Thorney and Burrow Hill Ride 15th September 2019 There was good weather and ground conditions for 80 riders of all ages over long and short distances. And all seem to have enjoyed their day with no mishaps. From the funds raised, £700 has gone to the air ambulance, £150 each to Kingsbury Episcopi Primary School and Muchelney church, £160 to Marie Curie Cancer Care and £100 to Playground Fund. Very grateful thanks go to all the stewards who helped the riders on their way, and the landowners who gave permission for the route to go across their ground. We remember especially those who helped in the past, and are no longer here - Alan Board of Muchelney Ham, Neil Evans of Ash, Steve Perrin of Lower Burrow and Richard England of Thorney.
