Lady Eagles in Harper Tournament by Coach Bobby Lumpkins

The Junction Lady Eagle Varsity Basketball Team played in the Harper Basketball Tournament this past week- end. Junction lost to Harper by a score of 16 to 45, and to Medina by a score of 30 Freshman Dontay Foy (32) battles on the boards Justin Brown (25) finds himself open and takes Phillip Guzman (20) lofts a shot from just outside to 43. During the game with Fredericksburg JV, Lawhon scored 9 points, while Whitworth and Lumpkins scored 8 apiece. The Lady Eagles fin- ished the tournament in third place, behind the host Lady Longhorns and the Medina Lady Bobcats. Lawhon was named to the All-Tournament Team. The Lady Eagles will play in the Hill Country Classic Basketball Tournament in Mason, December 9 - 11.
