SureMarkTM customers know that they can rely upon the dependability, high performance, and high function offered by SureMark models. They provide POS users with significant improvements in printing speed, quiet operation, open interfaces, and exceptional usability -- all of which enable retailers to attract and retain customers, as well as streamline their operations. Available in an iron gray cover color, the new dual-station fiscal printer Model KC4 is based on the non-fiscal Model TI4 printer, and offers a lower-cost alternative to current three-station fiscal printers. It includes a thermal customer receipt station, an impact document insert station, and 1 GB flash memory Electronic Journal as standard features. The Electronic Journal capability is especially noteworthy since it enables the retailer to efficiently manage journal data, with reduced media and journal storage requirements. The new model has a compact footprint and was designed to integrate with IBM systems as well as competitive systems via standard USB and RS-232 interfaces. Model KC4 will be approved by government agencies for use in fiscal printing solutions in Venezuela upon completion of homologation. Key prerequisites IBM Latin America Hardware Announcement LG10-0212 IBM is a registered trademark of International Business Machines Corporation 1 Model KC4 attaches to IBM SurePOSTM 100, 300, 500, and 700 Series; and AnyPlace Kiosk via non-powered USB or RS-232 interfaces (standard with each Model KC4 printer).
