GOOD WORK DONE BY RPF/ECOR FOR THE PERIOD FROM 16-03-2021 TO 31-03-2021

1. On 18.03.2021 at about 09.10 hrs one passenger namely Sunil Kumar Behera, aged 20 yrs, S/O- Bijaya Kumar Nayak, R/O- Udayapur, PS- Bari, Dist- Jajpur, having PNR No-6810710249 ex BBS to SC in T/No- 07015 (BBS-SC) Visakha Exp reported at RPF/Post/ that he has boarded and occupied his allotted berth No- 64, coach B/4 in T/No-07015 (BBS-SC) Visakha Exp and kept his luggage under the berth. After that he got down from the train to purchase snakes & water bottle but in the mean time train started so he unable to boarded & his black color bag containing clothes & some personal documents total valued Rs. 2000/- over carried in the said train. Accordingly the matter was informed to RPF Post KUR/BALU to recover the same. Subsequently, the said bag was retrieved by CT- D.N. Sahoo of RPF Post BALU and the bag was send by T/No-07016 exp to RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar and the same was collected and handed over to the victim/passenger with proper acknowledgement. (Value Rs- 2000/- approx).

2. On dated 18.03.2021 at about 13.50 hrs on duty luggage scanner staff namely L/C RPSF M. Jena noticed one mobile phone REDMI MI-2) was laying near luggage scanner machine. Immediately she made frequent announcement through Railway PA system. After sometime one person namely Karuna Barnwal, aged-24 yrs, D/o- Ranjit Kumar Barnwal, R/o- MH street, PS-South Asansol, Dist-Bardhaman (WB) attended at enquiry counter and claimed her mobile. She stated that, she came to with her family for travelling in train No.08419 (PUI-JYG) Spl having PNR No.614-6845567, Ex.PUI- Asansol in coach No.S-9 on berth No. 65 to 72 and after boarded in the said train she came to know that her mobile phone was missing. Subsequently she heard announcement regarding recovery of one mobile phone valued Rs.10000/- by RPF staff. After due verification the retrieved mobile phone was handed over to her with proper acknowledgement. She appreciated to on duty RPF staff of Puri for their devotion and honesty. Value:-Rs10000/-.

3. On dated 18.03.2021 at about 08.45 hrs while conducting checking at circulating area of Puri Railway station by ASI K.P Pani and Constable 4854 R.K Patra of RPF /Post/Puri noticed one mobile phone (OPPO A-7) was lying in Yatri Mandap as unclaimed condition. On asking nearby nobody came forward to claim the same. In the mean time a phone call was received on that mobile. The person who made call stated that his mobile (OOPO-A-7) is belongs to him and the same was missing somewhere. Then the above named duty officer gave his identity and told him to come RPF/Post/Puri with legal documents. Subsequently after sometime the owner of the mobile namely Ashok Jena, aged-38 yrs, S/o- Digamber Jena, Vill- Jamalagoda, Ps-Gadishagada, Dist-PURI (Odisha) attended RPF/Post/Puri and stated that he come to Puri Railway Station to book railway journey ticket from reservation counter. After conducting enquiry from reservation counter he came to know that his mobile phone is missing. Hence, he made contact on his number through his friend’s mobile and came to know that RPF/staff found his mobile. The retrieved mobile phone valued Rs.14000/- was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement. He appreciated to on duty RPF staff for their swift follow up action. Value:-Rs.14000/-.

4. On 19.03.2021, SIPF/P C Panda of CIB/OP/Jajpur Keonjhar road along with HC-4713 S.K.Tripathy of CIB unit/Khurda road made observation/ secret watch against human trafficking at Khurda road Railway station PF area, circulating area and in T/No-02704, 02088, 02875 02874, 08496 05929 & 02822 spl. During which at about 15.15hrs,they rescued one minor boy namely Yeasmul, age-14yrs, S/O- Late JiyemSekh, R/O- Sujapur, Nazirpur, PS- Kalia Chak, Dist-Malda, from T/No-05929 TBM-NTSK spl from PF no-2 of Khurda Road railway station. On being asked he stated that he was travelling from Vijiyawada to Malda alone and no any family member is travelling with him. Further he stated that he is working/learning stitching work at Vijayawada in a company meant for tailoring. But he has no idea about the company name and area of Vijayawada where he is working. He has no travelling authority with him. Hence he was rescued and information was given to PC/RPF/Khurda road. On the assistance of SIPF/P.K.Pani of RPF/Post/Khurda road, the rescued child was handed over to Miss Padmini Kumari Bisoyi team member of Society for Children (SOCH) Khurda road with proper acknowledgement after making a station Diary entry at SMR/ Khurda road vide No.857/D dt 19-03-2021 and proper information to GRPS/Khurda road.

5. On dt 18.03.2021, ASI S.K.Patel conducted drive and checking at Kantabanji railway station. during the checking at about 23.30 hrs noticed one girl aged about 18 yrs sitting alone on the bench and crying near the TRKR end . On being asked she disclosed her name and address as Namita Nag Aged 18 yrs D/O- Govind Nag R/O-Devbalouda, Ward No.30,Sagarpara, PS- Bhilai Charoda, Dist- Durg(CG) and she came to Raipur for marketing with her friend but her friend were left her at Raipur and she have no money, so she came to Raipur railway station for going to his village by any train but he mistakenly boarded in T/No.08517 and detrained at Kantabanji railway station. Then ASI S.K Patel rescued the girl made friendly surrounding with her and bring to SM office Kantabanji and provided food , drinking water etc and information was given to her father namely Govind Nag, Age-49 Yrs, S/O- Late Maheswar Nag R/O-Devbalouda, Ward No.30,Sagarpara, PS- Bhilai Charoda, Dist- Durg(CG) over phone for further necessary action. Then the rescued girl has been sheltered at ladies waiting hall of KBJ railway station under guarding of ladies GRPS staffs KBJ. In this connection made station Diary entry at KBJ railway station vide No.1350, Dtd.19.03.2021. Further as per information at 10.30 hrs of dtd.19.03.2021 father of rescued girl attended RP/Post/Kantabanji and after due verification and proper acknowledgement the rescued girl was handed over to her father at 11.00 hrs of Dtd.19.03.2021 in presence of on duty SM/Kantabanji and rescued girl elder brother namely Chhatrpal Nag and available witness. In this connection another station Dairy entry made by SM/Kantabhanji vide No.1355, Dtd.19.03.2021.Due to proactive work of S.K. Patel, ASI/RPF/Kantabhanji, the girl has been safe form future unavoidable untoward incident of crime against women for which father of the rescued girl highly appreciated the work of RPF/Kantabhanji.

6. On 19.03.2021 at about 18.26 hrs ASI/D.K.Sahoo along with Const-86 Bulen Pradhan of RPF/OP/Boinda conducted surprise checking on arrival of train No- 08494 Spl Express on PF No-01 of Boinda Railway station. During course of checking, after departure of said train, they noticed one male person, age 27 yrs, sat on PF No 01 on cement bench lonely and crying. On being asked he disclosed his name & address as Kanhu Charan Sahu, age 27 yrs S/o-Suresh Chandra Sahu, Vill-Jerenga, Bhagirathipur,Ps-Jarapara Dist- Angul, Odisha. On further interrogation, he stated that he ran away from his native place without knowledge of his parents due to quarrel.

a. In this regard ASI D.K.Sahoo has informed his father over mobile phone. At about 20.00 hrs his father Suresh Chandra Sahu S/o(L) AnadiSahu of village Jeranga attended RPF/OP/Boinda and received his son under proper acknowledgement in presence of available witnesses by showing his identity. He highly appreciated the work done by RPF/OP/Boinda.

7. On 19.03.2021 at about 15.30hrs train No-00759 while coming on the middle line from Visakhapatnam toward Pendurti, one person namely Shek Kalimu S/O Shek Rehaman H. no. 5-27, Kothapeta was sitting on the railway track at KM No-868/37 in between Simahchalam and Pendurti section, In the mean time on duty Key man namely P. Pedda Venkat Rao Gang No. 30 of Simahchalam working under SSE/P-Way/WAT noticed him and rescued. In the mean time on duty Constable New Sarojit Roy at Simahchalam also noticed and rushed to the spot and brought him to RPF/Post/Marripalem. On arrival on duty shift officer SIPF/K. Rama Krishna conducted enquiry. During enquiry, the rescued person stated that due to his family problem he came to the Railway yard to commit suicide. The information was given to his wife and relatives. At about 19.00 hrs his wife and relatives came to RPF/Post/Marripalem and all were counseled by SI/K.Rama Krishna. Further the rescued person was handed over to GRPS/Visakhaptanam in presence of his relatives for further course of action from their end.

8. On dtd. 22.03.2021 as per reliable source of information received through PRABAL, regarding a shop of “Patra Digital Center” at Kantapada, Ganjam is being engaged in carrying out business of illegal procurement and selling of Railway e-ticket in Mardakote, Beguniapada area, Sri J.K.C.K. ASI along with Const.-107 Udhaba Nayak and Constable 328 S.K.Pradhan of RPF/Post/Balugaon proceeded to Kantapada, Beguniapada area at 05.40 hrs. and arrived at the shop at 09.00 hours, watched outside of the shop. The said shop was opened at 09.30 hours. Then the above RPF team called the shop owner who was present alone inside the shop, who gave his identify as, A.Somanath Patra, aged.24 Yrs, S/O- A.Rabindra Patra, R/O-Kantapada, PO-Mardakote, PS-Kodala, Dist-Ganjam, Odisha and he himself owner of the shop. ASI J.K.C.K. informed him about their purpose to work out the information and requested him to co-operate them. Then the said person voluntarily confessed that, he is doing the business of illegal procurement and selling of railway e-tickets by using of different personal I.D viz (i) ananda7205, Password-Ananda0095 and (ii) asatyampatra, Password-Patra9777, (iii) ashoka81120, Password-Ashoka791, (iv) aspptra, password-Aspatra1997, (v) babulu6362, password-Khatua2020, (vi) basant1338, Password-Basant8114, (vii) basdev178, Password- Basdev7296, (viii) Khatuas2020, password-Khatuas2020, (ix)nahak6703, password-Nahak8144, (x) rajanimehena, Password-Mehena7351, (xi) santosh9705, password-Santosh4952 and (xii) tukuna2147, password-Pradhan7328 in different time and getting commission. As per direction of ASI J.K.C.K., he voluntarily checked the computer by using his user IDs and password. On checking the IRCTC site, found 39 nos. live reservation e-tickets, valued Rs. 49880.35 and 31 nos. of past reservation e-tickets,valued Rs. 14375.99 ( Total Valued Rs. 64256.34) were generated from the above user IDs. All the e-tickets down loaded and printed out by the raid party. On being demand, he failed to produce any authority to run such business from the railway or any authorized agency of Railway. Further on being asked, he confessed that, he is doing such business illegally using above mentioned personal IDs and selling the same to customer by charging extra amount of Rs.50/- to 70/- and sometimes Rs.100/- per ticket in addition to actual fare, which is an offence punishable U/S- 143 of Railway Act. Then, the raid party offered him their personal search, but he denied to do so. Further ASI J.K.C.K. seized the tickets and one CPU (assemble) in presence of available witnesses, pasted label on the CPU. No independent witness came forward to witness the seizure due to fear of the court attendance. One copy of seizure was handed over to the party under proper acknowledgement. Then, CT-328 S.K.Pradhan recorded the statement of the alleged person in Odia language, where he confessed his guilty. The above named person was arrested by ASI J.K.C.K. U/S- 179(ii) Railway Act for committing an offence, punishable U/S- 143 Railway Act and a case vide No. C3C-20/2021 Dt.22.03.2021, U/S- 143 Rly Act registered at RPF/Post/Balugaon. The accused being produced before the Hon’ble Court of JMFC/KIT(Khallikot) on 23.03.2021 for legal action. E.O.-Sri J.K.C.K., ASI/Balugaon.

9. On dtd. 22.03.2021 at about 10.10 hrs during checking and drive by ASIPF N.K Sahoo and Con 348 P.D Singh, of RPF/Post/Puri, noticed one minor girl aged about 06 yrs, who was weeping and moving in distress condition on PF no. 1 of Puri Railway Station. On asking politely, she told her name as, Anni Kumari, who came to Puri Railway Station with her parents, but since long she did not found her father and mother. Besides that, the above minor girl aged about 06 Yrs. was unable to explain anything. As at that time, Train No. 02088 (PURI-HWH) Spl & Train no. 02815 (PURI-ANVT) Spl was standing at Puri Railway Station on PF no. 1&7 respectively. So it was suspected that, the parents of the minor girl might have to travel on above said trains. Accordingly the above minor girl was brought to enquiry counter and made co- ordination for continuous announcement through Station PA system. After the announcement at about 10.35 hrs, one bonafied passenger viz. Prasanta Kumar, aged-39 yrs, S/O-Amar Prakash, R/o- Ranabeni, Madhaba marg, ward No.14, Lalganja (Raebareli), UP attended enquiry office and identified his daughter and stated that, they were supposed to travel (with a group), in Train no. 02815 (PURI-ANVT) Spl Ex. Puri-Fatehpur, Berth no.66 to 69 and 71 of Coach no. S-5, Vide PNR No.614-5501808. During their entry in Railway Station Puri, his daughter missing due to heavy rush. Hence all the family members were in worried state and searched her, on PF-7 & 8. After verification of identity and travelling authority, the rescued minor girl was handed over to Child line Staff for further action. As the rescued girl was minor, so after preliminary enquiry the rescued minor girl produced before Child line, PURI under intimation to GRPs, DCPO & Station Director & hand over to her parent as per the procedure of law. In this regard SS/PURI made a D.E. vide No.375/F. During rescue & handover, RPF team followed guidelines as per SOP.

10. On the basis of PRABAL Data, on 23.03.2021 at 08.45 hrs, IPF C.V.Ramana with SIPF/M.Kumar and staff of RPF/Post/Paradeep proceeded to Kendrapara for raid and search against suspected Rly. Reservation e-ticket touting activities by one person Viz. Akram Khan. On arrival at Kendrapara, co-ordination made with LPS/Kendrapara Town and with the assistance of Police, the raid party attended the house of Md. Akram Khan. On calling from outside of the house one male person came out and on asking he disclosed his name and address as Md. Akram Khan,S/O. Anjam Khan. Then the party disclosed their identity and on being asked about railway reservation e-tickets, he came to the entrance gate with his laptop and on asking he opened his laptop before the raid party. On further asking about procuring and selling of railway reservation tickets, he disclosed that, he has no agent ship. Further, on asking about personnel user Ids, he browsed into the IRCTC website and opened the 05 Nos of personnel user Ids and 01 No of Future reservation railway e. ticket valued Rs- 693.19/- , 13 Nos of old/past journey railway reservation e-tickets valued Rs- 17967.87/- and booked tickets history etc. On asking about the authority to procure such reservation e-tickets, he could not show any authority and stated that, as per demand of customers he used to procure the railway reservation tickets through his personnel user ids and sell to them by taking extra amount Rs.300/- , apart from the fare amount on the ticket. The search was commenced in the presence of available independent witnesses. During search, the raid party seized one Dell inspiron N5050 laptop, One mobile phone with 02 Nos SIM, Paytm wallet and transaction details containing IRCTC payments. The statement of Md. Akram Khan also recorded in which he confessed that, he is carrying the business illegally by using “Iball, ANMS, tatkal plus extension” for making of tatkal tickets. Hence, he was arrested U/S.179(2) Rly Act 1989 and brought to the RPF/Post/Paradeep with seized articles. In this connection RPF/Post/Paradeep registered case vide no. C3C/16/2021 dtd.23.03.2021 U/S 143 Railways Act. The arrested person will be forwarded in the Hon’ble court of SDJM/Kendrapara on 24.03.2021 for legal action.

11. On dt. 23.03.2021 basing on credible source of information SI/S.K.Rao, ASIPF- P.C.M.Rao along with Con/Bijju Biswas, Con/ M.B.Singh and L.Con/Rani Mewada of RPF/Post/Vishakhapatnam and SI/GRP K.Ravi Kumar with staff of GRP/VSKP conducted drive at PF.No-08 near Gyanapuram general booking counter of Viskhapatanam Railway station. During course of drive from 08.30 hours they noticed 02 outsiders (one male and one female) moving in suspicious manner. On seeing the police team the outsiders tried to flee away from the spot. But immediately the above RPF and GRP joint team surrounded and detained them at the spot. On being asked they disclosed their name and address as 1. Nivaru, aged 48 years, S/O Chhotu, R/O Door.No-202, Mishrantola, Vill- Paraspur, Dist- Gonda,(Uttarpradesh). 2. Sabita, age 45 years, W/O late- Siva, R/O kumbru, PS- Amarkhpur, Dist- Farukhabad, (Uttarpradesh). During checking found 14 kgs of Ganja from their bags valued Rs.28,000/-. As per the provisions of NDPS Act 1985, SI/GRP prepared mediators report, then search and seizure report was prepared in presence of Gazetted officer and available witnesses. In this regard Inspector GRPS/VSKP registered case vide No. 55/2021 U/S 20 (b) (1) (c) r/w 8 (c) of NDPS Act-1985, Dtd: 23.03.2021. Further report will follow please.

12. On dt. 23.03.2021 at about 13.27 hrs Train No.02860 [Chennai-PUI] Express arrived at Puri Railway Station on PF No.04. On arrival of the said train at Puri, before locking of the coaches, on duty RPF Officer SIPF P.K Sethi & others conducted safety checking to prevent & detect criminal activities, if any. During checking on duty officer noticed one mobile phone (JIO Mobile valued-Rs1000/-) was laying on seat no. 5 & 6 of D-1 Coach of the said train. The mobile phone was brought to enquiry office of PURI and continuous announcement was done through PA system with the help of commercial staff but nobody came forwarded to claim it. After sometimes one call received by the recovered phone, the caller gave her identity as Smt. Bondu Martha, aged-27 yrs, W/o-P.Prasantham, R/o-Rajayyapeta, Mandal Nakkapalli, Dist-VIZAG, (AP), and stated that, she was travelling with her children Ex. Palasa-Puri, having PNR. No.4522950498, Berth no. 5 & 6 of coach no D-1. On arrival at Puri Railway Station, she got down and mistakenly left behind her mobile phone. Accordingly, at about 16.30 hrs the above retrieved mobile phone was handed over to her at RPF/Post/Puri with proper verification and acknowledgment.

13. On dt. 23.03.2021 at 07.25 hrs H/C-8959 Y.Khan of RPF/Post/Palasa while performing his duty at Ichapuram station noticed, one spotted deer aged about 2 ½ years was running on the UP line railway track & coming towards Ichapuram station chasing by street dogs. The said deer was in injured condition on his leg and head and arrived in front of Ichapuram station building. Subsequently HC-8959 Y.Khan rescued the said deer with the help of station staff and kept in Ichapuram station (2nd class Waiting Hall). The matter was informed to Local Police Ichapuram and Forest Department. Then Sri. D.V.V.S.N. Murty, Asst. Beat Officer/Pathapatnam, Dist-Srikakulam (AP) (Forest Department) attended Ichapuram station at 09.00 hrs. After providing First Aid the rescued deer handed over to him for further action. In this connection SS/Ichapuram made a station Diary entry No-678/A dtd-23.03.2021.

14. On dt. 24.3.2021, Raj Kumar Harijan Vill-Dipupada near Durga Mandap PS-North (Asansol) Dist-Paschim Bardhawan.(W.B) along with his family members arrived at Cuttack Railway station. They requested to PC/RPF/Post/Cuttack with one photograph to search his son Viz. Kundan Harijan who was missing from 19.3.2021 while returning from Pune to Howrah. He got down wrongly at Bhandara Road station and since then he was missing. On getting information, SI G.D. Mahapatra of RPF/Post/Cuttack conducted checking through the CCTV footage and searched the platform area. Fortunately, during thoroughly checking the missing person namely Kundan Harijan able to traced out and found wandering on Platfrom No. 1 of Cuttack Railway station. The traced person also identified by his parents and relatives as Kundan Harijan, Aged- 31 years, S/o-Raj Kumar Harijan. On being asked, the rescued person stated that, he had come to Cuttack by Train No. 08426 (Durg-Puri Express) and got down at Cuttack Railway Station in the morning of 24.3.2021. The parents of the rescued person extended heartily gratitude to the RPF team and very much obliged. In this connection, on duty SS/Cuttack made a DE vide No. 724/I dtd. 24.3.2021. After verification the rescued person was handed over to his family members with proper acknowledgment with photographs at 13.15 hrs on 24.3.2021. The information of the rescue of missing person was given to North Police station of Asansol, West Bengal.

15. On dt. 24.03.2021, HC 6329 P.K.Nayak of RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar while performing his duty found one pink colour bag lying near Cuttack end foot over bridge of Platform No- 4 & 5. In this regard he made announcement through PA system and brought the same to RPF/ Post/Bhubaneswar. After some time one person Viz. Md Muzaf Alam S/O- Hakim Ansari, R/O- Nawadin PS- Jaduidih, Dist- Bokaro, attended the post and reported that, he came to know about his left behind bag which was retrieved by RPF staff and requested to hand over the same. Further he stated that, he was travelling from Bokaro Steel City to Bhubaneswar by Train No- 02802 Exp having PNR No- 2765377232 and got down at Bhubaneswar and mistakenly he forgotten his bag containing Charger of I. Phone, Earphone, Smart watch, BOI ATM card, Fast track sun glass ( total Valued Rs.25000/-) near the foot over bridge while taking rest. After proper verification the bag was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

16. On dt.18.03.2021, T/No- 02824 (NDLS- Bhubaneswar) Rajdhani Spl Express was escorted by ASI B.B.Behera with HC 5521 S.N.Palai and other 02 staff of RPF/ Post/ Bhubaneswar Ex. Bhadrak to Bhubaneswar. During escorting HC 5521 S.N.Palai found one sumsang mobile in switched off condition and one PNB ATM card near berth no- 46 of coach No- B-5. On enquiry it could be learnt that, one passenger Viz. Indrajeet Kumar travelling from NDLS- DDU having PNR No- 2617931822 has left behind his mobile and got down at DDU station. Subsequently, on arrival at Bhubaneswar Railway station the said mobile phone was brought to RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar and informed to the passenger & kept in safe custody. On 24.03.2021 at about 10.00 hrs one person Viz. Sanjeet Kumar S/O- Vasudev Das R/O- Morsaram, PS- Shibsagar, Dist- Rohotas, Bihar attended at RPF/ Post/Bhubaneswar and stated that, he is the younger brother of Indrajeet Kumar and requested to hand over the left behind mobile and ATM card as his elder brother unable to attend RPF/ Post/Bhubaneswar due to illness. After proper verification the mobile & ATM card (Total valued Rs- 9000/- approx) handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

17. On dt. 24.03.2021 information received through Rail Madad complaint to the effect that, one passenger is travelling in train No 02821 coach No D-2 seat No 26 and he left behind his mobile phone on his berth and got down at JJKR Railway station. On receipt of information ASI D. N.Nayak of RPF/Post/Cuttack attended the said train on its arrival at Cuttack railway station on Platform No-04 at 06.00 hrs. ASI D.N.Nayak retrieved the same mobile phone and information was given to the passenger over his another phone. Accordingly on dtd 24.03.21 at 19.10 hrs the passenger Viz. Ramesh Kumar Behera S/O- Kasinath Behera Vill- Kumbharia , Balipokhari , Dist – Jajpur attended at RPF/ Post/ Cuttack and after verifying his identity the retrieved mobile phone valued Rs- 2000/- was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement .

18. On dt.24.03.2021 at about 10.16 hrs after departure of T/No.08494 ( Bhubaneswar- Bolangir) Exp, on duty RPF staff C/0759 P.Birua of RPF/Post/Rairakhol found 01 Redmi Note-8 black colour mobile phone, Value Rs.15000/- on Platform No.02 of Rairakhol Railway station. After sometime one person Viz.Trithankar Maitra made contact in the missing phone and stated that, after taking drinking water, his mobile was dropped at Rairakhol railway station while boarding in the train. On being asked, he stated that, he was travelling from Talcher road to Hirakud by T/No.08494 Exp, in coach No.D-4, berth No.103, PNR No.5648918221. Further at about 17.51 hrs he attended at RPF/Post/Rairakhol and the retrieved mobile phone was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement .

19. On 25.03.2021 a telephonic call received by SI A.K.Mishra RPF/OP/Jeypore from TI/LPS/Kotavali Jagadalpur regarding one minor girl namely Divya Yadav, aged-17 years flee away from her home (Lal Bagh) and is traveling in T/No- 08515 from Jagdalpur. TI/LPS/Kotavali requested to search the above train and to trace out her. Accordingly, on the arrival of T/No- 08515 at 11:50 hrs at Jeypore station PF No-1, SI A.K.Mishra along with Con-.B.Murali & Con- M.N.Raju attended and searched the train and they could able to trace the Girl from coach No D-2. On being asked she disclosed her identity as Divya Yadav aged-17 years, D/o Damuru Yadav, R/o Lalbagh, Jagdalpur, (C.G). Further, she stated that due to quarrel with her mother she left her home. She was rescued and brought to the RPF/OP/Jaypore with intimation to TI/LPS/Kotavali, Jagdalpur. As request by SI A.K.Mishra one local girl namely Vidhi Yadav, R/O- Umiri, Jeypore remained with her at RPF/OP/Jeypore. At about 14:30 hrs Constable- 1073 Ravi Sardar of LPS/Kotavali, Jagdalpur and Sri Damuru Yadav & Smt. Mangla Dei parents of rescued minor girl attended at RPF/OP/Jaypore. As per requisition from Con-1073 Ravi Sardar of LPS/Kotavali, Jagdalpur, the rescued minor girl namely Divya Yadav was handed over to him in presence of her parents with proper acknowledgement. In this connection, SS/on duty made a diary entry No- 730/J dt 25.03.2021.

20. On dt. 25.03.2021, one passenger namely Sri Mitesh Patel, aged about 30, S/O- Magan Lal Patel, R/O- Bhanpuri, Raipur, C.G. was traveling in T/No-08517 from Bhatapara to Raipur, having PNR No. 681-1277681, coach No-D3, seat No- 21. At the time of de-boarding at Raipur Railway station, he forgot to take his Blue Colour Trolly bag (Containing 06 nos new Saris, items value approx 12000/-) and left at his seat. Since the train left from Raipur Railway station hence he called RPF and told about the matter. Further, the information was received at RPF/Post/Mahasamud regarding the above matter. Immediately, on which Gopi Singh ASIPF/MSMD and CT-New Satish Kumar attended the said train on arrival at Mahasamud railway station on PF No-02, and could able to recover the left behind trolley bag. The trolley bag was brought to RPF/Post/Mahasamud with intimation to the above passenger. At about 22.30 hrs of 25-03-2021, the above-named passenger attended RPF/Post/Mahasamud Further the said travailing passenger attended at RPF/Post/Mahasamud at about 22.30 hrs and requested that to take the said bag. Hence M.K. Sahu, SIPF/MSMD produced him, the said bag and after proper verification and documentation, the recovered bag was handed over to him on proper Zimmanama. At last, he thanks to RPF, Team Mahasamund.

21. On 26.03.2021 at about 07.00 hrs the complainant came to Bhubaneswar station to purchase a Tatkal reservation ticket at the reservation counter of Bhubaneswar Railway station, by that time the counter was not opened and he was waiting in front of the reservation counter. At about 07.40 hrs he noticed his black color money purse containing cash of Rs 14,000/-, Adhar Card, PAN card, 02 ATM cards, RC book, and one SamsungJ7 Guru mobile(total value-26,000/-) was stolen by an unknown culprit. He searched for the stolen articles &mobile but could not trace them same Thereafter he reported the matter at GRPS/Bhubaneswar for further action. Basing upon the FIR, GRPS/Bhubaneswar registered a case vide No- 22/2021 dt- 26.03.2021 U/S-379 IPC. Report upon the case Con-9428 S.K.Pradhan and Con-B.Rout of STF/ Team/Bhubaneswar with GRPS/Bhubaneswar staff search near Bhubaneswar station area. During which at about 11.00 hrs they noticed one unknown person sitting in a lonely place near Khurda end PF No- 06 under the water tank in a suspicious manner. On seeing the search party he tried to escape that place but the search party able to detain him at the spot. During interrogation, he disclosed his name & address as Manjur Allam, age-20 yrs, S/O- SkSallim, Vill- Maina, PS- Paskuda, Dist- West Midanapur, W.B A/P- Maszid Colony, Malisahi, Unit-III, PS- Kharavela Nagar, Bhubaneswar, Dist- Khorda, Odisha. Further, he confessed that he had stolen one Purse & one mobiles from the reservation counter of Bhubaneswar Railway station. Those stolen properties were found in the possession of the arrested person Thereafter, the stolen properties and arrested person were brought to GRPS/Bhubaneswar and connected with GRPS/Bhubaneswar case No- 22/2021 dt 26.03.2021 U/S-379 IPC.

22. On 26.03.2021 at about 09.00 hrs, one male passenger namely Prasanta Maharaj, S/O Pramod Maharaj, Vill-Mahamuda, PO-Padmapur, PS-Patkura, Dist-Kendrapara, Odisha was travelling in train No-02861 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Spl having PNR No- 664-9013286, coach No-D4, berth No-50 Ex Sambalpur city -Rairakhol reported to SIPF/B.D.Sutar and on-duty staff Const G.Panchbiha of RPF/Post/Rairakhol regarding left behind of his one Green trolley bag containing valuable research documents of National Institute of Rural Development Panchayat Raj, Hyderabad Central University, money purse containing liquid cash Rs 4,000/-, ATM cum Debit card of SBI & Union Bank of India, Credit card of HDFC & SBI and used clothes total value Rs 1,50,000/-(approx) in D4 coach of train No-02861 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar special at Rairakhol station while got down from the train. Immediately information was given to RPF/OP/Boinda over the phone by SIPF/B.D.Sutar. Accordingly, on-duty staff Const S.Bagha of RPF/OP/Boinda retrieved the trolley bag from the said coach of the above train and sent it to RPF/Post/Rairakhol by train No-08493 Bhubaneswar-Bolangir special through train guard. Further, the retrieved trolley bag was handed over to its owner at 11.00 hrs of 26.03.2021 at RPF/Post/Rairakhol under proper acknowledgment. In this regard, he highly appreciated the work done by RPF.

23. On dt. 27.03.2021 from 06.00 hours ASIPF/P.C.M.Rao along with Con/Lanka Mahesh, Con/L.S.Rao of RPF/Post/VSKP and SI/GRP G.Balakrishna with staff of GRP/VSKP conducted checking at West Booking, PF No. 08, of Visakhapatnam Railway Station noticed one outsider moving in suspicious manner. On seeing the police team the outsiders tried to flee away from the spot. But immediately the above RPF/GRP joint team surrounded and detained him at the spot. On being asked he disclosed his name and address as BotchuKranti Kumar, aged 23 years, S/o Ravindar, native of D.No.3-91, Bujnoor village, Jammikunta Mandal, District-Karimnagar, (Telangana) and shown two carrying bags which contained 14 kgs. Ganja (valued Rs.28,000/-). On being asked he told that, for searching job he reached Visakhapatnam on 25.03.2021 by train. There after due to no money while moving in the Allipuram area for works, one unknown person interacted with him and served him meal from hotel and insisted him to carry of ganja bags by train for which he will pay more amount. The unknown person handed over two bags of ganja to him which was brought by some unknown person and both bags brought by him to VSKP Rly station and while entering through gate.no.04 he was apprehended by the police. As per the provisions of NDPS Act 1985, SI/GRP prepared mediators report, then search and seizure report was prepared in presence of Gazetted officer and available witnesses. In this regard Inspector GRPS/VSKP registered a case vide No. 60/2021 U/S 20 (b) (1) (c) r/w 8 (c) of NDPS Act-1985, Dtd: 27.03.2021. Further report will follow please.

24. On 26.03.2021, while train escorting party Con 9163-P.M Behera, Const. G.C.Nanda & Con P.K.Parida of RPF/Post/Puri performing their duties Ex. Palasa to Puri in Train No-08402 (OKHA-PURI) recovered 02 nos. of bag, (01 Sky bag containing Liquid cash of Rs.5,000/-, one Vivo V-7 Mobile) & other bag (containing old and new clothes) from seat No-86 of D-3 coach of the said train. On arrival of said train at Puri station the T/E party brought the recovered items at RPF/Post/Puri and informed to PC/RPF Puri for further disposal to the concern owner. After few time Con 9163 P.M Behera received one telephonic call from RPF/Post/Brahmapr that, one passenger viz. Prasanta Behera, aged-27 yrs, S/o-Soura Behera, R/o-Digapahandi, Neulisrinibaspur, Digapahandi, Dist-Ganjam [Odisha], who was traveling Ex-Surat to Puri, vide PNR No.8736435775, Seat No.86, of Coach No.D-3 left behind his 02 nos. of bags in the said train. On getting information RPF Con 9163 P.M Behera and others verified the recovered items and confirmed to the complainant about correct recovery. On 27.03.2021 at about- 01.00 hrs the above named passenger attended at RPF/Post/Puri and informed that, unfortunately he could not entrain in time at Vizianagaram Railway station and missed the train. On dt 27.03.2021 he came at Brahmpur Post and informed the matter. Accordingly RPF Staff of Brahmpur made contact with the train escorting Party of that train and recovered the same. After completion of official formalities the recovered 02 nos. of bag handed over to the concern Passenger. After receipt of that item he appreciated to the train escorting party of Puri for their good job. (Value of recovered items is Rs.20,500/-) Approx.

25. On dt. 27.03.2021 about 05.40 hrs during course of round made by ASI P C M Rao along with on duty P F drive staff Const. 80371 G B Krishna of RPF/Post/VSKP on PF No. 01 on arrival of Train No. 02728 (HYB-VSKP) Spl. Express they noticed that, one Laptop bag laying on berth No. 50 of coach No. B-1. In the mean time a phone call received from SCNL/WAT regarding left behind of the bag by one passenger namely T Santosh aged 34 years having PNR No. 452-2884690 Ex. SC to VSKP and Phone No. 90522 61576. Accordingly contact made with the passenger who stated that, the bag containing used clothes and baby cosmetics (Valued Rs. 4000/-) forgotten by him and he got down from the train at Ankapalli and requested to hand over the same to his cousin. Hence on 27.03.2021the retrieved bag handed over to his cousin namely P Jaganmohasn Sai of Kancharapalem, Visakhapatnam with proper acknowledgement.

26. On dt. 27.03.2021 one bonafied passenger Viz. Totan Senapati of Train No- 02802 Express, coach No-S-3, berth No-08, vide PNR No-221-6819796, Ex.Purulia to Bhubaneswar made a complaint to DSCR/KUR through Security Help Line regarding theft of his red colour Bag (Back Pack) containing pant, T-Shirt, Admit Card (NTPC), One Fast Track Watch, cash Rs 2500/-& One Puma Shoe etc. (Total Valued Rs 11500/-) at Bhadrak Railway station. On getting the complaint, the complainant namely Totan Senapati, aged 24 years, S/O-Shivnath Senapati, R/O-R.E.Colony/Gomoh, Post- Gomoh, PS-Hariharpur, Dist-Dhanbad, State-Jharkhand, Mob-8340287500 was contacted over his mobile phone and was advised to attend RPF/Post/Bhadrak for necessary assistance to lodge FIR at GRPS/Bhadrak. Accordingly on 27.03.2021 at about 19.30 hrs the complainant attended RPF/Post/BHC and he was assisted to lodge FIR at GRPS/Bhadrak in this respect. On basis of his complaint, GRPS/Bhadrak registered a case vide No-20/2021, dtd.27.03.2021 U/S 380 & 34 IPC, Further, on 27.03.2021 at 23.00 hrs officer and staff of RPF/Post/Bhadrakh along with GRPS/BHC conducted a joint drive at Bhadrak station and adjacent area of Charampa. During which, on 28.03.2021 at about 00.30 hrs, the joint raid party noticed, one male person was moving on PF No- 03 of Bhadrak station wearing a suspicious types of stolen clothes i.e T-shirt & wrist watch, which reasonably suspected that, the clothes might have been stolen from the complainant as described during his statement at the time of complaint. On suspicion the RPF & GRP joint team called the complainant to attend spot, who identified his stolen wearing apparels i.e T-Shirt, jeans paint & wrist watch. After that, the suspect person was detained and during interrogation he disclosed his name & address as Hari @ Haria @ Pintu Parida, aged 30 Years ,S/O-Rabi Parida , Vill/Post-Chok Jagannatha pur, PS-Khantapada, Dist-Balasore (Odisha) who confessed his guilt and stated that, he along with his associates namely Babu @ Babulu @ Amit Kumar Das, aged about 44 years, S/O- Iswar Chandra Das, Vill-Ranipatna,PS-Balasore Sadar,Dist-Balasore,Odisha boarded train No-02802 Purusottam Express in the night of 26/27.03.2021 from Balasore station and then, before arrival of said train at Bhadrakh station, they committed theft of one red colour Pithu bag (Backpack) from a passenger of the said train who slept in his seat No-S/3 and de-boarded at Bhadrakh station and left the station area. Further on opening of the above bag, they found Jean paint,T-Shirt, documents and one fast track wrist watch, cash Rs 2500/-, puma shoe etc. Then they divided the stolen items each other’s and he took the dress & watch with him and rest item was with Babu @ Babulu @ Amit Kumar Das. Then lady ASI/I.M.Shukla of GRPS/BHC seized the stolen items from the detained and then on leading of the accused, further raid was conducted at the circulating area of Bhadrak Railway Station and arrested Babu @ Babulu @ Amit Kumar Das, and recovered one red colour bag, cash Rs 2500/-, documents etc of the complainant. Then both arrested persons were brought to GRPS/Bhadrak, after legal formalities & documentation the accused persons were forwarded in the Hon’ble Court of SDJM/Bhadrak for further course of action. In this connection GRPS/Bhadrak registered case vide No-20/2021, dtd.27.03.2021 U/S 380 & 34 IPC and the both accused were sent to judicial custody for legal action.

27. On dt. 28.03.2021, ASI B.K. Bal & Constable Rajesh Kumar of RPF/Post/Puri were engaged for checking of Station area to prevent unauthorized entry/trespass. At about 13.00 hrs, they noticed, 01 minor boy aged about-12 years was sitting at the extreme end of Platform No.01 & 02 in distressed condition. On seeing his activities, the RPF staffs politely interrogated to him and he stated his name and address as Abhinandan Singh, aged-12 yrs, S/O-Ashok Singh, Mother- Rina Singh, R/O- Madhupur, PS- Shyampur, Dist- Howrah (WB). He also informed that, he fled away from his home on the evening of 27.03.2021 without knowledge of his parents as his parents were angry upon him for study. On the morning of 28.03.2021 he reached at Puri by Train No. 02837 (HWH-PURI) SPL Express, but couldn't go outside from Puri Railway Station as he was confused. Finally the rescued minor boy brought to "Women & Sishu Help Desk" & provided snacks/water to create a friendly environment & confidence. After completion of legal formalities, as per the procedure of SOP, the minor boy produced before CWC [Child Welfare Committee] Puri through Child Line with due intimation to DCPO & GRPs for further rehabilitation/ handing over to their parent. In this regard SS/PURI made a DE vide No-400/B, dated 28.03.2021. During rescue & other formalities, the guidelines were followed by the RPF team as per the SOP.

28. On dt. 27.03.2021, ASI G.M.Shundaray along with staff of RPF/Post/Puri were performing train escorting duty Ex-Puri to Jajpur Kendujhar road by Train No-08477 Spl Express. During which, at about 23:50 hrs the train escorting party rescued one lady aged about 34years from Coach No B-1, berth No 22 travelling without any tickets/authority and handed over to RPF/Post/Jajpur Kendujhar Road . Accordingly, contact made with her brother & father over mobile phone and it could be learnt that, the above lady namely Sasmita prusty, age- 34 years, D/O- Shamsundar Prusty, Linepada, Patnagarh( NAC), Bolangir is a mental patient and under treatment by the Dr. of NIMHANS Bangalore, Cuttack and fled away from her home. Further on dtd- 28.03.2021 at about 02.20 hrs her parents attended at RPF/Post/Jajpur kendujhar Road and she was handed over to them with proper documentation in presence of available witnesses with photographs. In this connection SS/Jajpur Kendujhar Road made a DE no-747/D dt-27.03.2021 & RPF/Post/Jajpur Kendujhar Road made DE no-06 at 08.20 hrs on dt-28.03.2021.

29. On dtd- 27.03.2021, while ASI A.K. Jena of RPF/Post/Puri was engaged for checking of Station Platform area of Puri Railway Station noticed, one old age person aged about-80 years lying on Platform No.05 & 06 in unconscious state. On seeing his condition, the above named ASI provided initial medical first aid and also informed the matter to concerned officials for providing medical treatment. Subsequently, the above named RPF officer shifted him to Dist. Hospital Puri for immediate treatment. Today in course of follow-up action RPF Staff of RPF/Post/Puri also attended the Hospital and interacted with the above old age person as now he is feeling well. The old aged person gave his identity as Nedunuri Viswanadham, aged about-76 Years, At-Venkupalem, Anakapalle, Visakhapatnam [A.P.]. He further disclosed that, he had come from Varanasi by Tr No- (02816) SPL Express (Nandan kanan Express) vide PNR No.2318173239, Coach No.S-10, and Seat No.12. On dtd-28.03.2021 he made contact with his relatives by his own mobile Phone about his conditon. He also appreciated the humanitarian work done by RPF.

30. On dated 29.03.2021 at about 22.30hrs, during course of round duty by ASI Ch.V.Bhaskar along with Const. P.Ramesh of RPF Post, Visakhapatnam on P F No. 03, one person viz. Madina Khan , Mob No.9397999932 informed that, he noticed one Purse at berth no.46,Coach no. S6 of Train no. 01020(BBS-CSMT) Konark Exp. which was forgotten by the co-passenger. The above said Purse was retrieved and brought to RPF Post and the same Purse was opened in presence of Madina Khan, found the mobile number 9849122222. Further IPF/ Visakhapatnam contacted through the above said mobile number and learnt that, the retrieved Purse was belongs to B.S.B. Prabhakar Rao, R/o- 7-24-7/32, Plot No. 561, R.K.Duplex Apartments, Dutch House Layout, Beach Road, Visakhapatnam. After getting information, the above named person (Owner of the Purse) attended RPF Post, Visakhapatnam. After proper verification the retrieved Purse, which was containing with Cash Rs.5015/-, 10 nos. of various cards (Adhar,travel,health, bank, RC etc.) handed over him with proper acknowledgement.

31. On dated 26.03.2021 at about 11.00hrs, one person viz. A. Rajeev, Plot No- 9-28-8/2, FFZOI, Tiruvenvikas Residency, North Avenue, VIP Road, VSKP mob No-7032522199 attended RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar and stated that, he along with his 17 relatives were travelling from Visakhapatnam to Bhubaneswar by Train No-02808 Exp. in B-5 Coach, having PNR No- 4110571007, dtd 25.03.2021. During detrain at Bhubaneswar Station, they mistakenly carried one maroon colour trolley bag of Co-passenger along with their luggages and requested to make necessary arrangement to hand over the same to its owner. Further contacted with the owner of above said bag Viz, Arup Baskey, age-31yrs, S/O- SadhumaniBaskay, R/O-Dwarihatta, PS- Haripal, Dist-Hooghly,West Bengal, Mob No- 8891942553, who attended RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar on 29.03.2021 at about 16.30 hrs. The above said recovered trolley bag, which was containing with one gold nose ring, new clothes, ATM card, Cheque book, Passport, Trimmer, food items (Valued Rs. 18500/-) was handed to him after proper verification and acknowledgement.

32. On dtd.30.03.2021 at about 16.50 hrs, during the course of round duty conducted by ASIPF Ch.V.Bhaskar along with Meri Saheli team of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam noticed 02 minor boys aged about 12 & 11 years were moving near enquiry/current booking counter at gate No.1 of Vishakhapatnam Railway Station in distressed condition without any guardian. On interaction, they disclosed their name and address as, 1) Chinta Yashwanth, age-12 yrs. S/o- Chinta Chinna Rao, R/o- Bevara Veedhi, Alajangi Village, Bobbili Mandal, Vizianagaram District and 2) Bevara Kumar Raju, age- 11 yrs, S/o- Bevara Murali, R/o- Bevara Veedhi, Alajangi Village, Bobbili Mandal, Dist. Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh and stated that, they were ran away from their home and came to Visakhapatnam Railway Station by Bus to proceed Guntur by Train. Accordingly made contact with their parents over mobile phone Nos. 7799689180 & 8688134708 respectively and an intimation was given to the Chairman/CWC/ Visakhapatnam Chair Person. Also information passed to SS On Duty/ Visakhapatnam to make necessary station diary entry, who made diary entry vide No. 897/12. At about 20.00 hrs, the parents of both minor boys viz. Sri Chinta Chinna Rao, father of Cinta Yashwanth and Smt. Bevara Manga, Mother of Bevara Kumar Raju attended at RPF Post/ Visakhapatnam to receive their children. As per direction of Chairman/CWC, the both rescued minor boys handed over to their parents through Sathi Railway Child Line/Visakhapatnam, in presence of RPF & GRPS/ Visakhapatnam with proper acknowledgement and SS on duty/Visakhapatnam made another diary entry vide no. 897/19 in this regard.

33. On dtd. 30.03.2021, one bonafide passenger Viz. Deepak Kumar Nayak, aged-34yrs, S/O-dasarathi Nayak, R/O-Binodpada, Ranapur, Dist.- Nayagarh, was traveling in Train No.02873 in S/7 Coach having PNR No.6547821037 along with his family. While the said train was about to reach Balugaon Railway station the said passenger remembered that, at the time of boarding at Khurdha Railway Station mistakenly he left behind his one blue colour trolley bag, which was containing with old clothes, toys, baby foods and utensils.. Immediately he got down at Balugaon Railway station and made contact with RPF/Post/Khurda Road to get back his bag. On getting information, officer and staff of RPF/Post/Khurda Road searched the PF area of Khurdha Railway Station and the same bag was retrieved by on duty ASI/RPF L.D’Silva and PF Staff, Const.40780, R.K.Nayak of RPF Post,Khurda Road. Further at about 10.30hrs, the above named passenger attended RPF/Post/Khurda Road and narrated about the fact. The said retrieved trolley bag with articles, Valued Rs.2500/-approx. was handed over to him after proper verification and acknowledgement.
