Revue De Presse 2016 2017

FROM VINCENZO NIBALI TO TANIA CAGNOTTO NEVER WITHOUT PASTA: HOW OUR OLYMPIC ATHLETES ARE PREPARING FOR RIO 2016 From Filippo Magnini to Carlotta Ferlito, from Rossella Fiamingo to Clemente Russo: Ten great champions of Italian sport, in Rio to win a medal, talk about their love of pasta and how carbohydrates are important in the physical preparation for the Olympic Games. Indeed, victory begins at the table! In Brazil, Barilla will be the official pasta supplier for Casa Italia, Italy’s Olympic hospitality house: every day 1,000 servings will be prepared, from Rigatoni to Sedanini, and Mezze Maniche to Gnocchetti Sardi. Childhood dreams and precious lucky charms locked safely away in suitcases: through a few interviews, we discover how our athletes are preparing for the Rio 2016 Olympic adventure. Making no secret of their love of pasta, nor of their intention to eat it at Rio 2016 - in large quantities, even - are the Italian champions on their way to the next Olympics.
