Subject: 2 Case Number: 15-001382 and 15-001400 Details: On January 28, 2015 at 1218 p.m., officers responded to the Bank of the West at 19006 Brookhurst Street regarding a bank that just occurred. The suspect entered the bank and went up to a teller station. The suspect passed a note which stated he has a gun, however no gun was seen. The suspect was given an unknown amount of cash and left the location on foot in an unknown direction. No vehicle was seen. The suspect is described as a male white, mid 40’s, dark hair, 6’0” 230-250 lbs, wearing a pink dress shirt.

At 4:58 PM, Officers responded to a report of a robbery at US Bank located at 19900 Beach Blvd. A male suspect with a similar physical description as the earlier robbery (but with a different shirt) entered the bank and passed a similar note. After reading the note, the teller gave the suspect cash and the suspect left the bank. As with the first robbery, no gun or suspect vehicle was seen.

This appears to be the same suspect who robbed the Huntington Beach Citibank branch at 20981 Magnolia Street in December 2014.

The suspect has been linked to several robberies in the area and nick named by the FBI as the “Rolled Up Sleeves Bandit”.
