I'm a book geek and a car geek, with a love of Lamborghini going back to the late 1970's. First: this is a heavy, robust tome of 360 pages. The cover is luxuriant and well bound, the pages are glossy and thick, and the photos are clear and plentiful. Second: the content matches the appearance. This is not a one and done read... I can see myself not only reading this cover to cover, but using it for reference material and evening reminiscing. Valentino has experienced a life well lived and it has been excellently documented in both detail and warmth here. While I have never met him, I did for a while have a Gallardo with his autograph on the engine bay. In that car, I felt surrounded by legend, luxury, and power. Very high quality story of Valentino Lamborghini early historyBy CustomerI own quite a few books on Lamborghini but this ones ranks as one of the very best, certainly of those published in recent years. To read what he experienced would have been very fascinating. Or a English language biography on . Hopefully that will happen someday soon. This book covers nicely on those two personalities along with many other facets of Lamborghini from the very start thru 2013.As mentioned in another review this is much more than a book on Vale; although his insights add a true "insiders" view on the company from the late 60's onward.A very well-written book with fantastic photographs. To be enjoyed!
