Izbrali smo dve jami v flišu (Poljanska buža in Kubik) in pet v apnencu (Pečina v Radotah, Pečina pri Kavičičah, Kraljičevka, Jama Čebina, Vipavska jama). Mihelčič A. Primerjava favne izbranih jam v jugozahodni Sloveniji. Jure Jugovic Keywords: troglobionts, cave fauna, list of taxa, southwestern Slovenia Abstract: In our research we have prepared a list of taxa and estimated the differences in subterranean fauna of seven caves in suthwestern Slovenia, two in flysch (Poljanska buža, Kubik) and five in limestone (Pečina v Radotah, Pečina pri Kavčičah, Jama Čebina, Kraljičevka, Vipavska jama) region. We observed number of troglobionts related with different parameters (length and depth, distance from the entrance, the presence of water). In our study we did analyses of representation of fauna in the individual caves, correlation lenght and depth with number of taxa, frequency of occurrence and number of taxa in relation to the distance from the entrance. We notice that different types of cave habitats and different type of rock host different faunal assemblages. Faunal assemblages are more similar in caves located closer such as those located far. We notice that number of troglobionts increases with the length and depth of the cave. We also compered our results with results from Polak et. al. (2012). Despite the differences in data collection methodology, we obtained similar conclusions. Mihelčič A. Primerjava favne izbranih jam v jugozahodni Sloveniji. Molluscs of the Dürrenstein Wilderness Area S a b i n e F ISCHER & M i c h a e l D UDA Abstract: Research in the Dürrenstein Wilderness Area (DWA) in the southwest of Lower Austria is mainly concerned with the inventory of flora, fauna and habitats, interdisciplinary monitoring and studies on ecological disturbances and process dynamics. During a four-year qualitative study of non-marine molluscs, 96 sites within the DWA and nearby nature reserves were sampled in cooperation with the “Alpine Land Snails Working Group” located at the Natural History Museum of Vienna. Altogether, 84 taxa were recorded (72 land snails, 12 water snails and mussels) including four endemics and seven species listed in the Austrian Red List of Molluscs. A reference collection (empty shells) of molluscs, which is stored at the DWA administration, was created. This project was the first systematic survey of mollusc fauna in the DWA. Further sampling might provide additional information in the future, particularly for Hydrobiidae in springs and caves, where detailed analyses (e.g. anatomical and genetic) are needed. The check list includes 216 species. The map of collecting localities is presented. Key words: Lepidoptera, Noctuidae, Erebidae, Asia, Kazakhstan, Saur, fauna. INTRODUCTION The fauna of noctuoid moths (the families Erebidae and Noctuidae) of Kazakhstan is still poorly studied. Only the fauna of West Kazakhstan has been studied satisfactorily (Gorbunov 2011). On the faunas of other parts of the country, only fragmentary data are published (Lederer, 1853; 1855; Aibasov & Zhdanko 1982; Hacker & Peks 1990; Lehmann et al. 1998; Benedek & Bálint 2009; 2013; Korb 2013). In contrast to the West Kazakhstan, the fauna of noctuid moths of East Kazakhstan was studied inadequately.

A new species of the Lygephila vicioides (Hampson, 1926) species- group from Nepal (Lepidoptera, Erebidae, Toxocampinae). Entomofauna carpathica, 30(1): 45-52. Abstract: A new species of the Lygephila vicioides (Hampson, 1926) species-group, L. pidmanulapidvela sp. n. (Nepal), is described. A diagnostic comparison is made with L. vicioides. The male genitalia of the holotype of L. vicioides, the male genitalia of the holotype of Lygephila robusta Babics & Ronkay, 2009 are illustrated for the first time; the female genitalia of L. vicioides are correctly illustrated for the first time. The comparison of the holotypes of L. vicioides and L. robusta revealed their conspecificity, therefore L. robusta is treated here as synonym of L. vicioides, syn. n. Key words: Erebidae, Toxocampinae, Lygephila, Lygephila vicioides species-group, new synonymy, new species, Nepal INTRODUCTION Present paper is a continuation of the series of articles dealing with the taxonomy of the genus Lygephila started by the author in 2013 (PEKARSKY 2013, 2014, 2016a, 2016b, 2016c, 2016d and 2017). The detailed study of the L. vicioides (Hampson, 1926) lineage revealed the fact that the type series of L. robusta comprised two closely related species. The study of the holotype of L. robusta undoubtedly pointed out the conspecificity of this specimen with the holotype of L. vicioides and a number of L. vicioides specimens were found within the paratypes of L.

For every individual species, that is extant in every reported cave and gallery, as well as the authors who have made the report, is included. New data, most recently gathered are re ported as well. Several species are new for the cave fauna of Bulgaria, some others are all together new to the caves. One species is new for the Bulgarian fauna. The number of the established up until now Lepidoptera species in the caves and galleries in Bulgaria is 32. Introduction For a considerable length of time the Bulgarian cave fauna has been of interest to many researchers, both Bulgarians and foreign. Although considerable data concerning the fauna of Lepidoptera of the caves and galleries in Bulgaria exists, having been published in nu merous articles, up until now only one study (Skalski , 1972) concerns the Lepidoptera cave fauna.

(s. KITCHING & RAWLINS, 1998) Leucaniinae subfam. stat. nov.

  • Molluscan Fauna of the Javoříčský Karst (Czech Republic, Central Moravia)
MALAKOLÓGIAI TÁJÉKOZTATÓ MALACOLOGICAL NEWSLETTER 2002 20: 93–105 Molluscan fauna of the Javoříčský Karst (Czech Republic, central Moravia) J. Č. Hlaváč Abstract: Data about Recent molluscan fauna of the Javoříčský Karst are given. Altogether 77 species (76 species of Gastropoda, 1 species of Bivalvia) were recorded. Molluscan fauna is dominated by wood- land communities occurring in various types of woodland habitats while elements of open grounds and aquatic habitats are poorly represented. Of prime importance is the occurrence of the Alpine and Carpathian elements at the same place as well as the records of sensitive woodland species Bulgarica cana and overlooked slug Deroceras turcicum, both new ones for the area of the Javoříčský Karst. The list of recorded molluscs is enclosed in this paper as well as the quadrangle mapping of important speci- es Orcula dolium and Itala ornata. Due to the confusion of epilithic species Chondrina avenacea, report- ed from the area studied in the end of 19th century, the distributions of Chondrina clienta and Chondrina avenacea in the Czech Republic are shortly commented and compared in the form of quadrangle maps. Key words: Czech Republic, Javoříčský Karst, list of species, Orcula dolium, Itala ornata, quadrangle mapping Introduction Several karst areas are present in the Czech Republic. Among them, the Bohemian Karst and Moravian Karst represent a typically developed karst phenomenon. Other, generally small karstic areas show poorly or partly developed karst phenomenon. The fragmentarily developed karst phenomenon is mostly characterised by subterranean features while surface ones are often absent. Although the Javoříčský Karst shows fragmentarily developed karst phenomenon, its molluscan fauna is rather varied, much like the malacofauna of the Bohemian or Moravian Karst.

  • Verzeichnis Der Bisher Aus Der Steiermark Nachgewiesenen Schnecken- Und Muschel-Arten (Moll., Gastropoda Und Bivalvia)
©Landesmuseum Joanneum Graz, Austria, download unter www.biologiezentrum.at Mitt. Abt. Zool. Landesmus. Joanneum Jg. 5, H. 3 S. 111—126 Graz 1976 Verzeichnis der bisher aus der Steiermark nachgewiesenen Schnecken- und Muschel-Arten (Moll., Gastropoda und Bivalvia) Von Erich KREISSL Inhalt: Verzeichnis aller bisher aus der Steiermark nachgewiesenen Schnecken- und Muschelarten, abgestimmt mit der „Artenliste Mollusca" von „ZOODAT — Tiergeographische Datenbank Österreichs". Abstract: List of all ppecies of snails (Gastropoda) and mussels (Bivalvia) which have been known from Styria until now, tuned to the list of Austrian species from „ZOODAT" (Zoo_ geographical bank of data of Austria).
