Radfahren in Der Provinz Ferrara

Italy’s largest lake is blessed with a temperate climate and diverse landscape. The northern end of the lake, where many of your walking itineraries are based, is a narrow blade which pierces the jagged mountains that once formed the border between Italy and Austria. To the south the lake widens, and the character becomes almost Mediterranean with waterfront cafés, picturesque harbours and small pebbled beaches. Around Lake Garda you will fi nd dense forests of fi rs and pines, lines of twisted olive trees and fragrant lemon groves. This walking holiday takes you on historic lakefront trails, up iron staircases which cling to the rockface above the lake, along dramatic mountain rides and into luscious river valleys. Rest days are spent at leisure, exploring the cultural and historic highlights of Lake Garda, using the ferry to visit the southern reaches of the lake. Return to your charming hotel each day to relax by the pool before enjoying a delicious dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. This holiday is suitable for travel from May to October with the summer months being preferable for better weather and regular public transport options around the lake. -

ASSING Abstract: A study of previously unrevised material yielded numerous additional data regarding the distribution and bionomics of 37 species of Othius, a genus which is here argued to represent a Palaearctic taxon and which now comprises approximately 100 species. The previously unknown male primary and secondary sexual characters of O. turcmenus FAUVEL, O. loeffleri SCHEERPELTZ, and O. opacipennis CAMERON are described and illustrated for the first time. Three species are described and distinguished from their respective closest relatives: O. jumlaensis sp. n. from Nepal, O. svaneticus sp. n. from the Caucasus region, and O. bhutanensis sp. n. from Bhutan. Their primary and secondary sexual characters are illustrated. An examination of the previously unavailable holotype of O. loeffleri SCHEERPELTZ resulted in the following synonymy: Othius loeffleri SCHEERPELTZ 1976 = Othiogeiton nepalensis SCHEERPELTZ 1976, syn. n. Key words: Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Staphylininae, Othiini, Othius, Palaearctic region, distribution, ecology, taxonomy, revision, new species, new synonym. Introduction The Othius species of the Palaearctic region have recently been revised in several steps (ASSING 1997a, 1997b, 1998a, 1998b, 1999; ASSING & SOLODOVNIKOV 1998; ASSING & WUNDERLE 1995). -

L. 27/02/2004 N. 46) art. -
The Rhaeto-Romance Languages
Romance Linguistics Editorial Statement Routledge publish the Romance Linguistics series under the editorship of Martin Harris (University of Essex) and Nigel Vincent (University of Manchester). Romance Philogy and General Linguistics have followed sometimes converging sometimes diverging paths over the last century and a half. With the present series we wish to recognise and promote the mutual interaction of the two disciplines. The focus is deliberately wide, seeking to encompass not only work in the phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, and lexis of the Romance languages, but also studies in the history of Romance linguistics and linguistic thought in the Romance cultural area. Some of the volumes will be devoted to particular aspects of individual languages, some will be comparative in nature; some will adopt a synchronic and some a diachronic slant; some will concentrate on linguistic structures, and some will investigate the sociocultural dimensions of language and language use in the Romance-speaking territories. Yet all will endorse the view that a General Linguistics that ignores the always rich and often unique data of Romance is as impoverished as a Romance Philogy that turns its back on the insights of linguistics theory. Other books in the Romance Linguistics series include: Structures and Transformations Christopher J.
