This is the first phytochemical and biological activity reported study of the bark of E. runyonii. The in vitro cytotoxic activity was determined against U251, PC-3, K562, HCT-15, MCF-7 and SKUL human cells, antiinflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant of the ethanolic extract.
