The proposed Project site is located in the Wilshire Community Plan Area and the northwest corner of the Rampart Village neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles, approximately 12.4 miles northeast of the Pacific Ocean. The approximately 1.93-acre project site is located within a heavily developed area at 312-328 North Juanita Avenue, 317-345 North Madison Avenue, and 3810-3838 West Oakwood Avenue. The proposed Project site is bound by development to the north, south, and west, and east. For the purposes of this report, the entire block in which the proposed Project site is situated is considered the Study Area. The Study Area falls on public land survey system (PLSS) Section 18 of Township 1 South, Range 13 West, within the Hollywood, CA 7.5-minute USGS Quadrangle. The present study documents the results of a California Historical Resources Information Systems (CHRIS) records search conducted at the South Central Coastal Information Center (SCCIC), and a search of the Native American Heritage Commission’s (NAHC’s) Sacred Lands File (SLF). Tribal consultation has not been required by the City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning (City); it is the understanding of the applicant
