ALL-TERRAIN DRIVING WITH 3 MODES In true Peugeot tradition, the 4008 combines remarkable comfort levels with driving behaviour of the highest standard. This multi-purpose approach is partly due to superior road handling as well as the different transmission modes that are available. The 4WD mode on Feline models is not just for off-roading. The interaction between front and rear wheel axle units is automatically managed, guaranteeing optimum road-holding in all circumstances. On a good quality, tar-sealed road with a dry surface, you can switch to 2WD and optimise both the handling and fuel consumption of your 4008 at the same time. Finally, in situations where road-holding is reduced (e.g. rain or dirt), simply select the LOCK mode. This system transmits up to 1.5 times more grip to the rear wheels than 4WD mode, helping you to overcome these challenges at low speed. AN AESTHETIC OF ADVENTURE One look at the Peugeot 4008 tells you it has one thing on its mind. Bold lines hint at a daring personality and a true all-terrain capability. The boot has a volume of 384 litres which can be increased to 1219 litres once the rear seats are folded down. 2 3 SAFETY ESP AND HILL ASSIST FUNCTION The 4008 is quipped with the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) system, including an anti-slip function as well as a Hill Assist function. The latter automatically maintains the brake temporarily (for 2 seconds) when the vehicle is on a gradient. LIGHTS AND VISIBILITY The 4008 is also equipped with an automatic lighting function which adjusts to ambient light conditions, front fog lamps and an electronic headlight height adjustment function. * Available on Feline 4x4 model only.
