GOOD WORK DONE BY RPF ECoR FOR THE PERIOD FROM 01.04.2021 TO 15.04.2021

1. On 31.03.2021 at about 15.00 hrs., Sri A.A.Khan, Asst. Sub-Inspector/CIB/HQ/BBS & his team of Crime Intelligence Branch/Detective Wing/ consisting Sri M.K.Panigrahi, HC-9154 and Sri P.K.Rout, Const-176 handed over 01 detained one male person with relevant documents at RPF Post/Carriage Repair Workshop/Mancheswar and submitted a complaint that as per pre-approved programme by competent authority, on 31.03.2021 a surprise checking was conducted against touting activities at Railway reservation counter, Rail Vihar, Chandrasekharpur at about 10.30 hrs. At about 11.10 hrs one person left from PRS counter/Rail Vihar with suspicious manner. The detective wing/ CIB/Hqrs detained the said person namely Ashok Kumar Mishra @ Babu, aged-32Yrs, S/O- Sanatan Mishra, R/O- Garadeswar, Tala Sahi, PS- Jajpur Town, Dist- Jajpur, at the spot. On checking it was found two nos. of railway reservation Tatkal tickets one having PNR No-6349217339 in T/No-02644, DOJ- 02.04.2021 Ex-Cuttack to Aluva(AWY) for two passengers valued Rs.1940/- and another PNR No-6349217800 in T/No- 02821, DOJ-01.04.2021 EX- Howrah to Bhubaneswar for one passenger valued Rs. 425/- in his possession and Liquid Cash Rs. 270/- and he failed to give any satisfactory reply regarding the passengers for whom he had purchased the ticket as well as also failed to produce any legal authority for purchasing the tickets for others rather he confessed that he has been purchasing tickets for one Tapas Ranjan Barik on taking Rs.300/- per day. The tickets are sold by Taps Ranjan Barik in exchange of extra amount of Rs. 700/- per ticket from customers for his personal gain. As Ashok Kumar Mishra @ Babu procured the said railway tickets for selling same to passengers in exchange of extra amount which is an offence punishable U/S 143 of Railway Act, ASI A.A Khan of CIB/Hqrs seized the above mentioned tickets from his possession and also seized the requisition slip for the tickets from on duty CRS after giving requisition with proper seizure in presence of available witnesses at the spot. The statement of said detained person was recorded by ASI/ A. A. Khan, CIB/Hqrs/BBS. After observing of all legal formalities, the team of Crime Intelligence Branch/Detective/HQ/BBS brought to the accused person with relevant documents to the RPF Post/Carriage Repair Workshop/Mancheswar and produced before Inspector In-charge/RPF Post/CRW/Mancheswar at about 15.00 hrs. for taking necessary action. On basing report a case has been registered at RPF /POST/MCS vide C3C -04/2021 dtd. 31.03.2021 U/S- 143 of Railway Act against him. The case is entrusted to the ASI/ S.K.Rout for further enquiry. After completion of all legal formalities the accused person was forwarded before Hon’ble court of SDJM/Bhubaneswar for further legal action where the said accused has been released on bail by SDJM/BBSR on surety of Rs. 20000/- of bailer Sarat Mohanty, S/O- Kailash Mohanty, Vill- Siriapur, Pipili, Puri.

2. On 31.03.2021 during surprise checking by Sri J.K.Mallick SI/CIB/HQ/BBS, with of CIB/Detective Wing/BBS at PRS Counter, KIIT Campus, BBSR against touting activities from 10.30 hrs onwards. During the drive at about 11.20 hrs one person left the PRS counter with suspicious manner. The team detained that person namely Tapas Ranjan Barik ,aged 49 years, S/O-(L)Jatadhari Barik,R/O-Bantaligram,PS-Gop,Dist- Puri,Now residing at R/O-Plot No-406/2730,Tarasundari Lane,Old Town /Bhubaneswar,PS- Shree Lingaraj,Dist-Khurda, (Odisha) and on checking found two nos. of railway reservation Tatkal tickets 1. PNR No-6749217256 in T/No-08463, DOJ- 01.04.2021 Ex-BBS to Bangalore for four passengers valued Rs.3260/-, 2. PNR No-6811581913 in T/No- 02644, DOJ-02.04.2021 EX- CTC to AWY for four passenger valued Rs. 3880/-and 03 Reservation tickets 1. PNR No- 6349221065 in T/No-08450, DOJ-28.04.2021, EX- KIUL to BBS for one passenger valued Rs. 255/-, 2.PNR No- 6248498497 in T/No-08463, DOJ-02.04.2021, Ex- BBS to Bangalore for one passenger valued Rs.635/-, 3. PNR No- 4523051692 in T/No-08464, DOJ-05.04.2021, Ex- Bangalore to BBS for one passenger valued Rs.635/- with liquid cash:- Rs 1200/- were found from his possession. On demand he failed to give any satisfactory reply or produce any legal authority for purchasing the tickets for others ,rather he confessed his guilt that he used to purchasing railway reservation tickets for needy customers and selling the same in exchange of extra amount of Rs. 700/- per ticket for his personal gain. As purchase and selling the railway tickets to passengers in exchange of extra amount without any legal authority which is an offence punishable U/S 143 of Railway Act. SI J. K.Mallick seized the same tickets, with liquid cash from his possession in presence of available witness and arrested U/S 179(2) of railway Act for committing an offence punishable U/S 143 Railway Act at 14.30 hrs of 31.03.2021.After observing the legal formalities the arrested person with seized articles as per seizure list produced before PC/RPF/Post/ Bhubaneswar with a written complaint for further legal action. On the basis of which PC/RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar registered a case No.C3C-127/2021 dated 31.03.2021 U/S-143 Railways Act.1989 and the case is entrusted to SI S.Suresh for further enquiry. After preparation of all relevant documents, the accused person was forwarded before Hon’ble court of Hon’ble SDJM/Bhubaneswar where he was released on bail.

3. On 31.03.2021 about19.45 hrs during course of rounds made by ASI P C M Rao along with H/C 9325 B Ramu of RPF Post Visakhapatnam noticed that one Realme mobile phone was lying on P F No. 01 near pillar No. 18 of Visakhapatnam Railway Station. After few minutes a phone call received on that mobile from one person namely Saheb SK Having PNR No. 4731424723 EX KPD to PNBE and ph No. 8089830380/ 7679396896 through the said phone and who stated that he was travelling by T/No.02643 Express and left behind his phone on PF No.1 of Visakhapatnam Railway Station. On arrival of the above said person at RPF Post Visakhapatnam the retrieved mobile phone valued Rs.10, 000/- was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

4. On 31.03.2021 IPF R.K Rao IPF/RPF/POST/Duvvada of Waltair division along with Ct- PRC Rao of RPF Post Duvvaada, HC-4198 N Patra,HC-1157 L R Majhi of RPF/KRPU conducted secret watch at Nabarangpur PRS market area from 13.00 hrs against illegal touting of PRS Railway Reservation tickets/ E-Tickets on commission basis. During the watch at about 13.30hrs they noticed one person coming from bus stand area to Jagannadh temple side of Nabarangapur, PRS/Market area. On suspicion he was detained and on interrogation he disclosed his name and address as Ravindra Kumar Panda ,aged-47,years, S/O- Jatindranath Panda, R/O-Darubandh Street Nabarangapur, P/S- Town Nabarangapur, Dist- Nabarangapur, Odisha. Further on checking from his possession it is found Xerox copies PRS reservation tatkal tickets and normal tickets including IRCTC E-Tickets in which 09 PRS future Tickets Value :-Rs. 27465/- and 01 future E-Ticket Value:-370/-, Total Value:-27,835/- and 02 Past E-Tickets Value:- Rs. 11420/-. Total ticket value Rs.39255/- (Future and used Tatkal PRS/Genaral PRS/E-tickets) and some bunch of peppers and other details tatkal and one black colour sumsung mobile hand set Model No;- Galaxy J-8. On demand he failed to produce any legal authority in support of those above articles. On further interrogation he confessed that the above reservation tickets were booked by him as per customers demand and he is taking Rs. 500/- extra commission per ticket from the actual fare amount. Later he admitted his guilt for his act and begged apology. Hence IPF R.K.Rao of RPF/post/Duvvada seized the said tickets at the spot in presence of available witness and also recorded his confessional statement and arrested the above said person under the provision of 179(2) railway Act for committing an offence punishable U/S 143 railway act. Then he brought to RPF/post/Koraput and handed over the above subjective person with seized article, seizure list and confessional statement, memo of arrest to inspector of RPF/post/Koraput on 01.04.2021 at about 01.30hrs for further legal action. Hence, a case is registered at RPF/post/Koraput vide case No;-C3C 24/2021, U/S 143 Railway Act dtd:-01.04.2021 against the Ravindra Kumar Panda. Further legal formalities were done at RPF/Post/Koraput by IPF. A.Behera and the accused person was forwarded before SDJM/Nabarangapur where the accused person was released on bail. 5. On 01.04.2021 at about 14.30 hrs Const-6035 R.M.Rao on duty staff of Palasa Station noticed one Minor boy was moving alone under new FOB of Palasa station. On suspicion he detained boy and informed to the child help desk/Palasa Station. On interrogation he disclosed his identify as Praveen Satrade Sai Tode aged 10years, S/O-Satik Ram, R/O+ PS- Bhattapara, Dist-Bluada Baja (CG). In this regard information has given to CWC/Srikakulam and according the advice of CWC/Srikakulam after the testing of Covid-19 at Palasa Govt. medical on 02.04.2021 of the rescued child he will be handed over to CWC/Srikakulam now the rescued child is under care of Railway child line Palasa. In this connection a DE vide no 818/A dtd-01.04.2021 is made at Palasa Station.

6. On 31.03.2021 about 15.42 hrs received an rail madat complaint regarding left behind of black colour Laptop bag near gate one bonafied passenger namely Nur Ahmed who was boarded in train no.07488. On receipt of information on duty shift officer SIPF S. K RAO made contact with the complainant who stated the place of left behind of his bag without laptop. On the direction of the passenger SIPF S. K RAO attended the place i.e near gate no 05 pillor no.25 and recovered the bag (without laptop) and kept at Post. The same was informed to the complainant to collect his bag. Accordingly on 01.04.2021 complainant’s cousin, namely Ansar Valli having Adhar No.617066808746 and Ph.No 9014298280 attended at RPF Post Visakhapatnam and as per the request of complainant the retrieved bag was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

7. On 03.04.2021 at about-10.00 am, while on duty officer & Staff namely ASI/N.K.Sahoo & Con- D.R.Muduli of RPF/Post/Puri were engaged for conducting drive against undesirable elements in Station premises & also safe passing of train No.02088 [Dhouli Express], noticed one minor boy child aged about-14-15 years was moving at the extreme end of PF No-01 in alone & confusing state. On seeing his activities, on-duty RPF officer politely interrogated to him. During which he disclosed his name & address as Ripan Sabji, aged-15 years, S/o-Altap Sabji, At-New Nagharia, PS-English Bazar, Distt-Malda [W.B.]. Further, he also informed that he came at Puri two days back from his home due to angry of his parents upon him, but on arrival at Puri, he was confused and trying to return from Puri to his home by any train. Efforts were made by ASI/ N.K.Sahoo to collect contact number & his family details to transmit the information to his family, but he couldn't explain more due to language problem. Finally, the rescued minor child brought to the “Women & Sishu Help Desk” & provided snacks to create a friendly environment & confidence. After completion of the preliminary inquiry, the rescued minor boy was produced before CWC [Child Welfare Committee] through Child Line under intimation to DCPO/Puri, GRPS/Puri & SMR /Puri for further rehabilitation. In this regard, SS/Puri made a D.E. vide No.429/A dt 03-04- 2021. During rescue & disposal, all the guidelines followed as per SOP. In this regard, RPF/Post/PUI made D.E No.26 at 11.30 hrs on 03.04.2021.

8. On the night of 25/26.03.2021, while ASI/A.K.Jena & Con-D.R.Muduli were engaged for performing Station checking duty, found one bag containing some clothes, medical documents & passport of one Pankaj Dhakad, aged-31 years, S/o-Hari Ram Dhakad, At-Mahavir Pura, Dist-Guna [M.P.] from PF No.07 & 08 of . On checking of that bag one dairy, in which contact number of the concerned Passenger was also found. Accordingly, the RPF Staff made contact with the passengers on the morning of 26.03.2021 & it could be noticed that he is travelling Ex-Puri-Bilashpur vide PNR No.624-7692774, train No.08477 [Utkal Express] along with his family. He also requested to keep the recovered bag at RPF/Post/Puri till his arrival at Puri. On 03.04.2021, Pankaj Dhakad attended RPF/Post/Puri and after due verification, the recovered bag containing all that items was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement. The value of the recovered bag is Rs-6,000/- (Approximately).

9. On 23.03.2021, one Rail Madad Complaint was received from the complainant namely Ayush, M/No.6397065651, regarding his father’s mobile phone was left behind at Vizianagaram railway station Waiting hall. On receipt of information, SI/ B.V. Ramana along with HC-271 A.Ravi rushed to the waiting hall and searched the waiting hall Vizianagaram. During the search, they found one JIO mobile phone with a charger kept in the Waiting Hall. The above-named officer and staff recovered it and brought it to RPF/Post/Vizianagaram for further disposal to its rightful owner. On 03.04.2021 at about 09.00 hrs Bhagwan Sahu, S/o Govinda Prasad Sahu, D.No.100/27, Sheetla Ghati, Dauli Mandir Ke Barabar, Mathura, State,(father of the complainant) attended the RPF/Post/Vizianagaram and submitted a requesting letter for handing over the Jio mobile phone with charger. On being asked he stated that on 23.03.2021 he had forgotten his mobile phone on the charging point in Waiting Hall/Vizianagaram on PF No.01 and hurriedly boarded the train for which his son made Railmadad complaint. As per his request, the on duty shift officer verified the identity proofs and handed over Jio mobile phone with the charger to him correctly with proper acknowledgement. Value of the mobile phone is Rs-1,500/-(approx).

10. On dt 03.04.2021 at about 11.15 hrs information received from DSCR/Sambalpur regarding one lady passenger namely N Kusum, aged-35 yrs, W/o Srinivas Rao, At- Aringpeta, Po/Ps- Gara, Dist- Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, who is undergoing pregnancy of about 06 months was travelling in train No-02888, PNR No- 221-7265154 Ex-Bhopal to Visakhapatnam in coach no A-2, Seat No- 26, faces medical emergency due to miscarriage of twins after train passing Kesinga. On arrival of the train at about 11.28 hrs at Muniguda, SI Vikash Nayak (Learning), Ct-15669 P K Acharya attended the lady passenger in presence of PC/RPF/Muniguda & SM/Muniguda and tried to arrange an ambulance by calling 108 but failed. As the lady passenger was in critical condition & undergoing heavy bleeding needs urgent medical treatment she has been shifted to Christian Hospital, Bissamcuttack, Rayagada by the vehicle of RPF/Post/Muniguda with RPF escort namely Ct-15669 P K Acharya along with relatives of the patient. She was admitted for further treatment vide OPD Number-709926 in Ward/Bed No-LR-04. & now her condition is stable. In this connection SM/Muniguda made station diary entry vide No-1012 & 1013 dt 03.04.2021. Relatives/husband of the lady passenger have highly appreciated the prompt action & providing emergency help to the passenger for shifting her in hospital by RPF/Muniguda.

11. On 04.04.2021 at about 04:00 hrs, on getting information a joint drive was conducted by SI S.Kantharao & HC-694 K.U.M.Rao of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam & SI P.Kameswararao, RPC-677 H.B.Raju, RPC-286 M.V.Udai Kumar of GRPS/Visakhapatnam. During the drive, they noticed one person on PF No. 2 & 3 south end of Visakhapatnam Railway station. On seeing the uniform persons he tried to escape with one cover. Immediately the drive team caught hold him. On being asked he disclosed his name and address as Pudi Srinivasa Rao @ Pudi Srinu @ Puri, S/o Suri Babu (L), R/o Venkateswara Metta, Allipuram, Visakhapatnam, N/o Pedapalli (Village), Yalamanchili Mandal, Visakhapatnam. Later during a thorough investigation by GRPS/Visakhapatnam, he admitted that he had stolen mobiles on 02.04.2021 from PF No. 4 & 5, on 29.01.2021 on PF No. 1 and 24.02.2021 PF No-6&7 of Visakhapatnam station. GRPS/Visakhapatnam also recovered 03 mobile phones and connected the above-named person with GRPS/Visakhapatnam case No-68/2021 dt 03.04.2021 u/s-379 IPC, case 17/2021 dt 29-01-2021 u/s 379 IPC and 35/2021 dt 24-02-2021 IPC. The arrested person produced before Hon’ble VI MM Railway court and remanded for judicial custody.

12. On 04.04.2021 at about 04.00 hrs while complainant namely Sandhaya Rani Nayak, age- 21 yrs, D/O- Sanaja Nayak, At/PS- Baliguda, Dist-Khandhamala, Odisha. the complainant sleeping at the concourse area in front of the Main gate of Bhubaneswar Rly station by keeping her vanity bag under her head by that time one unknown person snatched away from her vanity bag and try to flee away from that place. On noticing the same she raised Halla as chor, chor and followed him. On hearing the hulla, on duty RPF officer staff SIPF/J.Behera, HC.3364 T.K.Mohapatra and Const-Sonaram Soren of STF Team/Khurda road chased and caught the culprit at a short distance with the recovery of the stolen vanity bag containing VIVO mobile, cash of Rs 700/-, Adhara card & other cosmetic articles(total value 20,700/-) . The complainant also reached the spot and identified the culprit. On interrogation, the apprehended person disclosed his identity as Pramod Naik,aged-32 yrs, S/o-Naba Naik,, Dulanapur, PS- Banki, Dist- Cuttack and Odisha. Then the apprehended person along with the complainant was brought to GRPS/Bhubaneswar for further legal action where lodged F.I.R with GRPS/Bhubaneswar regarding the matter. In this connection, GRPS/Bhubaneswar registered a case vide No-25/2020 dtd- 04.04.2021 U/S-379 IPC. The accused person was forwarded before the Hon’ble court SDJM/Bhubaneswar for further legal action.

13. In continuation to DCR dated 15.01.2021 and action upon the GRPS/Bhubaneswar Case No- 06/2021 dated 14.01.2021, as per reliable source of information on 03/04/2021 night, STF team of RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar viz. SIPF/R K Patra,Con-S R Sahoo and Con-Biswajit Sahoo and GRPS/Bhubaneswar staff conducted raid and search at old Auto stand of Bhubaneswar station (PF No- 06 side) and able to apprehended one suspected person namely Simanchala Padhi @ Gudu, age-24 yrs, S/O- Kailash Padhi, R/O- Pradhan Basti, Budhanagar, PS- Laxmi Sagar, BBSR, Dist- Khorda, Odisha at 00.30 hrs dt 05-04-2021 with recovery of one Samsung Galaxy A31 mobile valued Rs-10,000/-. He was brought to GRPS/Bhubaneswar and connected with GRPS/Bhubaneswar case No- 06/2021 dtd- 14.01.2021 U/S-379 IPC. The above good work was received late from DSCR/Khurda road at 10.00 hrs in mail.

14. On 04.04.2021 during the course of round conducted by, L/SIPF V.Keerthi Reddy along with ASI/P.C.M.Rao under the supervision of PC/RPF/Visakhapatnam after the departure of T/.No 02805(VSKP-NDLS) at PF No-8 near gate no-5 at about 22.15 hrs noticed one girl sitting idle at pillar no- 27. The above-named RPF officers interacted with the said girl who disclosed her name as Kiran but her answer and behavior showed some abnormality as she is a mental disorder. Hence she was rescued and, brought to the general ladies waiting hall for further inquiry. Accordingly, information was given to S.S on duty who made a diary entry vide no.947/04 dt 04-04-202. In the meantime, about 22.45 hrs ,co-incidentally the family members of the girl came to GRPS/Visakhapatnam as well as RPF/ Post/ Visakhapatnam and shown one pamphlet regarding missing of their mentally disorder girl from home since 08.03.2021. The girl in the pamphlet was the same girl who was rescued. Then the rescued was produced before her family members, and they identified each other. Family members gave out the name and address of the girl as Dungi Kiran Kumari(Harshini)aged-26 years D/O D.Appa Rao R/O Dr.No 36/78-10/2, Makkavari street,Reddy Kanchara palem, Visakhapatnam-530008. In this connection family members told that they have already lodged an FIR lodged with 5th Town, Visakhapatnam who registered a case vide no No:177/2021 U/S 155 Cr.Pc (missing person)Date 10.03.2021. After proper verification, the rescued girl expressed her willingness to go with her family members. Hence she was handed over to family members under proper verification/acknowledgment in presence of staff of GRPS /Visakhapatnam. In this connection SS/Visakhapatnam again made diary entry vide No-947/05 dt 05.04.2021.

15. On 04.04.2021,at 01.24 hrs an information received from DSCNL/Khurda road through mail regarding absconded of one lady viz. Suchitra Jena age-30 yrs from house and she is traveling from Purulia to Jajpur Keonjhar road without ticket in T/No.02802 [New -Puri] Express and her family members are unable to contact with her. On getting information LSI/A.sarkar along with HC-192 S.Munda of RPF/Post/Jajpur Keonjhar road conducted a search/drive at the Jajpur Keonjhar road railway station area. During the search /drive, they found a lady passenger got down from T/no-02821 express which arrived at Jajpur Keonjhar road on PF No-03 at 04.40 hrs. On close interrogation, she disclosed her name as - Suchitra Jena age-30 years, D/o-Parsuram Jena, vill-Purulia Paurasavha ward No-03, Ps-Purulia Town, Dist-Purulia, [WB] Mob No-9339045469/8116365569. She was traveling in a general Ticket vide No-48562128 ex- Purulia to Kharagpur. Then issued an excess fair ticket from Kharagpur to Jajpur Keonjhar road. Then contact made with her father & sister over the mobile phone by LSI/A.Sarkar and it came to know that the said lady flee away from home and her father stated that he will arrive soon at RPF/Post/Jajpur Keonjhar road for taking her daughter. At about 10.15 hrs her Mother & cousin brother attended RPF/Post/Jajpur Keonjhar road and submitted their ID proof with a written undertaking to receive her. Finally, she was handed over to her parents with proper documentation and acknowledgment in presence of available witnesses. In this connection SMR/Jajpur Keonjhar road made a station D.E. vide No-805/J,dt-04.04.2021 and RPF/Post/Jajpur Kenojhar road D.E.No-18,dt-04.04.2021.

16. On 04.04.2021 one Rail Madad complaint has been received by RPF/Post/Khurda road at 08.36 hrs regarding one Samsung HD Led TV -80cm was left behind mistakenly at Khurda Road RS PF No-3 at 21.25 hrs dt 03-04-2021 by Mr. Mantu Kumar Mahtoas who boarded in Train No.02801 from Khurda road to Gaya , PNR No-6749224038. But, due to his good fortune, the same was noticed by Babuli Jena, Watcher/SIB/KUR who then recovered the same and handed it over at RP/Post/Khurda road. Then after enquiring about the same by LSI/V.Sharma of RPF/Post/Khurda road informed to the owner(Mantu Kumar Mahto). After getting information two Army personnel namely G.N.Reddy, Nb/Sub. & N.Singh(relatives of the complainant) attended RPF/Post/Khurda road and the recovered LED TV handed over to them by LSI/V.Sharma with proper acknowledgment after confirmation from the complainant. They noted it down in Appreciation Book & thanks RPF for the good work.

17. On 05.04.2021, at about-12.30 hrs, while SI/P.K. Sethi & Con-Dipti Ranjan Muduli of RPF/Post/Puri were engaged for performing duty at the Station area, found one mobile Phone Model-Vivo-Nazro was laying on Platform No.03. After checking the mobile Phone the above-named officer and staff were also noticed that cash Rs-2,500/- [500x05] was also kept inside the mobile cover. As the mobile Phone was in pattern lock condition, so they brought the same to RPF/Post/Puri for further handover to its owner with due verification. After few times one call was received in the recovered mobile Phone & the caller gave her identity as Anupama Gupta, At- Sahadatganj, Lucknow [Uttar Pradesh]. Further, she also informed that she came to Puri for lord Jagannath Darshan & today she along with her family arrived at Puri Railway Station for returning to her native place & boarded in train No.02815 [[Nandan Kanan Express], vide PNR No.6345546785, Coach No. S-2 [beth No-09-13]. She further requested to keep her mobile Phone & money at RPF/Post/Puri till the arrival of her identified person. At about-03.00 PM one Mukesh Sundray, who is working as a travel agent & through whom the above-named passengers booked Hotel etc at Puri attended RPF/Post/Puri. As per the request of the concerned Passenger [Anupama Gupta] the recovered mobile Phone & cash handed over to Mukesh Sundray with proper acknowledgment & due verification. The above-named Passenger appreciated the honesty of the officer and staff of RPF/Post/Puri.

18. On 04.04.2021, at about 17.20hrs one person namely Siddharth Acharya,AC mechanic of train no- 08310Exp came RPF/Post/Sambalpur and handed over one handbag (Tanishq) of one bonafide passenger which was kept in coach no- A-1, berth No-39 of 08301. Then the bag was checked in presence of AC mechanic and found (1) One baby towel (2)02 no’s of pants (3) 01 face mask (4) 02 no’s of diapers (5) 01 handkerchief (6)01 Massage oil. (Total Value Rs 2,000/- Approx). Then the above-named AC mechanic provided the contact number of the owner of the bag which was obtained by him from a co-passenger by AC Mechanic. Immediately SI/P.K.Jayapuria contacted with victim passenger namely Megha Raniover mobile No-9937043157 , who told that she was traveling from Hatia to Jharsugudavide PNR No-2854758551, coach no A-1, berth No-39 in train No-08310 and her handbag was mistakenly left behind and she got down at Jharsudguda. On 05.04.2021 at about 10.10hrs one person namely Sarat Rana representative on behalf of the owner of the handbag came to RPF/Post/Sambalpur and SI/B.K.Hota handed over the handbag correctly after proper verification after getting confirmation from the above named passenger. She was pleased and thanked RPF/Post/Sambalpur.

19. On 04.04.2021 at about 23.00 hrs a joint drive was conducted by ASI/L.B.Sahu with Const- P.K.Panda of RPF Post/Bhadrak along with officer and staff of GRPS/Bhadrak under supervision of OIC/GRPS/Bhadrak near Bhadrak Railway ground against suspected TOPB offenders in connection with GRPS/Bhadrak case No-16/2021, dtd.11.03.2021 U/S 380 IPC, during which at about 05.00 hrs dt 05-04-2021 the above-named officers and staff apprehended 02 persons namely Sk.Firoj, aged 30 years, S/O-Sk.Salim, At-Near Railway Colony,PS-Bhadrak Rural,Dist-Bhadrak,Odisha & 2) Aruna Rout @ Kathia,aged-30 years, S/o-Rama Chandra Rout, R/O-Haniman Hat, Baralapokhari, PS-Bhadrak Rural, Dist-Bhadrak,state-Odisha. During interrogation the above- apprehended persons confessed that they had committed theft one Micro Max mobile phone from a passenger of Coach No-S-3, in train No-02821, dt.09.03.2021 as well as produce the same before OIC/GRPS/Bhadrak and confessed their guilty. Accordingly SI/P.K.Naik of GRP/OP/Jajpur Keonjhar road at Bhadrak seized the Black colour Micro Max mobile phone(valued Rs-4,000/-) having IMEI No-911495306421488 under cover of seizure in presence of available witnesses. Further on the same day acting upon the source of information the joint team conducted another raid near Bhadrak Railway station by the side of Grama Panchayat office and could able to apprehended one person namely Chotta@ Kamala@ Kamala Kanta Das,aged 37 years, S/O-Chitnya Charan Das,Vill-Baulapokhari,PO-Hanuman Hat, PS-Bhadrak Rural, Dist-Bhadrak,Odisha During interrogation he confessed that he had committed theft of one mobile phone from a passenger of coach No-S-10, in train No-02863 Howrah-Yeswantput Express on.15.01.2021 as well as produce the same before OIC/GRPS/Bhadrak and confessed his guilt. Accordingly, ASI/I.M.Shukla of GRPS/Bhadrak seized the blue colour Realme-5 mobile phone(valued Rs-11,000/-) having IMEI No-862452046282935 & 862452046282927 under cover of seizure in presence of available witnesses. Then all the apprehended persons were brought to GRPS/Bhadrak. Two apprehended persons namely Sk.Firoj&Aruna Rout @ Kathia were connected with GRPS/Bhadrak case No- 16/2021, dtd.11.03.2021 U/S 380 IPC regarding the theft of mobile phone in train No-02821 in between Jajpur Keonjhar road-Cuttack on 10.03.2021 & Chotta@ Kamala@ Kamala Kanta Das connected into GRPS/Bhadrak case No-06/2021, dt.15.01.2021 U/S 380 IPC regarding the theft of mobile phone in train No-02873 in between Balesore-Bhadrak on 15.01.2021. After completion of all legal formalities all the above 03 accused persons were produced before Hon’ble SDJM/Bhadrak and remanded to Jail custody.

20. On 06.04.2021 at about 04:00 hrs, on getting information a joint drive was conducted by IPF T.S.Swamy & Constable B.Y.Naidu of RPF Post/Visakhapatnam and SI/B. Appala naidu & RPC-640 K.Siva Ganesh GRPS/Visakhapatnam, at Visakhapatnam RS. During the course of the same noticed one person in suspicious condition on PF No. 2 & 3 North end of Visakhapatnam Railway station. On seeing the uniform persons the outsider tried to escape from there. Immediately the above RPF & GRP personnel caught hold him. On being asked he disclosed his name and address as Ronanki Giri Babu, aged:-24 years, S/o (L) Papa Rao, R/o Palli veedi, Kasibuga Town, Palasa (Md), Srikakulam (Dist). On thorough interrogation by GRPS/Visakhapatnam, the apprehended person admitted that he had committed theft of 01 mobile phone(valued Rs-10,000/-) on 29.03.2021 in Train No-.07481 at Visakhapatnam RS vide GRPS/Visakhapatnam registered case No- 69/2021 dt- 04.04.2021 u/s-379 IPC. On further interrogation he also disclosed that he had committed theft of one handbag with Mobile (valued Rs-15,000/-) on 02.04.2021 on PF No. 2 in train No.07481 at Visakhapatnam RS vide GRPS/Visakhapatnam registered case No-71/2021 dt 02-04-2021 u/s 379 IPC and one mobile phone (valued Rs-8,000/-) on 18.03.2021 on PF No-03 of Visakhapatnam RS in Tr.No.07480, Puri-Tirupathi Express vide GRPS/Visakhapatnam registered case No- 50/2021 dt 18-03-2021 u/s- 379 IPC. All the 03 mobile phones (valued Rs-33,000/-) were recovered from above named person and he was connected with the above noted 03 cases. He was produced before Hon’ble VI MM Railway court and remanded to judicial custody.

21. On 06.04.2021 getting information from DSCNL/KUR through Rail Madad complaint regarding left behind one helmet in train No-08478 Yog Nagari Risikesh-Puri Exp in coach No-DL-2, berth No-09 having PNR no-2418512673 after getting down at JJKR railway station. On receipt of information Con-S.K.Jamuna & Con- A.K.Majhi of RPF/post/Cuttack attended the said train on arrival at Cuttack R/S PF-3 at 01.13 hrs and could able to recovered the Helmet. In this regard, intimation was given to intimation to the complainant. Accordingly, the complainant namely Arun Kumar Mahato, S/O-Lokhapati Mahato R/O-Mundatand, Raghunathpur, Sareikala, Kharashuan, attended RPF/Post/Cuttack at 19.00hrs and the helmet was handed over to him with due verification and proper acknowledgement. The approx value of the recovered helmet is Rs-1650/-.

22. On 06.04.2021 at-11.50 hrs SIPF-P.Harish Kumar along with LC-Y. Indira conducted a drive in PRS area of Brahmpur station, during the drive they got one Samsung smart mobile phone valued Rs.10,000/- (approx). On being asked about the phone no passengers came forward to claim the mobile phone. So, the said mobile phone was brought to RPF/Post/Brahmpur. After some times, one person namely Randi.Chinnayya Patra, aged.33 years, S/o-Randi Ramayya Patra, R/o-Gedalapalli, Chikalakhandi, Ps-Chatrapur, Dist-Ganjam, Odisha. attended RPF/Post/Brahmpur at 13.30hrs and stated that his mobile phone was missing in the PRS/Brahmapur. Further, he stated that during purchase a ticket he left behind his mobile and went home. After reaching home he realized that his mobile phone was left behind in PRS/Brahmapur. Then he went to PRS/Brahmapur and enquired about it during which he came to know that his mobile phone was taken by RPF officials. Then the mobile phone was handed over to him after proper verification of IMEI no and SIM card No with proper acknowledgement. The above-named person expressed happiness for such of assistance by RPF/Brahmpur.

23. On 07.04.2021 during course of round conducted by SIPF S K Rao along with L/SIPF V.Keerthi Reddy of RPF/Post/Vishakhapatnam under the supervision of PC/RPF/Vishakhapatnam noticed one minor girl moving on Platform no. 01 without any guardian or elder person in distressed condition. On seeing this, the above named officer and staff interacted with the girl and on being asked politely she disclosed her name and address as SrabaneMallik aged about 17 years, D/O Rameswar MAllik, R/O Bahabal village, Belapara, Balangir, Odisha and also stated that, she has left her home without any intimation to her parents due to quarrel with her mother. In this regard information was given to her parents through mobile No. 8658831967 as well as to GRPS/VSKP, CWC/Visakhapatnam and SS/ Visakhapatnam. Accordingly SS on duty/VSKP made a diary entry vide no. 971/5 dated 07.04.2021 and rescued girl was sent for Covid-19 test at railway hospital Visakhapatnam and which shows negative. After that the said girl produced before CWC/ Visakhapatnam who orderd to hand over the rescued girl to government special cum children home and observation home for girls, Visakhapatnam with proper acknowledgement for further legal action.. In this regard SS on duty again made dairy entry Vide No.971/5 dated 07.04.2021. During the course of rescue proper S.O.P was followed.

24. On 07.04.2021 at about-07.10 am, while ASI A.K.Mohanty & CT-P.D.Singh of RPF/Post/Puri were engaged in checking of empty Coaches of train No.08451 [Tapaswi Express], which arrived at Puri Railway Station Platform No.04 at about-07.00 am. During the course of checking they retrieved one air bag which was kept under the berth No.43 [lower berth] of Coach No.A-1 [AC-2 tier] in unclaimed condition. On checking the bag found containing original educational certificate [matric to PG], bank related documents, clothes, money purse with liquid Cash Rs-2700/-, Adhar Card in the name of Renu Kumari Nag, At-Chaibasa, Dist-West Singh Bhumi [Jharkhand]. Further it was found that, contact number of the concern Passenger was mentioned on the cover page of educational file . Accordingly the above named RPF Staffs brought the same to RPF/ Post/ Puri & made contact with the concern passenger. On receipt of information the lady passenger attended RPF Post Puri at about -12.30 hrs of 07.04.2021 & stated that, she is working in Ranchi & on the evening of 06.04.2021 she boarded in train No.08451 [Hatia- Puri] Tapaswini Express vide PNR No.6811708348, Coach No.A-1, Seat No.43 for her examination at Bhubaneswar, but after arrival of the said train at Bhubaneswar Railway station she got down from the train with other items leaving behind her air bag. On the way she remembered about her bag as all the educational documents were kept inside the bag, so she was worried because her examination was fixed on 08.04.2021. Immediately she returned to Station to search her bag, but the above train was already left from Bhubaneswar railway station. Subsequently she received a call from RPF/ Puri about recovery of her bag, so she came at Puri by hired vehicle. Subsequently the retrived bag was handed over to her with proper acknowledgement. After receipt of her Original educational documents & other items, she appreciated the honesty & follow-up action of RPF Officials.

25. On 08.04.2021 the train escorting RPF staff, H/C 9325 B Ramu of RPF/Post/Vishakhapatnam of T.No. 02728 (HYB –VSKP) special Express Ex. Duvvada to Visakhapatnam received a phone call from on duty RPF staff of Anakapalli (SC Rly) regarding forgotten of one Samsung mobile phone by one bonafied passenger Viz. Anamaneni Gopi R/o NGO’s Colony, 5th line, Sreeram nagar, Hothuru vill. College Junction, Anakapalli Mandal, Dist. Visakhapatnam having PNR No- 4311528905 EX Secunderabad to Ankapalle , berth no 15 of S-2 coach of train no 02728 special express . On receipt of information the said RPF staff Visakhapatnam attended the said coach and retrieved the mobile phone which was connected with the charging point near the said berth. Accordingly information was given to the passenger. On getting information the above named passenger attended RPF/post/ Visakhapatnam and the retrieved mobile phone (Valued Rs-15000/-) handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

26. On 08.04.2021 at about-03.55 hrs train No.08478 (Yog Nagri Rishikesh-Puri) Express arrived at Puri Railway Station on PF No.07. On arrival of the said train, before locking of the coaches on duty ASIPF J.M Sundray & H/C S.K.Mishra of RPF/Post/Puri conducted safety checking and during the checking they noticed one sky bag was lying near seat no. 22 of coach No.S-5.. After adopting all the security formalities the bag was brought to enquiry office Puri and continuous announcement was done through PA system with the help of commercial staff but nobody came forward to claim the bag. On checking, found the bag was containing some valuable documents and one Samsung J-7 Mobile phone (valued:- Rs10000/- aprox). After sometime one call received in the recovered phone and the caller gave his identity as Poresh Pandit, aged-46 yrs, S/o-Ghasiram Pandit, R/o-Head Post Office, Bistapur, Po-Bistapur, Kalimali, Jamshedpur Dist-East Singh hum, (JH), who was travelling Ex. Tatanagar-Puri, having PNR. No.2647546931, Berth no. 22 of Coach no S-5. On arrival at Puri R/S he got down but his bag and also he requested to keep his bag at RPF/Post/Puri till his arrival. Accordingly at about 09.30 hrs the owner of the bag attended at RPF/Post/Puri where the above retrieved bag with mobile phone was handed over to him after due verification and proper acknowledgment.

27. On getting source of information from PRABAL DATA regarding procuring of unauthorized Railway E-ticketing at Sigpur Jajpur area. On dated 09.04.2021, SIPF S. Behera along with Sri R K Barick, PC RPF Jajpur K Road, Const-276 A. K. Prusty, Const-9543 N R Dhal, Const-357 M Kumar, Const-5135 C. R. Sethy of RPF Post, Jajpur K Road and Const-10336 R. C. Das of Cyber Cell/Bhubaneswar were proceeded to Singpur, Jajpur area with utility items. The above team attended the SRADHA INFOTECH SHOP of Ajaya Kumar Sahoo, age-29yrs, S/O-Bidyadhar Sahoo, At/PO-Singpur, PS-Binjharpur, Dist-Jajpur, [Odisha] regarding illegal/unauthorized procuring and selling of Railway Reservation E-ticket. On reaching at the shop, they found the shop was in open condition and one person was sitting inside the shop. On being asked the said person disclosed his name and address as, Ajaya Kumar Sahoo, age-29yrs, S/O-Bidyadhar Sahoo, At/PO-Singpur, PS-Binjharpur, Dist-Jajpur, [Odisha] and identified himself as the owner of the shop. At that point the raid party also disclosed their identity and wanted to verify the personal user ID for E-ticket in presence of available witness, as there was complaint, that the owner using personal ID to draw E-Tickets from IRCTC web site through his personal Laptop. On getting permission from the owner a Laptop was verified from 10.45 hrs. The owner of the shop confessed that, he is using 20 Nos. personal IDs as, [1] aul143aul and password “aul1992aul”, [2] aul1992aul and password “aul1992aul”, [3] bus123bus and password bus123bus, [4.bus789bus and password bus123bus, 5. crpf143crpf and password crpf143crpf, 6. jaymaabiraja and password ajay1992, 7. juania123 and password juania123 , 8. kuanar1992 and password kuanar1992, 9. kuanar0433 and password kuanar0433, 10. palimi123 and password palimi123, 11. sahoo33aju and password sahoo33aju, 12. skbehera7538 and password skbehera7538, 13. zak147zak and password zak147zak, 14.zak2020zak and password zak2020zak, 15.zak789zak and password zak789zak, 16. sonu2021sonu and password sonu2021sonu, 17.cuttack2020 and password cuttack2020, 18. zak8917zak and password zak8917zak, 19. jayshreeram2006 and password jayshreeram2006, 20. jayshreeram147 and password jayshreeram147, who gets E-Tickets for his customers from IRCTC web site. On checking IRCTC web site by using the personal ID, the raid party found 07 Nos. future E-Ticket having PNR No-4311413210 value Rs-758.19/- , PNR No-6249120543, value Rs 1498.68/-, PNR No- 6811908906, value Rs 748.19/-, PNR No-4523982708 value Rs 1068.18/-, PNR No- 6349507963 value Rs 1579.17/-, PNR No- 6349507559 value Rs 529.17/-, PNR No. 4624629109 value Rs-278.19/- , Total value of future E-tickets are Rs- 6,459.77/- and 15 Nos. past E-tickets having PNR No.4208471688, 6147153053, 6811581830, 6149262880, 6649217658, 6748723557, 6747376540, 8736175737, 6649399999, 6148816907, 6147059611, 6348192266, 6548279547, 6248150095, 6647997654, Total value of ticket Rs-52,545.85/- and 04 Nos present cancelled ticket PNR No-6749566391, 6749566387, 6349563434 and 6649566289. On being demand the owner failed to provide satisfactory answer for supply of the E-tickets using personal IDs. Further on asking he disclosed that, he used Jio-wifi and software “Speednow” with which he is doing money transaction through net banking, having SBI A/C No.36026275528 of SBI, Singpur. Hence, it is reasonable suspected that the owner “SRADHA INFOTECH” is engaged in a business of Procuring and supply of Railway E-Tickets without any authority and using his personal IDs for his business purpose. Hence, as per direction of Inspector, SIPF S. Behera seized the all recovered E-Tickets, 02 Nos. Hard Disc which was removed from the Laptop and one mobile phone, model No.VIVO-Y-93 in presence of available witnesses. Provided label on the Hard Disc. After completion of other legal formalities, on the spot the shop was handed over to Sri Raj Kishore Sahoo, aged-31 yrs, S/O-Bidyadhar Sahoo, At/PO-Singpur, PS-Binjharpur, Dist-Jajpur, [Odisha] on zimma as per the wishes of the shop owner. Then the detained person was arrested under section 179 (2) Railway Act for committing an offence U/- 143 Railway Act. Then information of arrest was given to his brother. Then the seized property and arrested accused brought to RPF Post , Jajpur K Road at 13.45 hrs on dt-09.04.2021. Subsequently, the arrested person and relevant documents and recovered properties brought to RPF Post, JJKR and given a plain paper occurrence report addressing PC RPF, Jajpur K Road. Accordingly a Crime case vide No. C3C-60/2021, dated- 09.04.2021, U/S-143 Railway Act-1989 [Amended-2003] registered at RPF Post, Jajpur K Road against the arrested person. The accused being forwarded in the Hon’ble Court of JMFC/Jajpur Road for further legal action on dtd 10.04.2021

28. On dated 09.04.2021, during course of rounds conducted by SIPF S K Rao along with L/SIPF V.Keerthy Reddy and Meri Saheli team under the supervision of PC/RPF/Visakhapatnam, at about 13.00hrs noticed one minor girl was moving on Platform no.05 without any guardian of elder person. On that, officers interacted with the girl, who disclosed her name and address as, Anjusha, age- 16 years, D/O Devnarayan, R/O Gandhi Para, Ward No.02, Karamdiha, Wandrafnagar, Balrampur, Chattisgarh-497225 and also stated that, she ran away from her home without any intimation to her parents, due to quarrel with her mother. In this respect information was given to her parents through mobile No. 9340704342,GRPS/ Visakhapatnam, CWC/Visakhapatnam and SS on duty. Accordingly SS on duty, who in turn made diary entry vide no. 939/9 dated 09.04.2021 and rescued girl being sent for Covid-19 test at railway hospital Visakhapatnam and found as Negative. After that, the said girl was produced before CWC,Visakhapatnam where ordered to handed over the rescued girl to government special cum children home and observation home for girls, Visakhapatnam with proper acknowledgement. In this regard SS on duty again made diary entry Vide No.939/9 dated 09.04.2021.

29. On dated 08.04.2021 at about 05.20 hrs, information was received from Train Escorting Staff of T/No. 08518 Visakhapatnam–Korba Exp. regarding 02 male persons who were suspected to have carrying contraband like “Ganja” in 04 nos. of Piththu bags (Air Bag). After receiving the information, IPF/Mahasamund along with the officer and staff attended the RPF Post and a notice was served U/S- 50 of NDPS Act to witnesses. On arrival of said train at Mahasamund Railway Station on PF No. 01 at about 06.01 hrs, identified 02 nos. male persons of coach no. S-12 and their 04 nos. of Air bags(Blue, Red, Black and Maroon colour) and detained with the help of train escorting staff. On being asked, they disclosed their names and address as, 1) Kailash Sahni, age about 28 yrs, S/o- Rajendra Sahni, R/o- Village- Kodarkatta, Post- Barji, PS- Motipur, Dist- Mujaffarpur (Bihar) 2) Santosh Kumar, age about 20 yrs ,S/o- Rajmangal Sahni R/o- Village/Post- Barji, PS- Motipur, Dist- Mujaffarpur (Bihar). Kailash Sahni was carrying 02 nos. of air bags (Blue and red colour) . On being asked about the contents they were carrying inside their bags, both of them could not give any satisfactory answer. On persisting they revealed that, they were carrying contraband articles i.e. “GANJA” and going to Delhi via Bhatapara to sell it any unknown person for their personal gain. As per provision of section 50(1) NDPS Act-1985, both persons were issued noticed by IPF/MSMD in written to offer their option of personal search either in presence of a magistrate/Gazetted officer or by him(IPF/MSMD), on which they consented in writing for personal search by IPF/MSMD. All the 04 bags were opened in presence of weighing man and witnesses and found 07 packets of Ganja wrapped with brown cello tap, having weight 22 Kgs. from the possession of Kailash Sahni and 05 packets of Ganja wrapped with brown cello tap having weight 17.650 Kgs from the possession of Santosh Kumar. All the bags were again packed, sealed, Marked and seized in presence of witnesses on dtd 08.04.2021 by taking sample of 04 packets of 50 grams each from every bag. On further interrogation both accused persons disclosed that, they had collected all the 04 bags from Vishakhapatnam (Simanchalam station) and were going to Delhi by train no. 08518 Exp, up to Bhatapara Railway station and then Delhi by Bus. Further the seized ganja with accused persons were brought to RPF Post, Mahasamund ,where their statements were recorded as well as prepared other relevant documents. Thus, they were found liable for prosecution U/s- 20(b) (ii) (B) NDPS Act-1985, hence IPF/ Mahasamund arrested both of them. Further,medical examination was conducted and both arrested persons with seized property (Total 39.650 Kgs, contraband article i.e. GANJA) Valued Rs.198000/- (One Lakh Ninety Eight thousand Rupees)Approx. were brought to GRPS/Raipur with relevant documents and produced before the IIC/GRPS/Raipur with written FIR for further legal action. Basing upon the FIR, GRPS/Raipur registered a Case vide no. 24/2021 dated 08.04.2021, U/S- 20(b) NDPS Act-1985. The case is under investigation with Sri. R.K. Borjha, Inspector In-Charge of GRPS/Raipur.

30. On dated 09.04.2021 at about 06.20 hrs, on getting information from SCNL/Khurda Road train escorting Party In-Charge [SI Mohan of RPF Post Puri] of train No.02837 [HWH-PURI] Express, regarding left behind of mobile Phone [Model-Real Me-Narzo, valued about-17000/-] of one Bonafide passenger viz. Chandan Ku Pradhan, At-Jhankripali, PS-Khaprakhol, Dist-Balangir [Odisha], who was traveling Ex- Howrah-Bhubaneswar, Coach No.D-2, Seat No.34. On receipt of information, SI Mohan attended the indicated Coach & could able to recover left behind mobile Phone. Subsequently, transmitted the information to SCNL/ Khurda Road & concern Passenger and on the request of above named Passenger, recovered mobile Phone brought to RPF Post, Puri. At about-10.00 hrs the above named Passenger attended RPF Post, Puri and the recovered mobile Phone was handed over to him with due verification & acknowledgement. On receipt the same the concern Passenger appreciated the quick response of RPF train escorting Party.

31. On 10.04.2021 at about-08.45 am, while on duty Officer & Staff [ASI N.K.Sahoo& CT- 349 Manoj Singh] of RPF/Post/Puri were engaged for conducting drive against undesirable elements in Station premises & also safe passing of train No.02088 [Dhouli Express], noticed one minor boy child aged about-16 Years was moving at extreme end of Platform No.01 in alone & confusing state of Puri railway station. On seeing his activities, the on-duty RPF Officer & staff politely interrogated him. During which he disclosed his name & address as Tapas Kumar Das, aged-16 years, S/O-Pranbindu Das, At- Balichaturi, PS-Tihidi, Dist-Bhadrak [Odisha]. Further, he informed that he fled away from his home without the knowledge of his parents two days back due to his parents were angry upon him for study purpose & today morning he came at Puri, but on arrival at Puri, he was totally confused and trying to return from Puri to any other place by available trains. After a preliminary enquiry, he was to "Women &Sishu Help Desk" & provided snacks to create a friendly environment & confidence. ASI/N.K.Sahoo transmitted the matter to his parents [Tihidi] through available resources and his parents informed that they were searching their at nearby areas & relatives home since last 02 days. They also informed that they are coming to Puri as soon as possible. Finally, the rescued minor boy was produced before CWC [Child Welfare Committee] through Childline under intimation to GRPS, DCPO & Station Director for further rehabilitation & hand over to his parents as per the procedure of law. In this regard, SS/Puri made station diary entry vide No-469/A dt 10-04-2021. During rescue, all the guidelines followed as per SOP.

32. On 10.04.2021 at about 00.20 hrs, during the course of checking at Signal Goomty of Boinda Railway station by on-duty staff HC-21 S.K.Biswal of RPF/Out Post/Boinda noticed one minor girl was crying by the side of the Railway track at Km No.116/9 under road overbridge near Boinda Railway station. On seeing this he attended the spot duly informing the matter to A.K.Garanayak, SIPF/OP/Boinda and rescued the said minor girl and brought her to Station Master’s office/Boinda Railway station. On asking her the said rescued minor girl disclosed her identity as Bijuli Mukhi, age-17 yrs, D/o-Ramesh Mukhi, R/o-Nunukapasi, PS-Handapa, Dist-Angul (Odisha) and stated that she had come to commit suicide due to a quarrel with her elder brother. In this connection on duty, SM/Boinda made a station diary entry vide No.912 dtd.10.04.2021. Immediately, A.K.Garanayak, SIPF/Boinda physically attended the house of rescued minor girl and informed the matter to her parents, who in turn attended Boinda Railway station accompany with SIPF/Boinda and identified the rescued minor girl as their daughter. Accordingly, after completion of all legal formalities, the rescued minor girl was handed over to her parents under proper acknowledgement in presence of on-duty SM/Boinda at about 01.00hrs on the same date. In this respect on duty, SM/Boinda again made a station diary entry vide No.913 dtd.10.04.2021. During the rescue, all the guidelines followed as per SOP.

33. On 10.04.2021 during the course of rounds conducted by ASI Ch.V. Bhaskar along with SI Cadet Ch. Mahesh and ASI V. Srihari of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam at Visakhapatnam station on PF No. 1 on the arrival of Train No. 02806 New Delhi – Visakhapatnam Spl. During the course of which at about 04.20hrs, noticed the lying of One laptop bag on berth No-56 of Coach No. B-4 of train No-02806. On verification of the bag in presence of witnesses found one HP Laptop and New Samsung S-9 Mobile phone and One Identity card in the name of T. Saroja, Deputy Inspector General, Stamps and Registration department. Hence the above-named officers retrieved the bag and brought to RPF Post/Visakhapatnam with intimation to GRPS/Visakhapatnam. Then the officers were engaged to trace out the address. In the meantime about 08.45hrs One Mr. D. Srinivasan, Joint director, Social welfare along with his spouse namely Smt. T. Saroja Deputy Inspector General, Stamps and Registration department, came to GRPS/Visakhapatnam to lodge an FIR regarding the forgotten of their laptop bag. GRPS/Visakhapatnam staff brought them to RPF Post/Visakhapatnam. On being asked T.Saroj stated that he travelled by train No. 02806 ex. Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam vide PNR No. 2547237227 in coach No. B-4 berth No. 56 but forgotten his laptop bag containing Laptop & New Samsung phone(valued Rs-1,10,000/-). The laptop bag containing laptop and mobile phone was handed over to T. Saroja after proper verification under proper acknowledgement in presence of GRPS/Visakhapatnam. 34. On 10.04.2021, at about 07.10 hrs on duty Con-80155 G.Rama Rao of RPF/Post/Srikakulam received information from one bonafide passenger viz.Abotula Siva aged- 28yrs, S/o Minnarao, R/o Door No 2-69, Main Street, L.N.Peta (Village), Symalapuram (Post & Mandalam), Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh that, on 09.04.2021 he boarded in train no. 02874 (YPR- HWH) Special Express at Kuppam Railway station for Srikakulam Road Railway Station having PNR No. 441- 1046229 in S-1 (Sleeper) coach berth No-38. After completion of his journey, he hurriedly de-boarded from the said train at Srikakulam Railway Station on PF No.2 at 07.03hrs but unfortunately left behind his Green Color luggage bag (containing old clothes and his mother medicine valued Rs-5,000/-) in his berth No-38 in S-1 coach of the said train and the train was left from Srikakulam Road Railway Station at 07.06hrs. On duty, RPF Constable No.80155 G.Rama Rao after receiving the information intimated to shift officer namely ASI/M.A.Rao. Immediately the matter was informed to on duty seal checker at Palasa namely Constable- P.S.A.Rao of RPF/Post/Srikakulam who performed A-Shift duty (Joint Seal checker at Palasa Railway station) to attend the train and recover the said left behind luggage bag. After receiving the same information Con.P.S.A.Rao of RPF/Post/Srikakulam attended the train and recovered the left behind the bag. The recovered left behind luggage was brought to RPF/Post/Srikakulam by train No-08463 (Prasanthi) Special Express and handed over to Abotula Siva with proper acknowledgement and the value of total Rs.5000/- approximately and he gave thanks to RPF for quick action. 35 . On 09.04.2021 during Train Escorting duty of T/NO-02836 Exp EX: Rayagada to Ttitlagar by the staff of RPF/post/Titlagarh, the Train Escorting party in charge Con-239 D.Mahji got information over mobile phoned from Con- S.Biswal of RPF/Post/Rayagada that one passenger namely Prasanna Senapati, aged- 23 years, S/o-Madhusudan Senapati, R/O- Saradhapur, Tembaguda, Padmapur, Rayagada, Odisha was travelling by T/NO-02836(Yeswantpur-Hatia) Exp. on 08.04.2021 Ex: Gudur Zn to Rayagada in S6 Coach, Berth No-40, vide PNR NO-4830843883, during the same when he got down from the train at Rayagada Railway station unfortunately left behind his one Pithu bag on his berth. After getting the information on duty Train Escorting party of RPF/Post/Titlagarh attended the said coach and recovered the bag from the seat and informed Rayagada Post about the recovery of the left- behind luggage. Then contacted the victim passenger over mobile phone No-6385276627 and intimated him about the recovery of the bag. Then TE party prepared inventory list in presence of co-passenger and on duty TTE of the said train and found one-hand watch, new clothes ( Jeans paint, T-Shirt), Addidas Shoes, Power bank, Mobile charger, Valid journey ticket (Total value of all recovered items approx RS 8,000/-) and informed accordingly about the recovery items inside the bag to the victim passenger who acknowledges the same as his own. Then the recovered bag was brought to RPF/Post/Titlagarh and handed over to the on-duty TA + DW Duty staff with intimation to PC/RPF/Titlagarh.and informed to OC/RPF/Titlagarh. As requested by the victim passenger that he belongs to near Rayagada area and to sent his bag to Rayagada then the bag was sent to RPF/Post/Rayagad through T/Escorting party of 08517 Exp. of dtd- 10.04.2021 and handed over to Con- S.Biswal of RPF/Post/Rayagad with proper acknowledgement with intimation to the victim passenger to collect the bag from RPF/Post/Rayagada. Later on the same date(10-04-2021)the victim passenger attended RPF/Post/Rayagada and identified his recovered bag. Then the bag was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement and due verification. He highly appreciated the good work done by the RPF Train Escorting party.

36. On the evening of 10.04.2021 at 20.00 hrs PM, while on duty Officers & Staff of Puri [SI/P.K. Roul & Con-0280 Sukuru Behera] were engaged for checking of Station area to prevent Criminal activities, noticed one minor child aged about-15-16 Years was moving in Station Circulating area in alone & isolated state. On seeing his activities, RPF Staff politely asked about his identity. During which he gave out his name & address as Sk. Abdul, aged about-16 Yrs, S/O-[Late] B. Abdul, At & PS-Jatni, Dist-Khurda [Odisha]. Further, he also disclosed that last few months back his father has been expired & he is residing with his bother & other family members, but now his elder brother didn't ready to bear his expenses, so he was angry upon him & fled away from his home without the knowledge of his family members with a plan to go other places. RPF Staff made efforts to get contact number & other details about his family, but he couldn't explain much more due to his confusion. Finally after completion of the preliminary enquiry, the rescued minor boy produced before CWC [Child Welfare Committee] through Childline under intimation to GRPs, DCPO and Station Director for further rehabilitation. In this connection, SS Puri made D.E. No.471 [B] dt 10-04-2021. During rescue all the guidelines followed by RPF Staff as per SOP.

37. On 11.04.2021 at 06.14 hrs. a Rail Madad complaint was received from DSCRL/Khurda road at 06.15 hrs regarding left behind one helmet coach No-D-1, berth No-20 of T/No-18451 Hatia-Puri spl exp on dtd 11.04.2021. After receiving information the train escorting party in charge ASI/A.K.Jena with Con 9527 B.K Barik of RPF/Post/Puri immediately attended coach No-D-1 and recovered the helmet near seat no-20 and brought to RPF/Post/Puri for further disposal. Accordingly, the information has given to DSCR/Khurda road as well as to the complainant. On 11.04.2021 at 10.00hrs complaint Namely-Umakanta Barik,aged-43 yrs, S/o- Udhab Charan Barik, R/o-Talcher Thermal, Sec-4, 22/90, PS-Talcher, Dist-Angul, Odisha, attended RPF/Post/Puri and stated that he was travelling from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar vide PNR No-6349579811 and got down at Bhubaneswar railway station but mistakenly he left behind his helmet(valued Rs-2,700/-). He produced his identity and journey details and requested to hand over the recovered helmet. After verifying his identity, the helmet was handed over to Umakanta Barik with proper acknowledgement. He also appreciated the effective action & honesty of RPF/Post/Puri staff & the working procedure of RPF Help Line No.139.

38. On 11-04-2021 night while V R Singh,PC/RPF/Bhadrak, HC-1850 T.Sahoo,HC-4778 S.Majhi,Con-9512-P.R.Parida and Con-P.K.Panda along with the officer and staff of GRPS/Bhadrak conducted patrolling to prevent property offence case i.e against TOPB offenders. At about 5.00 hrs the joint team detected 2 nos of TOPB offenders namely A1)Raju @ Rajesh Behera, aged 36 Years, S/O(L) Purna Chandra Behera, Vill-Dahanigadhia, PS-BhadrakTown, Dist-Bhadrak& A2)Jitu @ Jitendra Singh, aged 29 years, S/O-RabinarayanSingh,vill-Santhia (Nilakanthapur), PS-PurunaBazar, Dist-Bhadraak, Odisha while they were de- boarded from train No- 02250 New Tinsukia-KSR Bangalore city Junction Exp when the train was passing in slow motion in Railway yard of Bhadrak station and ran away towards north side LC gate area. On checking/search to both of apprehended persons found 06 nos of stolen mobiles handset(valued Rs-1,40,000/-) with them which were recovered. During interrogation both confessed their involvement in a number of undetected cases of TOPB and leading to their confession another 08 nos branded handset phones including one I.Phone cost about 1,15,000/- were recovered. The above two outsiders were connected with Bhadrak GRPS case No-56, dtd.24.11.2020, U/S 380 IPC, case No-5, dtd.14.01.2021 U/C 380 IPC and Balesore GRPS case No-92, dtd.28.12.2020, U/S 380 IPC. The accused persons were arrested and forwarded in the Hon’ble court of SDJM/Bhadrak and remanded to Jail custody.(Total 14 Nos mobile phones recovered valued Rs 2,55,000).

39. On 12.04.2021 at night while performing duty from 00.00 hrs. by STF (Special Task Force) RPF of KUR division with GRP/BBS joint team RPF personnel i.e HC.3364 T.K.Mohapatra, Const.257 D.K.Pradhan and Const.9428 S.K.Pradhan in plain cloth under the supervision of J.Behera, SIPF to prevent/detect TOPB at BBS station. At about 03.30 hrs. of 12.04.2021, team noticed one unknown male person snatched a mobile phone from pant pocket of one male person to take opportunity of dozing near main gate adjacent of PF no.1 and tried to flee from spot. While the victim shouted mobile phone thief. On hearing screaming joint RPF/GRP STF team surrounded the culprit and caught at spot. The recovered stolen mobile phone with culprit brought to GRPs/BBS. On being asked to victim disclosed his name and addressed mentioned above and stated that he came to BBS Rly station at night and taking rest to proceed his native place at Angul in the morning of 12.4.2021.The victim identified his mobile phone and lodged a complaint with GRPs/BBS. Basing on complaint, GRPs/BBS has been registered a case vide no.26 dtd.12.04.2021 U/S 379 IPC and the accused forwarded in the Hon’ble court SDJM/BBS for further legal action.

40. On 12.04.2021 at about-13.30 hrs, Officer's & Staff of Puri [SI P.K.Roul, LC- Aparajita & CT 9557 MD. A.U.Khan of CIB unit] while engaged for conducting drive against un desirable elements in Station area to prevent Criminal activities against passengers, noticed 01 minor girl aged about 16-17 years was sitting alone & worried state in front of Railway reservation counter. On seeing her suspicious activity, RPF team politely interrogated her. During which she gave out her name & address as Santosini Gauda, aged-17 Yrs, D/O- Kailash Chandra Gauda, At-Barada Balli, PS- Dharakote, Dist-Ganjam [Odisha]. During close interrogation she further informed that 11.04.2021 she fled away from her home without knowledge of her family members due to love affair with one Uma Sankar Swain of Karatali, Ganjam [Odisha], who instructed to her to move from Puri-Chennai with the above person by first available train today. After counseling she given contact number of her father [7853899190]. On being contact made with her father Kailash Chandra Gauda, it could be learnt that on 11.04.2021 at about 11.00 hrs she went from her home & till now they searching her nearby the locality, relatives and friends. After received information they requested to keep her daughter in safe custody and they will be reaching Puri as soon as possible. As the above detained girl was minor, so she brought to Child Help Desk Puri & finally after completion of preliminary enquiry she produced before CWC through Child line under intimation to GRPs, DCPO & Station Director for further rehabilitation & hand over to her parents as per the legal procedure. In this regard SS Puri D.E. No. 478/D. During rescue all the guidelines followed by RPF Staff as per SOP.

41. On 12.04.2021 at about 17.00hrs during course of rounds conducted by SIPF S.K. Rao, and Const. Ch. Dhananjaya Rao of RPF post/Vishakhapatnam received information regarding left behind of one bag with lap top (Valued Rs-30000/-) in Train No. 02740 Garibrath express Hydrabad-Vishakhapatnam on berth No.21 of Coach No. B-18. On getting information the above named officder and staff attended the said train and retrieved the bag and intimated to the owner of the bag. Further one person Viz. Saikrishna R/o. D.No. 1-58-9/4, Sec-2, MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam ( mobile no. 8142040434) came to the post and showed his identity and PNR details. After proper verification the retrieved bag handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

42. On dtd-12.04.2021, at about 10:25 hrs information received from RPF/Post/Anakapalli regarding left behind of mobile phone in S/1 coach of T/No. 07487 Covid Spl. Accordingly message was conveyed to on duty PF staff CT/6206 V Ravi Kumar. The said train arrived at Duvvada Railway station on PF No.4 at 10:58hrs. On duty RPF staff of RPF/Post/Duvvada CT/6206 V Ravi Kumar attended the said train and retrieved the left behind mobile phone. In this regard information was conveyed to RPF/Post/Anakapalli. At about 13:30 hrs owner of the mobile phone attended at RPF/Post/Duvvada and produced his identity as Shri. CH Sai Kumar who was travelling in T/No. 07487 from Nellore to Visakhapatnam having PNR No.473-1059569 in S/1 coach berth No.16. After verification the mobile (Valued Rs.18,000/-) was handed over to him under proper acknowledgement.

43. On dtd-12.04.2021 at about 16.18 hrs, a rail madad complaint no. 2021041201184 was received regarding left behind of 01 Samsung mobile phone at Vishakhapatnam Railway Station. On getting the complaint SIPF Farid Saha of RPF/Post/Vishakhapatnam attended PF No-04 and attended the Janahar , retrieved the mobile phone (Samsung J6) and after some times the complainant Viz. T.Suresh , At- Kochuvilla veedu, Alunchary, yeroor(post) Kollam(dist), Kerala – 691312 attended at RPF/ Post/Vishapatnam at about 21.30hrs. On enquiry it could be learnt that the complainant was traveling from New Jalpaigudi to Kollam by T/no. 05906 coach no. B1 berth no.04 vide PNR no. 6548880118. After arrived the train at VSKP R.S PF-4 the complainant got down from the train and went to Janahar at PF-1 for meals and forget his mobile at Janahar counter and again boarded in the above noted train. After due verification the mobile (Valued Rs – 9000/-) handed over to him after proper verification with proper acknowledgement with photography.

44. On dated 12.04.2021 at 09.20 PM SI GROP Jajpur K Road received a written report from Complaint Bijay Kumar Majhi, aged-32 yrs, S/O-Maniram Majhi, Vill-Thakurpatna, PS- Panikoii, Dist- Jajpur. [Odisha] Mob No-8908540412 that, he is working as a labour at Railway Godown Jajpur K Road and on dtd.12.04.2021 morning hours he parked his Motor Cycle (Splendor) bearing Regd. No-OD-04- C-1808 valued Rs-20,000/- with proper locking of its handle in front of Railway Mal Godown. At about 12.30hrs, he returned back to the parking place and found his Motorcycle was missing from there. Immediately, he informed to RPF and GRPS officer of Jajpur K Road. On receipt of the complaint, P. K. Naik, SI GROP Jajpur K Road and SI S. Behera of RPF Post Jajpur K Road conducted search nearby areas and apprehended one person with recovery of above said Motor Cycle at about 1 Km. distance from spot On being asked the said person confessed that, he had taken the motorcycle from Station premises by breaking its lock and also disclosed his name and address as, Balaram Tarai, aged-28 years, S/O:-Purna Chandra Tarai. Vill- Baladia, PS-Korai, Dist-Jajpur [Odisha]. Basing upon the report of complainant, OIC/GRPS/Bhadrak registered a Case vide No.22/2021 dt-12.04.2021, U/S- 379 IPC and directed SI P.K Naik to continue investigation of the case. The accused was forwarded in the Hon’ble Court if SDJM/Bhadrak on dt-13.04.2021 for further legal action. The case is under investigation by GROP/Jajpur K Road.

45. On dated 13.04.2021 on duty train escorting party Constable-239 D.Mahji, during his train escorting duty by T/NO-08517 Exp. Ex. Titlagarh to Rayagada while checking, at about 01.00 Hrs he recovered one mobile phone which was lying inside Coach no-B1, in between Seat no-04 and 07. Then the said Constable enquired in said Coach and one passenger viz. Surulal Deep, Age about-45 yrs, S/O-Dasarathi Deep, AT-Gandhinagar pada, Ward no-10, PS-Kantabanji, Dist-Bolangir, of Berth no-04 identified his mobile phoned( Appo ) of valued Rs. 16,000/- stated that, while he was sleeping he kept his mobile phone at the side of his berth, but mistakenly fallen down from his seat. Then, on duty RPF staff verified his mobile number as stated by him as 8347829346. After confirmation, the recovered mobile phone was handed over to the passenger in presence of on duty CTI , Co-Passenger and on duty STF with proper acknowledgement. For this act, the passengers of said coach highly appreciated on duty RPF Train Escorting Party.

46. On dated.12.04.2021, a passenger viz. Sri Satyapal Singh Hora, aged about 47Yrs, S/o- Balvant Singh Hora, R/o- Budhikhar Gali, Dayal Bandh, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, who was travelling along with his family members by T.No. 08517 from Korba to Khariar Road, having PNR No. 634-9201008, Coach no. S-8, Seat no. 17 to 22. At the time of de-boarding at Khariar Road Railway station, he left behind his Red Colour Trolley bag (Containing clothing items, perfume, medicines, shoe and Cash Rs. 14,500/-) Since the train left from Khariar Road Railway station, he informed RPF about the matter. Further the information relayed to Train Escorting party of RPF/Post/Mahasamund, on which Gopi Singh, ASIPF/Mahasamund along with staff who were performing duty in train no. 08517 exp, could able to recover the said trolley bag and after verification, they brought the same bag with Cash Rs. 14500/- to RPF/Post/Mahasamund and the passenger was informed to take his left behind bag. Further, on dtd. 13.04.2021 at about 11.00 hrs, one person viz. Vajir Arora, aged-40 years, S/o- Daljit Singh Arora, R/o- Jain Mandir Road, Gandhi Chowk ke pass, PS & Dist. Mahasamund (C.G.) (relative of passenger Satyapal Singh Hora) attended at RPF/Post/Mahasamund and requested that, as per guideline of COVID-19, Satyapal Singh Hora(Bag Owner) was not allowed to enter to Mahasamund (C.G.) from Khariar (Odisha), hence he requested to hand over his left behind luggage to his relative viz. Vajir Arora, S/o- Daljit Singh Arora. Further M.K. Sahu, SIPF/Mahasamund produced him the said recovered bag and cash Rs. 14500/-.After proper verification and documentation, the retrieved bag with cash Rs.14500/- was handed over to him on proper Zimmanama. He thanks to RPF Team Mahasamund. (Retrieved bag, total valued Rs. 25,000/- Approx.)

47. On dated 10.04.2021, a lady passenger viz. Smt.Veeri Vani W/o- V.ChalapathiRao, Age-46 yrs, R/o- No.402, Jyothi Springs, Kamalapuri Colony, Hyderabad, while she was travelling in train no.02759 (TBM-HYD)Exp, A1 Coach, berth no.15 from Nellore to Secunderabad, at 00.45hrs she noticed missing of her hand bag which was containing 1) I-phone X Max, Charger, Headset having mobile No.9390877333, 2) Spects-Bvlgari, 3) Single Gold Bangle wg. about 18 grams, 4) Stone Bangles-2 wg. about 10 grams, 5) Gold and Diamond Studs wg. about 30 grams, 6) Brown beads Chain, 7) Gold Chain with Green Pendant wg. about 16 grams, 8) Gold Chain with beads wg. about 25 grams, 9) Gold white bearl studs wg. about 04 grams, 10) Brown bead studs wg. about 04 grams, 11) Plain Gold Chain with heart shape pendant wg. about 08 grams, 12) Cash 35000/- etc all worth Rs.3,30,000/-. She continued journey up to Secunderabad and lodged a complaint with GRPS/Secunderabad to take necessary action and the case was transferred to GRPS/Vijayawada Jn. on the point of jurisdiction. The said case re registered at GRP/Vijayawada Jn. vide Cr.No. 45/2021, U/Sec- 379 IPC of dt.13.04.2021. As routine process of crime information sharing and analysis, on dtd 10.04.2021 IPF/Vijayawada Jn. passed the details to IPF/Visakhapatnam regarding crime, suspected lady offender and stolen cell phone tracking and its movement. Immediately, IPF/Visakhapatnam formed a team with SIPF S.K.Rao, Lady SI V.K.Reddy, Const. P.A.Rao, HC/A.S.Rao, Lady Constable S.R.Mishra. The team members individually searched the Railway station platforms, railway station surroundings/premises, nearby colony areas. At about 03.00 hrs on 13.04.2021, the lady offender was identified with the stolen property(total valued Rs.3,30,000/-)basing on the above efforts by RPF Post,Visakhapatnam. The GRPS/Vijayawada shown the above arrest with the above same recovery. On 13.4.2021,Lady offender viz. Kumari Pradhan Age- 49 yrs, W/O- Bijaypradhan, R/O- Badansi(V),Baxi Bazar, Cuttack, Odissa, shown as arrested and connected to GRPS/Vijayawada Cr.No. 45/2021, U/S- 379 IPC. On further interrogation, the said Lady offender stated that, her native place is at Baleswar and she shifted along with her husband to Nuasahi of Bhadrak and resided in a rented house. From there they shifted to Khurda and then to Ganjam. Further for her livelyhood she started committing crime at Cuttack area and in this connection, she had one case at Mangalabag Police Station, Cuttack, and there the crime property was recovered by the police. She( at the age of 45 years)had one other case at GRPS/Palasa in the year 2016 vide case NO. 09/2016, U/S -379 IPC. After that registered offence, the GRPS suspects on her that, she was also involved in some TOPB offences in the Railways. During Lock down period, in the year 2020 she resided at Brahmapur. Recently on 08.04.2021, she came to Vizianagaram by Prasanti exp.and thereafter by some unknown train she went to Vijayawada, where she committed theft of lady bags at Vijayawada Railway Station from train no. 02759 exp. Coach no.A1and berth no. 52 of the (above said) passenger viz.Smt. Veeri Vani(journey from NLR to SC). Further morning hours of 10.04.2021, she arrived at Vishakhapatnam by one unknown train.

48. On dtd 14.04.21 information received from SS/Cuttack, as stated by Goods guard at route No-7 on static position, one lady came there and tried to commit suicide . On receipt of the information, LSI R.Mahananda with LC D.Das of RPF/Post/Cuttack rushed to the spot and saved the said lady and brought to RPF Post. On being asked, learnt her name as, Runa Mohapatra,Age -26 yrs, W/O- Manoranjan Mohapatra ,R/O/PS-Chauliaganja , Cuattack and she stated due to family disputes, she tried to commit suicide. LSI R. Mahanda collected the contact number of her father and informed the matter. On getting information, her father Siba Behera and relatives attended at RPF Post, Cuttack. The rescued woman was handed over them with proper acknowledgement due intimation to Chauliaganj/LPS & GRPS/Cuttack. In this connection, SS/Cuttack made a Diary Entry vide No. 647/O dtd.14.04.2021.

49. On dated 13.04.2021 received information from SCNL/Khurda Road over phone about one luggage (trolley bag) was left behind on rear GS Coach of Train No.01019 at Brahmapur Station of a passenger viz. Irsad Ahmed. On getting information, Const-C.Behera of RPF Post/Balugaon attended the said Coach of Train No. 01019 at Balugaon Station, retrieved the said bag and brought to RPF Post/Balugaon. The information was conveyed to the owner of the bag by TA on duty. On 14.04.2021 at about 11.00 hours, the said passenger attended RPF Post/Balugaon and submitted a written application to receive his luggage, having Aadhar No.917743643085, Mob No.9337390696, S/O-Md.Mustafa, Vill-Kerwaniya, Post-Tenwa grant, PS-Misranliya, Dist-Sidarthnagar(UP), PIN-272192 having EFT No.845258, Vijaywada – Bhubaneswar of T.No.01019. The retrieved bag with articles handed over to him, after proper verification and acknowledgement. Valued Rs.5000/-.Approx.

50. On the evening of 15.04.2021 at about-17.30 hrs, while officers & Staff of RPF/Post/Puri [SI P.K.Roul, ASI N.K.Sahoo & STF team i.e. (CT-9563 D.R.Muduli, CT-243 Seema Sahoo, CT-349 Manoj Singh] were engaged for conducting drive against UDE in Station area & also to prevent Criminal activities against passengers, noticed one unknown male person was taking precautions to conceal himself & subsequently trying to flee away. On seeing his activities RPF team chased & caught him within the Railway limit. During interrogation, he gave out his name & address as G.Akash, aged-19 Years, S/O-G.Dashrathi, At-Belagontha, BediriSahi, PS-Bhanjanagar, Dist-Ganjam [Odisha]. Two Nos of android Phones [Model-OPPO, valued Rs-30,000/- approx] also recovered from his possession. Further, he confessed that he had taken both the mobile Phones from different persons & also his involvement in various passenger offence cases. After a preliminary inquiry, the RPF team gave a written report to GRPS/Puri along with the arrested person & recovered Mobile Phones. Basing on the written report GRPS KUR registered a Case vide No.38/2021 dt 15-04-2021 u/s-379 IPC against him. The arrested person is being produced before the Hon'ble Court of SDJM/Puri for further legal action.

51. On 15.04.2021 at about 08.00 hrs OIC/GRPS/Khurda road received a written report from the complainant Sarat Chandra Malla, aged-65 yrs, S/O- Late JagabandhuMalla, Vill- Qtr. No.-IV-A , 11/1, Lane-16, Ashok Nagar, PS-Capital, Bhubaneswar, Dist-Khordha, pin-751009 to the effect that on 27.01.2021 at about 08.30hrs he along with his family members had come to Khordha Railway Station for booking of train tickets. At that time he had left his two vanity bags mistakenly at the ticket counter that were containing i) One Gold Neck Chain-9gm, ii) liquid Cash-2,500, iii). One Mobile Phone-Lenovo A/5, iv) one Mobile Phone-I-phone-7 & and other papers and office keys( Total Valued=Rs.1,24,500/- ). After returning from the ticket counter the complainant/victim suffered from high B.P and due to that, he couldn’t lodge the FIR with GRPS/Khurda road on that day. Then, after getting recovered from the illness he reported the complaint and lodged the same FIR at GRPS/Khurda road on 15.04.2021. As it reveals a Cog case OIC/GRPS/Khurda road registered a case vide No-37/2021 dtd.15.04.2021 U/S 379 IPC. Then acting on credible source information, the joint STF team of RPF/Khurda road comprising, SIPF/Jhapeswar Behera, HC.3364 T.K.Mohapatra, Const.257 D.K.Pradhan, Const.9428 S.K.Pradhan and Const. new Sunaram Soren & GRP/Khurda road conducted a raid at Bikash Nagar/Jatni and could apprehend the culprit namely Bhogia Sabar, aged- 35yrs, S/O-Late BishnuSabar, Vill.-Bikash Nagar, PO/P.S-Jatni, Dist.-Khordha, Odisha and recovered the Mobile sets and the liquid cash from him. As per his further leading necessary verification was made at Indian Bank/Jatni and the gold necklace was recovered from there. The recovery in full was made by RPF and GRPS/Khurda road between 11.00hrs to 15.00hrs of 15.04.2021. Then the accused person with the recovered property was brought to GRPS/Khurda road and is being produced before the Hon’ble court of JMFC/Jatni.

52. On the evening of 15.04.2021 at about-05.30 PM, while on duty Officer's & Staff of Puri [SI P.K.Sethi& CT-10727 N.Mallick ] were engaged for checking of Station area to prevent Criminal activities, noticed one minor child aged about-15 Years was moving in Station circulating area in alone & isolated state. On seeing his activities, RPF Staff detained him & politely asked about his identity. During which he gave out his name & address as Sohan Jena, aged-15 years, S/O-Swadhin Jena, At-Gabakunda, PS-Krushna Prashad, Dist-Puri [Odisha]. Further, he also disclosed that on the night of 14.04.2021 he fled away from his home without the knowledge of his parents as his parents were angry upon him due to his bad friend circle, so he make a plan to go to Kolkata by train. Today(15-04-2021), he came to Puri Railway Station, but due to nonawareness of train timing, he was confused. RPF Staff made efforts to get the contact number of his parents, but he couldn't explain much more due to his confusion. Finally after completion of preliminary inquiry the rescued minor boy was produced before CWC [Child Welfare Committee] through Childline under intimation to DCPO, GRPs & Station Director for further rehabilitation & hand over to his parents. In this regard, SS/Puri made D.E. vide No.492/C dt 15-04-2021. During rescue all the guidelines followed by RPF Staff as per SOP.

53. On 14.04.2021,S.K.Das, ASI/GRP/BBS along with GRP staff & Constable-334 D.K.Rout and Con-286 J.K. Mohanty of RPF/STF team, Bhubaneswar while conducted night checking at Bhubaneswar station area at about 22.30 hrs got information from sources that one person is selling country made liquor Aska 40 Desi liquor inside a shop which is situated in front of old PRS area near city bus stand of Bhubaneswar railway station. On getting information the checking party rushed to the spot and apprehended one person namely Bhabani Shankar Mohapatra, @ Bana, aged 29 yrs, S/O- Jatadhari Mohapatra, Vill/PS- Badatola, PS- Jatni, Dist- Khorda, Odisha with a plastic bag containing 12 bottles of Desi chauli liquor (150 ml each) and 20 Bottles Nos of Aska 40 country-made liquor (200 ml each) in sealed condition. On interrogation, he was not able to produce any legal authority or license in support of those liquor. On further interrogation, he stated that the shop owner Raju Behera, S/O- Sushanta Behera procured the liquor from different areas and nearby areas. As a salesman in his shop with the condition of remuneration of Rs- 4,00/- per day. The shop owner Raja Behera managed to escape from his shop during the time of the raid. Thereafter the apprehended person brought to GRPS/Bhubaneswar for legal action. In this connection, GRPS/Bhubaneswar registered a case vide No- 29/2021 dt 15.04.2021 U/S-52(a)(i) of Odisha Excise Act 2008. Subsequently, the accused was forwarded in the Hon’ble court SDJM/Bhubaneswar for further legal action. (value of seized liquor is Rs- 2,500/- approx).

54. On 15.04.2021, ASI/P.C.M.Rao,Con-23 A.Satyam and Con/CH.Gopal Krishna of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam and Con-374 B Maheswara Rao and Con 631 G.Srinivasa Rao of GRPS/Visakhapatnam under the supervision of IRP/P.Koteswar Rao and IPF/T.S.Swamy of Visakhapatnam/post during checking at Main Entrance gate No-01(Gyanapuram side) of Visakhapatnam RS about 06.00 hours noticed 02 outsiders moving in a suspicious manner. On seeing the police team they tried to flee away from the spot. But immediately the above RPF/GRP joint team surrounded and detained him at the spot. On being asked they disclosed their name and address as i). Arvind Yadav @ Lalla, age 21 years, caste by Ahir S/O Satish Yadav, R/O H.No 77 Gokalpur-Vill, Ateli rural(21)-PS & MD, Mahendragarh-Dist, Haryana- State. Pin Code 123021, Aadhar No.3499 4428 7744, Cell No- 7742860798.ii) Praveen Kumar @ Pankal, age 20 years, caste by jaat, S/o (L) Rajendar, R/O Dhanikurat, Dheni Depal-PS, Dhanderi(117), Hisar-Dist, Haryana- State, Pin code 125033, Aadhar No-928742826887, Cell No-8295560207. During checking found both persons are in possession of 02 bags. Both the bags are containing Ganja packets as i) One Black color Luggage bag containing 04 packets each packet weighing about 2 Kgs total 08 kgs and ii) One Green color Luggage bag containing 04 packets each packet weighing about 2 Kgs total 08 kgs(Total 16 kgs Ganja valued Rs.32,000/-). On interrogation A1- Arvind Yadav @ Lalla disclosed that he was working has daily works in New-Delhi he was studied in BA Degree at Ateli interacted with one unknown person who insisted him to carry Ganja for which he will pay Rs.10,000/- per trip on that he contacted with his friend A2 namely Praveen Kumar @ Pankal to accompany with him to Visakhapatnam and to carry the Ganja to New Delhi. On that, the A2 was accepted and accompany with him on 06.04.2021 by train and arrived Simhachalam on 07.04.2021 and halted/stayed at Naidu Grand hotel from 07.04.2021 to 13.04.2021. On 14.04.2021 both were received 02 bags containing Ganja from one unknown person at the said hotel. Thereafter while they were entering to Railway Station at Gyanapuram gate apprehended the police. As per the provision of NDPS Act 1985, IRP/P Koteswar Rao seized the said Ganja under the cover of the mediator’s report, then the search and seizure report was prepared in presence of Gazetted officer and available witnesses. In this respect GRPS/Visakhapatnam registered a case vide No. 76/2021 U/S 20 (b) (1) (c) r/w 8 (c) of NDPS Act-1985, dt 15.04.2021.
