National Night Out Event Building on the success and neighborhood teamwork of last year’s National Night Out Event, several of your neighbors will be meeting to begin planning for National Night Out 2012, which will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. The planning team meets on the second Tuesday of each month at The Robinson Theater (2903 Q Street). The 5k run will be on residential streets and through four of our city parks. The race will raise the profile of the St. Patrick’s annual Church Hill Irish Festival, create awareness of our beautiful neighborhood and benefit community health initiatives. All proceeds will be donated to the Robinson Theater Community Arts Center (www.robinsontheater.org), which is a is a multi-purpose facility that exists to inspire, enable, and restore healthy community life to the residents of North Church Hill, primarily through arts-based programs.
