Although they can, at their own expense, return to participate in the Class year Commencement ceremonies, they will not formally receive their degrees until August, which could prevent those students from sitting for bar exams in the summer.) Common Info Term A single‐semester exchange is preferred but in exceptional circumstances and for compelling reasons we can consider a student request to attend for an entire year. Credits earned will transfer to Notre Dame and will count toward degree requirements, but any grades earned in these courses will not count in a student’s overall GPA calculation at Notre Grades and credit Dame. Tuition Participating students will continue to pay their regular tuition to Notre Dame; no tuition will be due to the exchange school. Scholarship and The merit scholarship that was awarded to the student for their study at Notre Dame will also be available to them while abroad, but the available student loan amounts will be adjusted to Financial Aid account for travel expenses and cost of living differences.
