Employees 1-10 Headquarters PO Box 5271 Gainesville, FL 32601 Type Privately Held Founded 2007 Website www.ToneRite.com Key Executives Augi Lye, Inventor Valerie Sheehan, President & CEO History For centuries, well-versed musicians and luthiers have acknowledged the importance of playing instruments regularly to achieve and maintain their optimum sound. However, when accomplished musician and engineer Agapitus “Augi” Lye purchased a new cello, he lacked the time necessary to adequately play-in the instrument. Utilizing his knowledge of acoustical physics and leaning on his engineering background, Lye built a prototype that would become the ToneRite. Surprised by the tonal improvements that had occurred in Lye’s cello in such a short time his luthier, fellow musicians and professionals urged him to continue his research and it was from his exploration that ToneRite was born. Through their ambitious studies of acoustical physics, advanced signal processing, engineering, and practiced musicians, the ToneRite team have spent years perfecting the science of play-in. Finally, by uniting tradition with technology, ToneRite has collaborated with luthiers and musicians from around the world to conduct meticulous research of the play-in process. This dedication to their field’s advancement has brought the ToneRite play-in device to fruition. The ToneRite Signature® was the first commercially available product from ToneRite Inc. in early 2007. Currently, ToneRite Inc. manufactures nine different ToneRite models for a variety of string instruments. ToneRite Inc. has just released the first model in their new percussion line, ToneRite for drums. 3 Core Values Personal Entrepreneurship and Accountability - Our employees are empowered to take ownership. [email protected] 5 THE WORLD'S FIRST AND PREMIER AUTOMATIC PLAY-IN DEVICE Now Available for String Instruments and Drums! Acoustic, Electric, and Bass Guitar Mandolin, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass & Ukulele Percussion Instrument: Drum 6 The ToneRite PRODUCT AND PROCESS WORKS IN TWO SIMPLE STEPS First, to unlock the maximum potential of your instrument… The play-in de-dampening process is a well-known phenomenon that occurs when wood instruments are played regularly for many years. Through on-going research, ToneRite has developed automatic play-in technology that can rapidly and safely take your instrument to its highest potential in less than a week. The ToneRite is nearly silent, lasts a lifetime, and will improve your instruments tone, volume and playability whenever you are not playing it yourself. Second, to keep your instrument at its best… The ToneRite is also great for keeping your instrument in top playing shape. As instruments go un-played they begin to build up a natural tension which results in the gradual loss of tonal quality. Continual use of the ToneRite allows your instrument to be ready for you whenever you have the inspiration to play. Your instrument is at its best, all the time. THE SECRET BEHIND THE TONERITE IS its ability to (continually) produce and efficiently transfer vibrational energy into an instrument, safely recreating and magnifying the physics that occur naturally while playing. This stimulation produces a change to the integrated components within an instrument and increases their ability to resonate together as a whole. The result is added volume and instruments that are easier to play with a sound that is more full and balanced. Not only will your instrument sound better but the notes themselves will come easier, allowing you to play more difficult passages with less fatigue. NOT ONLY ENHANCING THE SOUND OF YOUR INSTRUMENT - BUT REVOLUTIONIZING IT. 7 The ToneRite has been designed for musicians who are interested in getting the most out of their instruments and having their instrument ready to play at a moment’s notice. Each instrument is a unique and prized possession of its owner and that keeping them sounding their best instills a sense of pride and helps to foster the relationship that forms between instrument and player. The Play-in Process Relieving tension allows the instrument to vibrate freely. As a result, your instrument becomes incredibly responsive, problem notes improve, less bow pressure or fretting pressure is required, the sound comes more quickly with less effort, and the overall quality of tone improves. The ToneRite® mounts on the bridge for violins, violas, cellos, and the double bass and on the strings for guitars, bass guitars, mandolins, and ukuleles. In this manner, the ToneRite® naturally transfers vibrations through the bridge and into the instrument; just as the strings do when you play. The amplitude and frequency have been optimized to achieve greater results than playing yourself, while providing nearly silent operation. The play-in process can be accelerated and you should see moderate to large gains in tone, balance, resonance, and playability. A lot of older instruments really score well in increasing the ‘playability,’ or how easy a note is to pull from your instrument. A lighter touch, more dynamic range, etc. These effects while lasting, are not entirely permanent. It is well known that many times after a gig, an instrument sounds better than before or during. The simple fact is that we have found the ToneRite® can have your instrument ‘warmed up’ and ready to go whenever you are. 8 Artist Endorsements Please follow this link to watch our artist endorsement video. "I tested the ToneRite device on my new kit from the Pearl Reference Series line and really liked the results. These drums were already the best sounding drums I had played on over these 35 years, after having played the best drums on the market already. But the immediate improvement in tone was really amazing after my first 3 days of using the device on my 22" main kick drum. The most impressive moment for me however was after leaving the device on my Masterworks snare drum for 2 full days. This drum was already an amazing sounding, very rich, woody drum with huge volume. A fully top of the line instrument. I came into my studio that afternoon to record another track for a client and was actually shocked by what I not only heard but also felt from this snare drum. The tone had completely changed, the drum became more focused and had a tighter more aggressive sound, the volume had decreased due to the overtones being more in control.

Edition CD Digipak (with special packaging), 180g 2 LP Gatefold Edition (incl. etching on side 4 and the album on CD) and as Digital Album Release Date: March 22nd, 2019 The Mute Gods deliver hard-hitting message on future of the planet in Atheists and Believers Third album from Nick Beggs (Steven Wilson and Steve Hackett), Roger King (Steve Hackett) and Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats and The Sea Within) features guest appearances from Alex Lifeson, guitarist with Rush, drummer Craig Blundell (Frost* and Steven Wilson) and multi-instrumentalist Rob Townsend (Steve Hackett). As global populism continues to lead humanity down sinister, self-serving alleyways and truth is an irrelevance, does anyone have the capability of saving this planet? Have humans forgotten their responsibilities to each other, especially to those millions of people left homeless and displaced by conflict, while arms sales to warmongering nations carry on abated? These are some of the powerful themes that The Mute Gods put under the spotlight on Atheists and Believers . This is the third album in a trilogy of pulsating, turbulent rock compositions, that delves even deeper into the machinations that are driving mankind further towards an abyss of its own making. The metal-edged, menacing wake-up calls to humanity are tempered by three gentler, more sentimental compositions in which Beggs reflects on love and loss, mortality and marriage. “The album’s key message is that we now empower stupid people and don’t listen to educated, informed experts anymore because truth is no longer fashionable,” explains Beggs.

ttthethe aristocrats [boing ] * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The debut album from instrumental rock/fusion’s rowdy new power trio: Guitarist Guthrie Govan, bassist Bryan Beller, and drummer Marco Minnemann. Catalog: BM -00001 * Street Date: Sept ember 13 , 2011 * UPC: 013964643466 The Aristocrats is the eponymous debut album from instrumental rock/fusion’s rowdy new power trio featuring guitarist Guthrie Govan (Asia/GPS, Dizzee Rascal) bassist Bryan Beller (Steve Vai, Dethklok, Mike Keneally), and drummer Marco Minnemann (Adrian Belew, UKZ, Necrophagist). Featuring three compositions from each band member, the album showcases a uniquely explosive band chemistry, translating each individual’s well-known virtuosity into an aggressive, melodic, and sometimes even cheeky group dynamic…in which anything goes. The band was formed practically by demand after a wildly enthusiastic response to a single performance at The Anaheim Bass Bash during the Winter NAMM show in January. With just one rehearsal the night before the gig, the trio unexpectedly floored the audience – and themselves – with near-telepathic interplay and boundless musical energy, leaving heads shaking in disbelief that it was their very first gig. “The chemistry was so great,” recalls Govan, who was just featured on the cover of Guitar Player , “that when we came offstage we all said to each other, ‘This is working. We should record this.’” Not content simply to rush together a remote recording, each far-flung band member left their homes (outside London; Nashville, TN; southern California) to meet in a Chicago studio and track the record in person, which took just under two weeks. The music became a melting pot of their respective influences, ranging from ’70s fusion (Return To Forever) to prog (King Crimson, UK) to instrumental rock (Vai, Satriani) to groove metal (Rage Against The Machine) to just plain absurdity (Frank Zappa).

Captured in six different locations in five countries on three different continents during the band’s 100+ show Culture Clash World Tour, it showcases The Aristocrats in full flight: Virtuosic, melodic, spontaneous, outrageous, and still having more fun than any group of world touring muzos has any right to have. “Every time we play a song live, it seems to evolve slightly,” says Govan. “However hard we might try to capture definitive versions in the studio, the true nature of any given composition inevitably reveals itself during the subsequent touring process, mutating incrementally from one night to the next as we do our best to maintain the element of spontaneity and encourage the occurrence of little musical ’accidents.’” While the music evolved and the audiences made each show unforgettable, the live recording process was anything but smooth. “The panoply of technical pitfalls that ensued reached a certain comic level of absurdity,” Beller remembers. “The crowds were unremittingly awesome, only to be rivaled in ferocity by the gremlins in each location.” So the project became a Frank Zappa-style live compilation by necessity, which gave it a rollicking international flavor – a culture clash after all.

  • Tres Caballeros Release
THE ARISTOCRATS BIO MATERIALS “More fun than fusion has any right to be.” – Rhythm Magazine (UK) Official Tres Caballeros Tour Bio (shorter current version - for complete longer bio, scroll down) Fresh off their wildly successful 2013-2014 Culture Clash world tour, The Aristocrats – by any measure the hottest new band in instrumental rock/fusion today – rewrote their own rules for their third studio album, Tres Caballeros, which is slated for release in late June. After two fairly raw trio albums, guitarist Guthrie Govan (Steven Wilson, Asia/GPS), bassist Bryan Beller (Joe Satriani, Dethklok) and drummer Marco Minnemann (Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani) set up camp at legendary Sunset Sound studios in Hollywood, CA, where Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and Van Halen all recorded landmark albums. The result: Nine new compositions of greater sonic depth and breadth than ever before, with unique textures and lush layering augmenting the band’s preternatural ability to improvise both individually and as a group at the highest levels possible. But not to worry – it’s all still tempered with a steadfast refusal to take themselves too seriously, and The Aristocrats are still having more fun than a fusion band has any right to have. “We’ve learned a lot since we started this band – four years, three studio albums, two live DVDs and about a billion notes ago! – and I think our latest offering reflects this in all kinds of ways,” says guitarist Guthrie Govan. “The decision to road-test our new material in front of a live audience before commencing the recording process; the choice to record in a studio which had some thoroughly inspiring rock'n'roll "mojo"; our sudden urge to become more bold and experimental with overdubs rather than feeling any pressure to record exclusively in a strict “trio” format… all of this has had some kind of positive effect on the way the new record came out.
