He attended postgraduate studies of International relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb. He has been employed as a senior editor and journalist in Croatian daily newspaper Vecernji list. Today, as a retired journalist, he is still very active in the Krizevci local community. Telefónica, Madrid November 3-5, 2010 14 of 12 About the Authors (2/3) Sandro Novosel gained B.A. in Sociology on the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at University of Zagreb in 2007 with final paper from Political Sociology. He is currently employed at the Department for Financing and Contracting of EU projects within Croatian Employment Service, working as a project manager. He is a student of Advanced Master of European Studies, interdisciplinary program on the Faculty of Political Science at University of Zagreb. He participated at series of workshops and seminars on EU, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration as well as those on the EU funds, organized by Central Office for Development Strategy and Coordination of EU funds. As an active member of civil community and member of P.O.I.N.T. Association, he participated at REAS 2007 and REAS 2009 conferences, organized by Croatian Interdisciplinary Society. Telefónica, Madrid November 3-5, 2010 15 of 12 About the Authors (3/3) Hrvoje Belani gained his BSc (in 2003) and MSc (in 2007) in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at University of Zagreb in field of telecommunications and informatics. He is employed at Department of Telecommunications on the same faculty as research associate and he is a PhD student there. He is author and co-author of 16 scientific and professional articles in the areas of his research interests: software security engineering and formal methods, web and cyber security and privacy, and software requirements, processes and projects. He is the IEEE member since 2004 and one of the founders and the president of non-profitable non-governmental P.O.I.N.T. Association in Krizevci. He is a multiannual activist in the civil sector for out-institutional education, independent culture, media and new technology, coordinating many non- profitable projects (Five4Kids, Culture Shock Festival, Krizevci.eu, Guide for Postgraduate Studies Abroad, etc.).
