The marine terminal facilities will include the following main elements: wharf, ship loader, silos and concentrate handling systems, as well as an access road to the wharf for operational and maintenance purposes. Furthermore, as the Arianne Phosphate mining company has already expressed its intention to use this wharf on the north shore of the Saguenay River to move the produced phosphate concentrate toward external markets, Port of Saguenay will take charge of all handling, from unloading the trucks into the storage silos to the loading of the ships.
