GUIA D’ENTITATS, SERVEIS I EQUIPAMENTS PÚBLICS. ACTIVITATS EXTRAESCOLARS AL BARRI 3-16 ANYS • curs 2015-2016 LES CORTS, LA MATERNITAT I SANT RAMON, PEDRALBES les corts Us presentem la Guia d’entitats, serveis i equipaments públics. Activitats extraesco- lars al barri 3-16 anys. Curs 2015-2016. L’objectiu d’aquesta guia és doble, facilitar a les famílies el coneixement dels agents que organitzen activitats educatives ex- traescolars, i afavorir la difusió i la generació de sinergies entre entitats, serveis i equipaments públics que treballen en un mateix territori. Aquesta guia posa en relleu la importància de l’educació en el lleure que desenvo- lupen les associacions i les entitats dels barris de la ciutat. Aquest curs s’hi incorpo- ra la informació de les entitats, els serveis i els equipaments públics amb activitats extraescolars dirigides a infants i joves de 3 a 16 anys, dels barris de Montbau, al districte d’Horta-Guinardó; la Trinitat Nova, al districte de Nou Barris; i la Vila Olím- pica del Poblenou, al districte de Sant Martí. La publicació d’aquesta Guia és una de les accions del programa Patis Escolars Oberts al Barri de l’Institut Municipal d’Educació, en col·laboració amb el Consorci d’Educació de Barcelona i els districtes municipals. Patis Escolars Oberts al Barri és un programa educatiu que consisteix en l’obertura dels patis de les escoles de la ciutat perquè siguin un espai d’ús públic i dinamització educativa per a infants, joves i famílies fora de l’horari escolar, en cap de setmana i en període de vacances escolars. Des del treball compartit amb les entitats educatives i socials de la ciutat i els serveis i equipaments municipals, als patis escolars que obren les seves portes al barri es realitzen activitats de dinamització educativa de caire cultural i artístic, esportiu, familiar i maletes pedagògiques amb materials lúdics. Totes les activitats de dinamització educativa són gratuïtes, obertes a tothom i compatibles amb el joc lliure. La informació sobre els horaris d’obertura dels patis escolars i les activitats de di- namització educativa es pot trobar als equipaments i els serveis municipals dels districtes i al web del programa (www.bcn.cat/patisoberts). Patis Escolars Oberts al Barri és un programa que impulsa l’obertura d’aquests espais per al seu ús públic, fora de l’horari escolar, en cap de setmana i període de vacances i amb un servei de monitoratge. Els objectius principals de l’obertura dels patis escolars són: • Optimitzar l’ús dels centres escolars potenciant el seu vessant educatiu i social, fent possible un ús del pati entre els col·lectius i/o activitats que es puguin realitzar sense interferències, tot potenciant la seva interrelació. • Donar una alternativa de lleure als infants i joves i les seves famílies, que s’exerceix de forma autònoma en un context segur i de proximitat. La iniciativa municipal Patis Escolars Oberts al Barri compta amb la col·laboració del Consorci d’Educació de Barcelona, la Fundació Jaume Bofill i diverses entitats educatives i socials de la ciutat. Aquestes activitats compten amb un monitor – dinamitzador que Esportives les acompanya. Les activitats de Balls urbans, esports del món, dinamització educativa són gratuïtes, circuit d’habilitats... obertes a tothom i compatibles amb el joc lliure d’infants i adolescents. Els objectius principals de les activitats de dinamització educativa són: • Fomentar el treball dels valors i actituds de respecte, cooperació, Artístiques i culturals esforç i responsabilitat dels infants Tallers de teatre, arts plàstiques, música... i adolescents tot incidint en les capacitats físiques, intel·lectuals i socials. • Fomentar, des del joc compartit com a font d’aprenentatge personal i col·lectiu, la convivència i la cohesió social als barris a partir d’activitats on s’impulsa el plaer de la lectura, En família l’expressió corporal, la comunicació, Tallers de titelles, contacontes, el diàleg i el valor de la diversitat. jocs cooperatius...     Bolstering community ties and its effect on crime: Evidence from a quasi-random experiment Magdalena Dom´ınguez and Daniel Montolio∗ Work in progress - Do not cite without permission This version: February 2019 Abstract In this paper we study the effect of bolstering community ties on local crime rates. To do so, we take advantage of the quasi-random nature of the implementation of a community health policy in the city of Barcelona. Salut als Barris (BSaB) is a policy that through community-based initiatives and empowerment of citizenship aims at improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods. Based on economic and sociological literature it is also arguable that it may affect other relevant variables for overall welfare, such as crime rates. In order to test such a hypothesis, we use monthly data at the neighborhood level and a staggered Differences-in-Differences approach. Overall we find that BSaB highly reduces crimes related to non-cognitive features as well as those where there is a very close personal link (labeled as home crimes), with responses ranging from 9% to 18%. Additionally, female victimization rates drop for all age groups as well as the offense rates of younger cohorts. We argue that such outcomes are due to stronger community ties. Such results provide evidence in favor of non-traditional crime preventing policies. Keywords: crime; community action; differences-in-differences. Ciclo de vida y renovación sociodemográfica: el caso de Montbau en Barcelona RESUMEN El siguiente trabajo analiza la dinámica sociodemográfica de la población del barrio de Montbau en la ciudad de Barcelona con el objetivo de estudiar las dinámicas residenciales que están comportando un rejuvenecimiento de la población en un área altamente envejecida. Se realiza un análisis metodológico mixto (cualitativo y cuantitativo), que contempla la evolución reciente de diversas variables sociodemográficas, así como los testimonios de residentes en el barrio. Ambas perspectivas pretenden aportar una visión de conjunto de los cambios observados y una aproximación futura de la evolución demográfica y urbana de Montbau. El análisis contempla la utilización de diferentes fuentes estadísticas y estudia la evolución de la población y los efectos que tienen sobre la misma los flujos residenciales y migratorios. Las entrevistas a los vecinos permiten conocer especialmente las dinámicas de transmisión intergeneracional de la vivienda. El contexto actual del mercado inmobiliario barcelonés, cada vez más selectivo y excluyente, podría estar potenciando la transformación del perfil sociodemográfico del barrio: aumenta el atractivo para la clase media y disminuye el peso (la presencia) de la clase trabajadora.

Associate director of the Museo Archivo Histórico of the Spanish Society of Neurology. ABSTRACT Introduction. This article describes various historical aspects of healthcare at Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron. Methods. Documentation was collected and reviewed from the historical archive of the city of Barcelona, the archives of the Diocese of Barcelona, and the historical archive of the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya, the manuscripts section of the Biblioteca de Catalunya, and the literature on the Hieronymite monastery of Saint Jerome in Vall d’Hebron and Hospital Vall d’Hebron. Data of healthcare and neurological interest were collected. Results. Today’ s Hospital Vall d’Hebron stands on the site of a farm that belonged to the royal monastery of Saint Jerome in Vall d’Hebron. The monastery, of which only traces remain today, had an infirmary, pharmacy, hostelry, and a hospital for the poor, and provided healthcare to Hieronymite monks, guests, pilgrims, and poor people from the time of its foundation (1393) to its secularisation (1835). The monastery was used as a lazaretto during the yellow fever and cholera epidemics in Barcelona, in 1821 and 1834, respectively. The 1903 urban plan for greater Barcelona allocated the area for the “placement of a hospital.” The fact that the land was owned by the state and the site’ s salutary characteristics made it ideal for the construction of a large healthcare complex outside of the city centre: the Residencia Sanitaria Francisco Franco (1955).

    treballemper una economia més propera Pla de Desenvolupament Econòmic d’Horta-Guinardó 2018-2022 Més col·laborativa · Més social · Més redistributiva · Més propera · Més solidària · Més plural · Més implicada · Més sostenible Benvolgudes i benvolguts, El Pla de Desenvolupament Econòmic d’Horta-Guinardó 2018-2022 neix amb l’objectiu de generar activitat econòmica sostenible i de qualitat, és a dir, arrelada al territori, generadora d’ocupació entre el veïnat, adreçada a la generació de béns i serveis necessaris per a la comunitat i respectant i promovent les singularitats dels barris d’Horta-Guinardó. Impulsat pel Districte d’Horta-Guinardó i Barcelona Activa, el pla compta amb la implicació, participació i aportació de les diferents àrees de l’Ajuntament dedicades a la promoció socioeconòmica així com de les entitats i serveis del territori vinculades. Al llarg d’aquests anys, volem estar al costat de les persones del Districte que busquen feina o pateixen situacions de vulnerabilitat de drets laborals. Per això, aproparem al territori els serveis d’ocupació, oferint-los a Ca n’Andalet i al Mas Guinardó. Estem treballant, també, en nous protocols que ens permetin connectar ofertes amb demandes de contractació de persones dins el mateix territori. En relació amb la creació d’activitat econòmica, un dels principals projectes serà el nou espai de cotreball amb retorn social al barri de la Clota. D’igual manera, impulsarem estudis de viabilitat econòmica de models de negoci i continuarem amb les convocatòries de subvencions a l’activitat socioeconòmica amb impacte territorial i les d’Economia Social i Solidària, recentment engegades i que han suposat més de 130.000€ per a projectes d’aquestes característiques a Horta-Guinardó el 2017.

It has a team of around 7,000 professionals and a 22 buildings budget of 563 million euros. It is located at the base of the Collserola Mountains, in the north of Barcelona, and its area of influence includes the neighbourhoods of 1,146 beds (182 tertiary beds) Horta-Guinardó, Nou Barris and Sant Andreu and the city of Montcada i Reixac, with a population of more than 450.000 inhabitants. One of these, Catalonia, is formed by 4 provinces where Barcelona is its capital and also the second leading city in both size and importance, after Madrid. Its port is one of the most important on the Mediterranean Sea. Barcelona has its own (www.aena.es) from there, you will be able to go the city by taking a train to the Sants station and then on to central Placa de Catalunya. There is also a shuttle bus service which departs every 15 minutes and takes 30 minutes to deliver passengers into the city. Going from the airport to the center of the city by taxi should cost 15 to 18 Euros, depending on traffic conditions. • by metro: Compared to the European standard, Barcelona's metro is relatively small, yet it manages to serve the city quite well. It has 4 lines and they are easy to become acquainted with. Single fares cost €1.25 and a 10 ride ticket costs €6. This study, which was commissioned by the CCCB, aims to analyse the processes of social, economic and symbolic transformation in the Raval neighbourhood. We wish to symbolise these processes by calling this study “From the Xino1 to the Raval”. In other words, we describe how in twenty years the neighbourhood has gone from being the Xino, which is to say a stigmatised area with a reputation of social exclu- sion and neglect, to being a neighbourhood in the middle of a process of renovation, one that is socially and culturally mixed and a place that is visited by residents of Barcelona and visitors from abroad alike.
