Which point do you recommend about the shop? ??The clothes are elegant but it’s not so formal. They are, rather, casual and stylish! Q3. You look really casual every day, don’t you!? ??You flatter me :-) Setting WORK&MILITARY as the main concept, RAGEBLUE suggests “cross edge style”that mixes all kind of styles beyond the frameworks. Besides, RAGEBLUE is particular about materials and details, and also adopts “unaffected comfortableness”designed by the sense of the times. Q.Where is your favorite place in Tokyo? ??Krispy Kreme Dounuts Shinjuku This store was born in America. Now, it is very popular not only in America, but also in Japan. There is a long line in front of the store almost every day. Its doughnuts are very delicious, so it is worth waiting for buying doughnuts. This is the belonging of the friend. 5 Q. Where is your favorite place in Tokyo? ??Well, I like Shimokitazawa. There are many used clothes shops, general stores there. The shops are in back street, and every time I find another way or another shop. The crepe store is very good because cream in the crape is hearty. Also there are many cafes so when you are tired walking, stay there and make you relaxed. This is the photo of the foot of the friend Q. Where is your favorite place in Tokyo? ??I like “sotomeshiya Woody Notes” in Hachiouzi”. This restaurant was established in 1998. There are a course of pasta and individual dishes of Western foods. There are dried flower arrangement and a dart corner in this shop. And the staff sometimes do the live concert there. Answer of Quiz Left : Giraffe, Center : Orangutan, Right Ostrich I work at Izakaya, A Japanese dining bar, Irohanihoheto in Hachiouji. Generally speaking, Izakaya has high salary compared with other food restaurant, so I ’ll introduce my works in it. My salary is 950 yen per an hour and I usually work there 3 times in a week and each time I work 5~7 hours, so I can earn 70~80 thousand yen in a month. What is the kind of works? Usually, there are two types of works. I’ll show you. 1. Hall The main work is to serve dishes and drinks. Sometimes you make some simple dishes or cocktails. There are some conversations with customer because they feel good by drinking. But sometimes, we are claimed to our mistake… 2. Kitchen The main work is to make dishes. You are needed to make them quick and delicious. If you like cooking, it is good for you. Your cooking skill must develop. To do both of them, it is no matter whether you have experience of part-time job or not. You don’t have to be afraid of doing that if you had no experience because senior fellow worker will teach you calmly, and you can learn everything from them. My impression of working at Izakaya is that I’m very enjoying working there because there are good fellow worker and we can see smile of customer. It is one of joy to work. You can challenge it and I very recommend you to work at Izakaya. 11 OUR HOME TOWN We love our home town. There are many place to see, many kinds of foods…. So we want you to visit our country!! Come in, and you will be excited!! 12 TOKYO Where I’ve grown up. Isn’t there too much information about Tokyo? In t his article, I give different stories about Tokyo related to my experience. POLITICS Tokyo is the center of politics in Japan. You will be able to see the Diet, Embassy, Supreme court etc. ALSO, Tokyo Metropolitan Government is the one of the biggest building in Tokyo. If you come to Tokyo, you should see them once. The Diet: We, students in Tokyo go to see it for school trip, when we are third or forth grade. When I go in, the inside was very magnificent. It was different from the view which we watch in TV. You should go there once and see figures of Japanese historic politicians. University of the United Nations: In Chuo university, there are interns of this university. The students who worked for here had good estimation last year, so we can work this year at last. I want to visit here at no distant date. TRADITION You might think that there are not so many traditional places in Tokyo. Yes we have!!!! I pick up some of them this time. All of them are my favorite place. The atmosphere, the buildings are very nice. 13 The imperial Palace: This is Japanese old castle in Edo period. Now Imperial majesty is living. I often go and cycling here. Many foreigners run around in weekends. It is about 3 kilometers. But to tell the truth running around here do very bad their health, because they get a lot of exhaust gas from the road. Yanaka Ginza: This is one of the traditional place. The atmosphere is unique, which the old parts of Japan have. Vital and active inhabitants will let visitors enjoy. There are cheep Japanese stile hotels, so some foreigners may stay here. ENTERTAMENT What do you want to do in this summer?? I tell you some places which I want you to go. Don’t go back to your hometown without seeing these stores!!!! ALSO, I recommend foods in Tokyo. Let’s enjoy your staying. Village/Vanguard: This is “the exciting book store”. When you come into the shop, many funny books and sundries are choked up and they will be waiting for you!! I don’t be tired of staying there because there are too many things to look at. If you like funny, joking things such as “snot chocolate” or “medicine which you can love” please visit here!!! G INTAKO: One of the famous TAKOYAKI shops in Tokyo. But in my opinion, GINTAKO is the best!!!! Have you ever eaten takoyaki in festivals?? Maybe you taste it definitely different from others. 14 While outside of it is crispy because they are fried, inside of it is juicy and soft. I recommend this shop with confidently. 15 ~traditional foods~ At first, the most famous traditional food in Aichi is miso katsu. There is miso katsu in the convenience store and the diner and the family restaurant in Aichi.
