Each groups of the Shebatim would travel on the northern, southern, eastern and west of the Aaron Hakodesh. The Kohanim and Leviyim around the Aaron. Moshe Rabenu was deeply concerned this may cause a great Mahloket between them. As in normal circumstances when people use appointed places to sit, usually there are those very disturbed about these arrangements and thus an argument develops discord and animosity. Here we are dealing with six hundred thousand men plus their wives who knows what is going to happen. Hakadosh Baruch Hu told Moshe, this will not happen. When they were receiving the Torah on Har Sinai, two hundred and twenty thousand Malachim came down from the Shamayim (some say 22 thousand Malachim) singing praises. Bnei Yisrael saw how organized they were and such unity told Moshe I am now 'ה amongst them, and they all craved to imitate them, therefore giving them their desire. As we see in our daily Shaharit prayers speaking about the unity .and for one another 'ה and love the Malachim have for

כולם אהובים כולם ברורים כולם גבורים וכולם מקבלים עליהם עול מלכות שמים זה .מזה ונותנים רשות זה לזה

As they receive from one another permission to accept upon themselves the yoke of HaShem, they in turn give to the others permission to do so. Each one is concerned for At .ה' – קדוש קדוש קדוש ה' צבקות וכו' the others, and then finally they in union praise that point when Bnei Yisrael yearned to be like the Malachim, they removed from themselves all types of jealousy and desire to outdo others. The Ahaba between them excelled to the highest level and happiness reigned amongst them.

Rab Aharon Kotler Zt”l comments; since the Torah is so meticulous and in length describes what order the Shebatim should travel, is a lesson for us the (Continued on page 2)

(Continued from page 1) necessity of order in ones life. In order to achieve and maintain success in Torah, one must be organized. When one is disorganized it shows that his mind is not organized and cannot succeed in learning. Aside from that he can not conform to regulations and being part of group projects or organizations, Klal Yisrael is a whole, each person responsible for the others, which produces unity and fulfilling the Torah is in its entirety. We see from the order of the Keriat Shema that the Rabbis put in order, first Ve’ahabta which is the individual obligations of Misvot, and then Vehaya, which is his obligation to the community. As we also see in Pareshat Behukotai the difference when there is unity and not. When they would fight the enemy five united men would defeat a hundred enemy. But if one hundred unified men would fight together they would defeat ten thousand. Organization and unity are the building blocks The Sefer Lekah Tov brings a .ה' of success and achieving the full acknowledgement of few examples of how great people grew from this Mida.

Rab Zundel M’Selant Zt”l said an organized person is not the big things but also on the small things. Such as, walking in a uniform manner and not haphazardly, dressed properly, not his shirt sticking out or not buttoned, his jacket is clean, not full of ling, his hair is not unkempt, shoes not clean, clothes thrown around, and not folded neatly. Reb Chaim Shmuelevitz Zt”l said that the daily schedule is organized – the time to rise, to sleep, to eat, to learn, his handwriting is clear, his Seforim are in order, his Talit is folded properly, his place of prayer and learning are set daily and without his cleanliness. Manners and Derech Eretz above all will definitely develop a true Talmid Hacham and a Sadik.

Shabbat Shalom HaRav Ezra Zafrani Stories of Gedolim The Chofetz Chaim - Safekeeping During WWI The Holy Chofetz Chaim was staying in the city of Sonovsk and one day a fire broke out on the street where he was living. All the people in the house rushed in a state of panic and packed up their valuables. However The Chofetz Chaim remained sitting quietly lost in thought, trying to remember something. Suddenly the Great Sage jumped to his feet with an expression of satisfaction on his face. He then dragged his chair to a closet, climbed up and removed a watch from the top shelf of the closet and placed it in his pocket. He then asked people to help him carry out his belongings from the burning house. When everything calmed down and everyone was safe, people came to ask The Chofetz Chaim about his mysterious behavior.

SUNDA FLYING Its name is misleading because the is neither a lemur nor does it actually fly. It’s actually a type of called a , and this one accounts for half of all the known in the world. The other one is called the .

Like the flying squirrel, the Sunda flying lemur, or Galeopterus variegatus was created with a unique way to move among the trees of its native environment—using folds of skin that stretch between its limbs, it glides from branch to branch. From birth to death, Sunda flying live their entire lives in the canopies throughout Southeast Asia. Their feet and limbs are well designed for climbing, but are nearly useless for ground speed, meaning that falling to the ground is an almost certain recipe for death, so their leaps need to be accurate. The skin membrane, called a patagium, connects from the neck, extending along the limbs to the tips of the fingers, toes and nails. It is barely a millimeter thick and covers a surface area nearly six times the size of the rest of their body when fully spread. It’s also efficient—Sunda flying lemurs can glide over 320 feet in one jump, and they pull it off without dropping more than 33 feet during the flight. The ability to glide gives colugo's access to scattered food resources in the rainforest, without increasing exposure to terrestrial or arboreal predators. This creature is surely the result of the amazing plan and purpose of HaShem.

The Great Sage replied, “One of the students in the Yeshiva gave me his watch for safekeeping. I was responsible for it, but at the moment I was not able to recall where I stored it. Once I remembered where I placed it and had it in my possession, then I could worry about my own belongings.”
