commercially operational. In October caverns 11, 12 and 13 will be operation. Work continues to complete the conversion to commercial operation of caverns 14 and 15 expect by the end of the year. The final five caverns (16-20) will enter commercial operation in Q4 2019. 3. STORENGY COMMUNITY FUND AL provided an update on applications for Community Funding. Lostock Green (Lach Dennis) At Lostock Green the following energy efficiency improvements have been installed: • Replacement PVC windows (3) • Replacement Door • Insulate existing External Door • Replace Light fittings with LED units and install additional sensors • Replace Existing Boiler • Upgrade Boiler Management system and monitoring controls K O’Donoghue was asked if she could send photographs of the improvements to Storengy Lostock Gralam Community Centre At Lostock Gralam the following energy efficiency improvements have been installed: Storengy UK Limited King street, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 7SE Tel: 00 44 1606 814 680 – Fax: 00 44 1606 4 44 67 Registered in England 6311795 • Fire Door • Loft Insulation • LED Lighting • Ventilation Fans • Emergency Exit lighting L Sandison was asked if she could send photographs of the improvements to Storengy. Byley Village Hall At Byley the following energy efficiency improvements have been installed: • Solar Panels • Battery Storage The installation of the solar panels and battery storage has been published in the Middlewich Guardian. Rudheath Youth Centre At Rudheath they are in the process of installing LED lighting in the Youth Centre. Allostock Village Hall At Allostock they are in the process of making an application for upgrading of their lighting to LED bulbs and fittings. F StiLL to apply to Storengy for funding. 4. OPEN FORUM No further questions were raised. 5. DATE AND LOCATION OF THE NEXT MEETING 4.00 pm on the 21 February 2019 at the Stublach Site. Post Meeting Note At the next meeting the focus will be on any savings the building improvements are delivering. Storengy would like to encourage the wider community to adopt where applicable energy improvements in their own homes. We would like to discuss your ideas on how best to communicate the energy efficiency message more widely.
